Went for happy hour and loved the pork belly and boneless wings so much!! Service was fast as well and there was plenty of seating when we went.
Thrive continues to impress after being open for many years. I especially love their colorful drink menu showing what goes in each cocktail. Their menu is small plates. Yes they are expensive. But the interior is beautiful, service is always outstanding, and the food has unique twists....Worth it I especially love the crisp rice bites and slider menu. Perfect stop with friends before heading out for the night. It gets too loud on a weekend night for a date but during the week it would make a great date night destination. They wouldn't be my go-to for sushi, but it's not bad either. The only small suggestion I'd love to see, is adding a rotating special cocktail to the happy hour menu. The happy hour drink list is very unimpressive given the normal drink menu
This is a VERY cute spot Downtown Orlando. I usually park in the parking garage across from the fire station and walk over. The place is beautifully decorated with greenery and modern furniture. I've been here both for brunch and dinner. The drink menu is so unique. The diagrams show you the contents of the drink in a legend kind of style and every drink I've had here is delicious. The waitstaff is attentive and the bartenders are skilled. My favorite item is the Double Play sushi entree. The chef, like the other staff, knows what hes doing back there! The food comes out hot and perfectly crispy. This is a great place for brunch/dinner with friends or as a date night.
This place is truly one of my all time favorites. I can honestly say there hasn't been a single visit where the food disappointed. The ambiance is always on point great vibe, perfect for a fun dinner or date night. This time we tried several dishes and every single one delivered. The Your Highness is an absolute must. You cannot skip it. It's that good. We also had the Mr. Rice Guy, crispy sushi rice topped with tuna and avocado, and it was delicious, perfectly textured and flavorful. The Drunken Belly remains one of my forever favorites. The flavor on those pork belly bites is just out of this world. And for the first time, we tried the Pineapple Express, and I loved the combination of sweetness with the serrano cream cheese. Such a good balance. Service could have been a little better this visit, but the food was so incredible it honestly didn't take away from the experience. Still a five star spot for me, every time.
We went here before going to a play at Dr. Phillips, super walkable. The restaurant is clean and has all of the vibes. Our server was prompt and food came out very quickly. The only food we got that we weren't crazy about was the pork belly. I think it could be crispier. Highly recommend everything else and loved the mocktails we ordered too.
Thrive Cocktail Lounge is a relatively new spot in downtown Orlando, and it absolutely delivers on atmosphere. The interior is visually stunning--modern, intentional, and clearly designed to feel like an experience, not just a place to grab a drink. The cocktails are where Thrive really separates itself. This is artisanal mixology done with confidence. You can tell there's real experience behind the bar--thoughtful flavor combinations, balanced pours, and drinks that feel crafted rather than rushed or trendy for the sake of it. Overall, Thrive feels like a place that knows exactly what it wants to be: stylish, polished, and elevated without feeling pretentious. If you're looking for a downtown cocktail spot that brings both aesthetics and substance, this one is worth checking out.
Visited thrive for a small bite and my fiancé birthday celebration. It was pretty busy outside the restaurant, inside the restaurant was civilized lol.. Upon entrance we greeted and seated immediately. We advised our waitress Brittney of allergies, and I would like to thank Jay(chef) and Brittney(waitress) for their amazing, attentive and careful service to my fiancé and I. My fiancé is allergic to sesame seeds and they both made special accommodations for him. Jay cooked every dish separately to avoid cross contamination. He was able to get dumplings, wangz with sauce on the side (for me). Crab and cream cheese rangoonies and I got the burger sliders. The food was great, everything was fresh, tasty and on point. The music was also good 2000s music, jamming while eating good food. I will definitely visit again and ask for Brittney. 10/10
Went to Thrive Cocktail Lounge & Eatery to celebrate my birthday with my neighbor Victoria and had an amazing brunch experience. There's no street parking, so we paid $15 for 3 hours at a lot up the street. I highly recommend making reservations, especially on weekends. We went early to beat the crowd. Our waitress Mia was great very friendly and attentive. We started with waters and a few shots, then ordered several tapas-style dishes to share: Up To Dumpling, Breakfast Bao's, Let's Have A Toast (VG), and Takes Two To Mango*. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. For dessert, we had Can't Go Wrong, which was the perfect way to end the meal. The drinks were good, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Overall, a great spot for brunch and special occasions!
Perfect spot right near the Dr. Phillips Center--we stopped in after a show and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the food was impeccable, and the drinks were just as good. Such a cute atmosphere, too. Definitely worth a visit!
So good!! Decided to stop in before going to see a show at the Dr. Phillips Center. This place is walking distance from the theatre and is absolutely beautiful. Great use of space, plants everywhere, and tastefully decorated for the holidays. I was impressed walking in at how they transformed such a small space into a symbol of their mission of natural and sustainable foods. Speaking of food, this place is a tapas restaurant. The drinks are also hand crafted with attention paid to each ingredient. The menu is extensive but worthy of the time to go over to ensure you get a good mix of Items. Oh, and the staff is incredible!! Great recommendations and energy. There were three of us and we had about an hour and a half to kill so we grabbed drinks and about 5 plates to share. The cocktails were delicious and came quickly. The food was equally delicious. The pork belly was my favorite. There is rice in the bowl, so dig deep when dishing. The wings were pretty good, but not as crispy as I'd expected for being double fried. Great flavor though. The sliders were good, but very much a standard mushroom take. Not pictured are the bap buns which come two to an order and are amazing, and the noodles which were also a delight. Overall, Thrive lives up to the hype. 9/10 would recommend and can't wait to go back!
Stopped in for a late bite after a night downtown. We noticed they were pretty busy, especially for a Wednesday so we took that as a good sign. Upon entry we were greeted by a nice gentleman and seated at one of their booths facing the bar, which we liked because we were able to see the tvs. The restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance is earthy and trendy. They played great music and our server was kind and attentive. They have a pretty extensive menu selection so we ordered a variety of dishes to share. They are a little on the pricier side and in our opinion the food was just okay. The flavor of a few of the items like the wings and noodles weren't what we were expecting- not to say it was outright bad but just off. The sliders were decent, and the wontons/potstickers were pretty bland but we still ate them. Would we return? Possibly on another random night out downtown to try some of their other dishes and drinks.
Thrive was good, but something about it just doesn't want to make me return. I didn't hate it by any means, but nothing had a wow factor with flavor. Visually stunning, but empty flavors. Service was impeccable though as the waiter had lots of recommendations and was spot on with drink refills and seeing if we needed anything. The sushi offerings were probably the best things. The fish was fresh and presented nicely on ice. The Crispy Rice was just ok and the boneless wings were so chewy I had to spit them out. The sauce was good though... lol They have some interesting drink combinations too, but again, they looked amazing but fell flat. It makes me understand that Simpsons episode where Bart makes Manhattans for the Mafia Boss ("What have I done to deserve this flat, flavorless Manhattan?). They have something going for them as it was crowded and trendy, but I go for great food and drinks over atmosphere and service, and Thrive just didn't hit the mark on the first 2. They nailed the last 2 though.
Absolutely amazing! From the immediate greeting upon arrival to the service by our waitress, it was awesome. The Fire Fries were crispy and soft on the inside. It was almost like a french fry sushi roll, very delicious. The Bonito flakes were cool as they sort of swayed as if they were alive, due to the heat of the fries. Creepy to my friends lol. The Double Play shrimp was perfectly seasoned and crunchy; the Big Shrimpin' roll with the tempura flakes + spicy mayo *chefs kiss* The dumplings were so good, short rib inside was tender and juicy. I definitely would return!

My friend and I stopped by here on the way to the Magic game. The food and service were amazing! They have alot of different craft cocktails. The one with the banana chips was my fave and my friend really enjoyed her expresso martini. This place is great. I cant wait to return! read more
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in downtown Orlando. The service was good and the music was a vibe. Along with the chill atmosphere, the food was so good! I have no complaints, everything was so good, I went two nights in a row! My favorite item is the shrimp tempura. I highly recommend this restaurant for a late night eat. The only downside is that they aren't open late at night like some of the other businesses nearby. Love this place and I'll definitely be back! read more

This restaurant has one of the best happy hour menus downtown. Asian inspired dishes is definitely the focus. We went with the Cali Roll and Pork Belly with Rice. 10 out of 10. Just be aware of bartenders are quite young which made the place feel more like a collage hangout. But thanks ok. The craft drinks and high quality food will be us coming back. read more

This is a great bar in the heart of downtown Orlando, walking distance from where The Magic play (Kia Center) and nearby Brightline and SunRail train stops. The bar area is huge and extends the entire length of the restaurant. There are booths to sit at if you bring a party of 4-6, but sitting at the bar is how you get the best experience at this place. There are many small plates that you can combine to produce an almost endless combination of full meals. I've been here 3 times and my favorite combination for dinner is to order the steak and pair it with the Brussel sprouts. See the picture I included where I put them together. What I appreciate about this place is the way they let you pick your protein for some dishes like the salads, and by making so many small plates you can get creative and easily stack your protein or just maximize the amount of dishes you can try. I am a HUGE fan of Thrivev and surprised it's not more popular. The craft cocktails are delicious. The menu is always changing and always delicious. Service is quick, and everything is tapas style so it comes out as it's ready. I would recommend just getting a bunch of things and sharing amongst the table! I love the dark vibe and it's a great place if you want to actually talk to the people at the table with you. The menu has a lot of raw items and I wish there were more cooked foods. read more
Stopped into Thrive Cocktail Lounge & Eatery for brunch during a quick day trip to Orlando, and it was a great choice. The energy was perfect--good music playing to set the vibe but not obnoxiously loud, and the crowd was more young adults with not a kid in sight, which made for a really enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. My waitress was also incredibly friendly and fast. The drink menu here is solid. I had both an espresso martini and a margarita, and both were delicious with generous pours--definitely not the kind of place that skimps on the good stuff. For food, I went with a mix of sushi and a brunch dish, and it was a mostly great experience: * Up to Dumpling (Steamed Short Rib Gyoza, Ginger, Garlic, Cabbage, Ponzu, Microgreens) - Wow, this was fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the short rib was incredibly tender. * Your Highness (Tempura Shrimp, Kani, Cream Cheese, Tempura Flakes, Seared Rare Top Sirloin, Truffle Mushrooms) - Another hit. Unique, well-balanced flavors with just the right mix of textures. * King of the Castle (Top Sirloin, Pair of Fried Eggs, Hollandaise, Sweet Potato Hash) - This was the only letdown of the meal. It was a bit bland, and I found myself wishing I had just ordered another sushi roll instead. Overall, Thrive is a fantastic spot for brunch if you're looking for great drinks, great sushi, and a lively but comfortable atmosphere. I've been to Thrive many many times as it's in the heart of downtown Orlando. They are open late serving food and cocktails all day. My friends and I went after a night out and I ordered the Heavy Petal mocktail. The mocktail was average but very sweet! The server did forget about our table initially so it took a while to get our food and drinks ordered, but once the food came there were no complaints. Everyone enjoyed their food and my favorite from their menu are the mochi wings, always delicious! read more

We've come here several times for Friday night dates, knowing every time we'll be met with great service, food and drinks. However this time we were met with exceptional service by Ashlyn one of the bartenders there. I had questions about some espresso martinis, she went through how it's made and ingredients and sounded genuinely enthusiastic to take the time to explain. It made our night so fun. read more

This is a cute little place in downtown Orlando, not too far from the Dr Phillips Performing Arts Center. It is a great place to go get drinks before a show. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and helpful. The sushi is REALLY good! They have excellent craft drinks that change with the season. I had the "basic witch". It tasted like a spiked pumpkin pie. It was awesome. I will be heading back soon read more

I throughly enjoyed Thrive on my last visit to Orlando. Located in downtown this bustling bar/restaurant had both amazing food and drink options! We had the sliders and the fried Brussel sprouts and both dishes were top notch! They have an extensive drink menu but I opted for my usual (expresso martini) and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 7pm and this place filled up quickly! I will definitely visit thrive again next time I'm in the Orlando area! read more

The ambiance was nice. My server Jelianie was super sweet and helpful. My food, unfortunately, didn't come out great. The salad was fine (Cukes of Hazard) but the boneless Mochi Wangz were hard and dry. It's dark meat and drying out thighs is hard to do. They were also way too salty. Everyone has off days and I heard good things about the place, it's just unfortunate my wings were not edible. read more
I've been to Thrive 4-5 times and I've always had a nice experience. They have a great menu. I usually do a few sushi rolls and pick one of their small plates. Their late hours are a nice perk, especially when dining there after a Magic game or after a show at the Dr. Phillips Center. Also got delivery from here recently and it was great. The drink menu is also wonderful. read more

We ordered so many things, so keeping the table "everything you need & nothing you don't" was a must. So many apps, and bites. Went to Thrive for Brunch and Thrive I think is definitely a place to grab happy hour drinks because that's what I really enjoyed there (Except the espresso martini I didn't know it's made with cold brew I saw that on the menu after I ordered) the food was subpar. It's known for the wings which is probably why it's $21 for just 6 but the wings were better than the rest of the food we ordered. Sushi looked good at other tables probably should've tried that instead. The service was great and it's definitely a vibe. read more
Thrive. Doesn't. Miss. Back again around my birthday for all the veggie noms and tasty beverages. The vibe here is nicer (cocktail/after work) but people come in pretty casual at times too. Service was good and the waitress was helpful. I didn't take enough food pics but I've never had anything I didn't like. Got the cucumbers, Brussels, zohan hummus, noodles, bao buns and everything was yummy. Will be back and will bring friends! read more

Bars and clubs in Downtown Orlando can get... Noisy. Crowded. Unpleasant. This place is the opposite of it. If you feel a bit too old, tired, or cool for the typical clubbing experience, or are simply seeking a refined space to savor a delicious cocktail, Thrive is your spot. The first time I drove past this place, I was quite intrigued by the sign. I thought it was a bar or a restaurant serving marijuana-based food and drinks. Thrive actually serves regular food, which basically consists of brunch entrees and appetizers with super creative names. The true standout, though, is their exceptional cocktail selection. I tried the LSDream and Put a Ring on It and both were SUPERB. Incredibly well-balanced, as Thrive's super creative "geometric" menu hints - my favorite menu in O-Town! To top everything, their ambiance is simply stunning. The decor features gorgeous brick walls and plants, great lighting, and leather booths. It's a place where every element comes together. read more

They have quirky names for a lot of their menu items, but we ordered the cucumber salad, boneless wings, burrata, noodles, crispy rice and a sushi roll! Tasty fusion tapas. Happy hour till 7pm is great and offers both drinks and tapas. We all shared many apps. The stand outs were the Korean fried chicken and pork belly. I also personally enjoyed the tempura mushrooms with the cream sauce. I liked the Mr nice guy but think the fried rice piece could be a little smaller to balance out with the spicy tuna- little rice heavy. I also really appreciated the na drink options. Glad to see more restaurants making this a priority for patrons. Definitely a great place to grab a drink and a bite before show or a night out in DTO. read more

Went here for a late night dinner. The restaurant is very nice and there's usually always a DJ in there. The drinks were great and the food was really good actually. I ended up getting some edamame and sliders and the sliders were BOMB! Our server was super nice as well. Can't wait to go back! read more
The food here is so good! I think about it for days on end after I leave. We went today and there was only one server and a rush of people started to come in. She handled it like a champ! Although I would like it if there was more lighting since the further back you sit in the dining room the darker it gets because its not next to the one window they have. I had the sushi and the noodz and they were amazing per usual. read more

This place is thriving! It is packed every time I have been and for good reason! They have unique cocktails with innovative dishes! Thrive is full of greenery and gives you that lush/ chic atmosphere! Everything on this menu sounds good so it's hard to choose what to order! Some of my favorites that I have tried are the Mr.Rice guy, High steaks (melts in your mouth-and the dipping sauce is OMG) , Fried and gone to heaven, the fireworks, and Maguro Madness! Their sushi is fresh with quality ingredients paired perfectly together! I look forward to coming back and exploring more of their menu with tasty eats and drinks! read more
