Upon further looking, Dr. Yassini is at New Age . I was going off what was in the form. So I'm sorry if I did not double check that. However, Dr. Yassini is also a good doc. At the end of the day, I want to let you know that I decided to to not treat you as I wanted to see an MRI which you refused me to send you out because you wanted it done at Washington hospital. This was my professional decision so please respect that. . I also stated that once you get the MRI that I would be happy to review it with you and give you my opinion. Yes we were busy and I apologize that you had to wait and my staff should have never booked that appointment for you given our busy schedule that day. If there is anything further I can do to remedy the situation, please let me know as we do not like having patient unhappy with our services. We take pride in making sure everyone is satisfied even if we did not get a chance to treat them. Thank you, Dr Patel. You came in and I gave you my professional opinion that you needed an MRI before I would consider doing any treatments for you. Unfortunately with your history of the lupus and also the prostate cancer it is important for us to screen the patient one extra step and not cause further damage. That was my second opinion for you. In the past I have sent referrals to Washington hospital for Imaging and it was denied unless the primary care provider at Washington wrote the prescription. I'm truly sorry that you are this unhappy with our interaction as my intention was to make it clear that no one should be performing further treatment on you until you have an MRI taken and reviewed to see if its safe to provide the treatments. Then was referred by the care of this center and it was beyond my expectations of experience. 5 Stars for the spine center! I have had back and hip issues for the past 21 years. Kaiser has been trash in terms of supporting me and I was at my wits end until I found the spine center. Dr. Riley is amazing, he is very honest and real about my individual situation but also encouraging and gave me hope for the first time in years. KEVIN gave me hands down the best massage ever! He gave me individualized care for my back and hips. He gave me exactly what my back needed and I didn't even have to tell him. He was able to feel where I was tight and hone in on those spots. I don't know her name but the girl in the front that schedules appointments and gets you set up with paperwork and things like that is super sweet and a great addition to their practice. Didn't think much of it after the first session but slowly started feeling the difference in my back. No more pressure on my shoulders, upper back, neck and I wasn't hunching anymore. My dad had his first consultation visit with Dr. Riley today, and it was exceptional! He made us feel that he really cared about my dad's limitations on his shoulder and pain on his neck. He thoroughly explained to us the difference between medical and chiropractic treatment by showing us videos which is great if you are a visual learner (which i am). He also went straight to therapy after consultation and my dad felt a littke better saying he felt looser. No doubt, we are going back. So this is my third time here and I usually go to FERN (got your name right this time!) but he only works Tuesday and Wednesday for massages so since I'm coming from LA to visit my bf Fern had nothing available. So I saw Alisha (I hope I have the name down right, sorry if I don't) but let me tell you, just like Fern, she was absolutely great! She released the transition I had in my neck and shoulder for a few weeks now. She's super great and just us a miracle worker! I love this place! I came in with awful, awful back pain (can't reach my knees, sitting was painful, laying down hurt). I was working on a M&A 12-18 hour days over Zoom calls and emails. Add in a horrible chair and desk set-up and I was locked up. I also have mild scoliosis and a lifetime of bad posture. I came in for the first exposure for chiropractic care and I am so glad I did! When I started treatment at milpitas Spine Center the shelter in place just came into effect due to the Covid virus. Feeling unlucky I got hit but blessed that their office remained open to treat me. After several consultation, I've found the chiropractor to go to and that's Milpitas Spine Center with Dr. Patel. His very practical and will work with you to heal you naturally. He will be blunt with you and ensure you will feel comfortable with him. He makes adjustments very easy going and gets personal with you unlike general practice physicians you tend to find. If you have a problem, talk to him and he'll take a look at it and suggest what he can do; if he can't he will tell you he can't and will suggest what your next steps should be. I called in a few weeks ago asked if they take Kaiser insurance as we have been seeing other doctor and had to switch as the doctor left the company we have been visiting. They told me yes, they take Kaiser and I assumed I knew the rates as we know our co-pay. My husband had an appointment today and came in very upset: 1) the doctor tried to upsell him right away- asking to pay 30$ for warm up before the adjustment 2) when my husband refused, the doctor tried to upsale their massage for 40$, which again is not something my husband came for 3) the doctor constantly complained about Kaiser and how much he hates to be their partner( how much of paper work he needs to fill out , that they will not cover certain things,etc) So, my husband came in disappointed as he constantly felt under pressure, moreover ( which is a big surprise to me) the doctor agreed to do adjustment WITHOUT warming my husband's neck. Question is:why in the world you tell people you take Kaiser and then take advantage of them once they come in?! Not coming back-do not recommend! read more

Genuinely shocked to see less than 5-star ratings here- every experience ive had with them for over 4 months now has been wonderful. I really didn't understand how badly I needed a chiro until about a month after starting treatment here. I think I had just accepted the fact that my back will always hurt and it is what it is. Friend convinced me to at least try this and she was totally correct. It takes consistency, and following the doctors orders (although that should go without saying), but its like night and day. Theyve always been super easy - automated appt reminders, no issues with my insurance, and ive always been seen within 5 minutes of arriving (which is amazing for a doctors office). No complaints at all. I'd say even if youre on the fence about the necessity of going to a chrio, you should at least try it. I personally wish i had started sooner now in hind sight. read more

After many years of receiving great chiropractic care from my previous Chiropractor who is now retired, I have been searching for a new office close to my residence for my father and myself. I read many reviews here on Yelp for MSC and decided to give them a try. We started with the free consultation, which I thought was great having a chance to meet and talk with one of the Chiropractors along with meeting their staff/team. The vibe and ambiance for me was very comforting and inviting as we were welcomed with a friendly smile from the staff. Speaking with Dr. Patel was very strait forward with lots of great information as he listened very thoroughly and answered all of our questions. My father felt comfortable as he started his treatments the following week as I then started to see Dr. Patel shortly after for my treatments. My first treatment/experience was amazing and exactly what I needed; I first received heat therapy to relax and loosen up tightness in the body/muscles followed by an awesome warm up massage (available on certain days), and then to receive my chiropractic adjustment with Dr. Patel which was spot on. I have also booked and tried out a 30min & 60min massage with one of their awesome therapists as it was very therapeutic and just what my body needed for healing. I have worked with my previous Chiropractor for about 10 years as a massage therapist along with experiencing a few other Chiropractors and I must say that Milpitas Spine Center feels like my new home for great-natural-professional-hands on therapy. MSC really does have an amazing team that truly cares about you and they are very reasonable with pricing as I feel very comfortable and confident that I'm being well taken care of bringing my body back to balance. If I could give a negative rating I definately would. The unfortunate part of my experience here is that I will not be able to rate the services as I was unable to receive services from the chiropractor. This rating is based on the customer service. I found this place on Yelp and wanted to get a consultation since they have a really good rating. I made an appt 2 weeks in advance to be seen at 6pm. I went there 15 minutes as requested and even downloaded the online forms and filled them out to save time. When I arrived I was the only person there in the waiting room. After awhile 2 more people showed up. I waited for 30 minutes and no one said a word to me. The doctor saw 1 of the other people waiting in the waiting room (that came after me) without saying a word to me. The receptionist finally told me that the doctor is behind and it will be another 10 mins or so. It was already 6:30 and I have been there since 5:45. Needless to say I ended up leaving because I did not feel comfortable trusting a business with my health that treats there 1st time customers like this. First impression means everything and obviously this practice feels differently. This place lacks customer service and they definately lost a customer. read more
