This would be the first time I've ever done an update review on a place. This says a lot about how great this place is! I decided to give this place another go around. Not much of a surprise but I got another sport injury (...yay...). I have a shoulder injury and I couldn't tell exactly what was going on. I tried to ice it in different places but it wasn't feeling better. I made the decision to schedule an appointment with Dr.K. First time meeting with Dr. K, he was sweet. He made sure I was taken care of and I was comfortable. He was doing a few mobility test to determine what the issue was with my shoulder. He gave me exercises to do at home. The staff was amazing. I rarely write reviews on Yelp but I'm doing this to advocate for this place if your on the fence about choosing a chiro. I've been dealing with numbness in my mid back and trap pain for 3 years. I've been to multiple chiropractors and massage therapists to treat this and they couldn't give me a definite diagnosis and never ran any tests. After my first session with Dr. Kauffman, he ran tests on me, told me what was causing my trap and back issues, and has put a treatment plan in place as well as at home exercises to do. Eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth time! Believe it or not! Always a smooth and wonderful experience here. Sign in your name, go in and enjoy the massage chair while you wait. Start with electrotherapy, active release therapy with soft tissue exercises, and end with cold low light laser therapy. My experience here was all well worth the time and money. This review is for Dr James. I am a gym rat and my body was always in some aches or pain. I tried getting deep tissue massages once every 10days, and that eased my symptoms (neck & shoulder pain) but didn't take away the pain. I decided to give Thrive Milpitas a try (based on my spouse's recommendation) and has been one of the best decisions. Dr James is amazing and effective. He was able to fix 80% of the pain just in the first session. He is very skilled and the adjustments he has made has tremendously helped my neck, back and shoulder pain. Great service! I felt so much better of the adjustments and physiotherapy. No more tightness, tension and soreness of my muscles. I wanted to update my review. After my previous review(Aug 2023) Dr Kauffman contacted me and did a free consultation with me at their Milpitas office. He reviewed all my reports in the next 2 days. After assessing my condition and pain he offered me 6 complementary sessions which involved chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release, spinal decompression, cold laser therapy and ultrasound in each session. Dr Kuaffman was very caring, patient, gentle, compassionate and he really wanted to see me feeling better after each session. I did feel some difference in pain at the end of 6th session. I am planning to take some more sessions with them. I recommend seeing Dr Kauffman if you are suffering from any type of pain. Their front desk and staff are nice and helpful too. read more

Great practice! My mother in law recommended this practice to my husband an I. Doctor Kauffman is an excellent professional and he does his job well. He, along with his entire staff, are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. I've never went to a chiropractor before, but since going here it has enhanced my physical well being. I gave birth to my daughter 3 months ago and had an epidural. The injection site was incredibly sore, and looking down at my newborn had taken a toll on my back. What can I say about Dr. Saber that you don't already know about this guy. His adjustments are the best and is very specific. I have benefited by using chiropractic support off and on since 1983 and treated by many different DC's over the years. I used to drive all the way down to Los Gatos, fighting the traffic to see my DC for years. Recently I decided to search for a new doctor, closer to home. I discovered Thrive Milpitas a couple of weeks ago but was holding off on my review until I got to know the staff and doctor better. Well today makes for my 3rd visit and happy to report I've found my new holistic health clinic. I have to start by saying that Dr. Saber has been treating me for an injury that I suffered 2 weeks prior and I think he is a very good Chiropractor. I only wish that I had known about Thrive on the day I was hurt. I should disclose that I have pre-existing injuries to my neck and back, much of it due to mileage on this body from sports injuries and car accidents in the past. So I don't want just any DC adjusting my neck and back, I want an expert. Dr. Saber listens and communicates well, doesn't rush the patient and is pleasant. And unlike some clinics that rush you in and out with their volume business model, Thrive's philosophy is to carefully and completely heal your body. After speaking with you, he will examine your posture, check your range of motion, work on pressure points/massage to prep your body to relax. He also uses heat/ice + electrical stimulation for a set time before returning to adjust your spine. All while discussing the procedure so you understand what's next. I appreciate his expert technique used during his adjustments. He has a good touch, just right, which should inspire confidence for the patient receiving treatment. I look forward to my visits to Thrive Milpitas because of their well-thought out holistic health care processes. I've yet to use their massage therapists, but hope to experience that when the current Covid-19 restrictions lift. Additionally, if you're into acupuncture they have that too. If you are an athlete, you know how important it is to see a trained sports injury specialist and not just any doctor. They also have cold laser therapy, equipment to facilitate rehab and much more. I originally booked an appointment here because they are open weekends and have late hours weekdays that accommodate working professionals. BUT after a few visits, I saw this chiropractic office is AMAZING. Dr. Saber is gives the right treatment that you need in addition to an adjustment. In a visit, I get an adjustment, an electric pulse pad therapy w heat, a MASSAGE from these incredible machines (you got to try it), and personalized muscle work on the areas where it needs treatment. Darian's personality is wonderful, gentle, and intuitive. I always leave there with new tips on products to try that I need like a better neck supporting pillow. BEST chiro office. I decided to try this new chiropractor because my prior provider is on maternity leave. I have postpartum back/lumbar pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, leg pain, hip pain and arm pain. After a couple of visit my body feels so much better. My leg pain may require me to do some further exercise but I feel a lot better compared to before. There are a couple of reason this is definitely a go-to place for patients. 1) Dr. Kauffman and Dr. Saber are both very experienced practitioner and pleasant to talk to as well. I have had headaches for months and right after the first visit with Dr. Kauffman, I had the best sleep since baby delivery for 6 months. 2) The wellness center is well established with nice staffs and a variety of rehab equipment. Comparing to smaller chiropract, Thrive offers a lot more services like electronic pulse simulation, traction, cold laser therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and even guasha. I personally have had all above treatment during my visits to Thrive. 3) They take insurance! My Anthem PPO insurance allows me to pay $30 per visit. 4) Even without insurance their price is the most reasonable I have ever seen. They also offer bundle package. If you are an existing patience I think it is $330 for 6 visit (I could be wrong). I have had other chiropractor charging me $50 for a 10 min visit, similar price but much less service. All in all I highly encourage anybody who have neck or lumber pain (pretty common these days) to come over and try. The service here will definitely help with the symptom and their doctors' and staffs' nice personality will make your visit enjoyable. You will not regret! read more

I have been waiting until my 5th appointment with Dr Kauffman to make a review that is as detailed as can be. I've had back pain since I was 14 from a dumb mistake I did & I just couldn't deal with being use to the pain anymore. So I reached out to Thrive Milpitas and they were very quick with responding.. My first appointment was very welcoming as well as helpful. It started off with checking in and using the computers to describe my symptoms with my back aches. After, I got a tour of the place and one of his assistants took me to Dr. Kauffman's office after and went through a thorough exam that allowed both the assistant as well as the Doctor to do what they think is best to make my pack pain slowly go away. I had never had my spine adjusted before and once Dr Kauffman did my adjustment. I mean, wow. It was an experience. I instantly felt slight relief. And it's been getting better and better every appointment. You leave with a treatment plan to continue to maintain your spine health, as well as a few techniques to do some stretching at home. Since that initial appointment , I've been coming in every week , twice a week and everything has been such a great experience. The front desk is welcoming. My first time here and enjoyed my massage. Front desk was efficient in checking me in and out. Paperwork for first time patients was easy enough. I wasn't used to the massage room being so bright, but it was still a good massage with S. She asked questions throughout and explained what she was doing. She also explained why I was having the tension in my muscles and how to prevent it. The oil they use isn't greasy and doesn't smell like anything strong like some places where you leave and can't wait to take a shower. She gave me a chilled small bottle of water afterwards. I saw the advertised $69 introductory 60 minute massage for new clients and decided to try here. Elaine was my massage therapist. Her technique is more Swedish combined with muscle work and she really takes her time when giving the massage making it for a more relaxing massage. It's in a darkened room with relaxing sound and a heated massage table. I'm a massage enthusiast and have basically tried all types of massage in the Bay Area. Thai, Chinese foot reflexology, deep tissue.... When I've been to the asian spas, I am usually in pain during and then it feels better afterwards. With this massage, I wasn't in pain during my massage at all. It was so relaxing that I was very sleepy afterwards. No bruises after my massage like when I go to Chinese foot spas. For the normal price of $85, not sure I'll be back. If there are discounts or pre-paid packages, then count me in. My massage therapist also works at one of the high end spas in the Bay Area so she is legit. read more

He is a miracle worker who put me back on my feet, just when I thought nobody would be able to help me anymore. I've been going to this place since Oct of last year and wish I went sooner. I have been experiencing some type of nerve entrapment and felt I needed something more than just chiropractic care. I first arrived there with my neck burning and was very emotional and concerned. I was evaluated by Dr. Saber and he gave me some answers and treatment. Immediately after the first session, my neck stopped burning. I was also provided a list of recommended stretches via email, which I was able to save the playlist on my phone. They also provide follow up emails on what to expect after your first appointment and what to do (i.e. soreness, and how to treat). I was originally going there 2x/week then once a week as I got better. After a few months of consistency, I was pain free and all the symptoms I had before were gone. I went back again for different symptoms. (It's important to stay consistent with the stetches and be mindful of posture!). I mainly go to the Milpitas location, but have gone to the San Jose location as well. What I like about this place is also the different types of treatments like electro stimulation, laser, and ART. Booking an appointment for massage was also an option as an add-on discount I believe if you have a package(?) This place I felt was also very affordable with the different package options. I appreciated that they had prices immediately available online. I heard about the acupuncture and cupping but haven't had the chance to try it. They are also on top of cleaning procedures, checking temps, and wearing masks. Hands free sanitizer dispensers are there as well. One other thing I want to point out is if you're given recommended stretches via the playlist in your email, confirm the sets/reps/times per day with the chiropractor. The videos may not match what they recommend. Everyone is very nice and polite. I always enjoy talking with Judith when I see her as she sets me up for the electro stim and laser!
