Dr. Khoa Nguyen is such a rare gem. He is very knowledgeable and is a great addition to my care team of general practitioner and acupuncturist. I am being treated for severe shoulder and neck/back pain from being rear-ended on the freeway just before the Fourth of July freeway rush out of town lane. He is patient and is a good listener. I was very skeptical of chiropractic treatments especially as I started out with a lot of stiffness and soft tissue pain in general. But I have a lot of faith in his healing hands. read more

I was a little nervous going in, but the whole visit ended up going better than expected. The front desk helped get things sorted and were patient with a few of my questions. Once inside, I met with a nurse who walked through my information slowly, making sure everything was up to date. The doctor was soft spoken but thorough. They asked a lot of thoughtful questions and gave space for me to talk about everything that had been bothering me. There was a calm pace to how they handled the appointment. I never felt hurried or dismissed. They explained a few possible situations and made sure to keep the language simple. It helped make sense of things without adding confusion. They also gave me a small list of ideas I could try that didn't feel too intense. I liked that they didn't treat me like I didn't know anything. Everything felt respectful and steady. I wouldn't say it was anything over the top, but it felt good to be heard and not rushed out the door. read more

I was looking for an in network chiropractor close to me and this one came up. I decided to give it a try. Pros: 1) Takes covid precautions (pens are sanitized and marked used for cleaning after each customer and hand sanitizer at the front as well as he is only open every other day to clear the air in between patients) 2) Uses his thumbs for muscle massage therapy on my knots in my upper back. 3) takes his time and I didn't feel rushed as a patient. He spent about 50 minutes on my session which is quite a while compared to the 10-15 minutes I've been to at other chiropractors. Cons: 1) He also did the electronic massage therapy on me which I wasn't really a fan of, but that's personal preference. Other patients may find it relaxing. I did not. 2) He talked a lot and some of it seemed like fluff and B.S. but I know that's how chiropractors can be. 3) He didn't crack my back (which I was hoping for) just my neck so I was a bit disappointed Will I be back? I'm on the fence with this one. I've been to a few chiropractors and each has their own technique. I'm not sure his technique compliments my style so I may be shopping around for another chiropractor... I've been to some chiropractors and I feel like a new person after the session. With this appt, it wasn't a noticeable difference but then again this is all personal opinion. read more

Dr. KHOA was amazing. Let me start off my saying I called to see if I can get a same day appointment. After calling about 7 places he said to come down and he squeezed me in right away. He provided an adjustment for only $40. Besides such an affordable rate, I and ability to accommodate me in such a short time, he was very knowledgeable. I've seen many chiros in my lifetime and they all say the same, that I have lots of issues and it can't be fixed with just 1 visit. I didn't tell Dr. Khoa anything and the first thing he said was don't waste money on a chiropractor I will make you feel.better this time and of you follow my instructions you will never see me again. I jave a stiff neck, he fixed it. Never had I had a muscle stimulated before either. It helped a bunch! As for my lower back he gave me knowledgeable and explanation and how to fix it myself l. His advice was, dont let anyone scare you, you are in good health. I cant explain how much I valued this visit. Tip: he also accepts many types of insurance. Thank you Dr. Khoa read more

My first visit and I was quite touched by Dr Khoa's natural warmth and old fashioned treatment. Only chiropractor to have not asked me to come for another visit ("Just stretch", "your body is fine", "call me only if you need help")! read more

My mom was actually the patient, and she cannot say enough good words about this place and Dr. Khoa. Not only did he call around to verify that he could accept her insurance, he also fit her in the same day. I believe that he was working by himself at the time we initially called. For such a busy man, he made sure to give her a proper diagnosis and treatment - all while treating her like an old friend. I also want to add that children of immigrants often struggle to find doctors who speak the same language as their parents, and fluently at that. We can translate all we want, but most of us are not medical professionals. Therefore, it was a breath of fresh air for me to know that I had left her in good hands. As she was lying down, she reported several customers walking in. At least five in the span of half an hour! This and the constant five star reviews truly shows the value of Dr. Khoa and his staff. read more

Highly recommend the doctor. Clean clinic and the doctor does not pressurize the patient to keep coming back but fixes the root of the problem. read more

I've been avoiding doctors due to covid but I recently had an injury in my neck that really needed to be seen. After some research, I called Dr. Nguyen and he answered all of the questions I had in regards to the precautions he takes for Covid. When I got there he even commended me for being cautious cause he also is concerned about Covid due to his old age. This really put me at ease about where he stands on Covid. He limits his office to one patient and wears a mask. On the phone, he stated that he disinfects the tables between each patient. I didn't see a wet table when I arrived but I did see a bottle of disinfectant by the table. Although a wet table isn't an indicator of disinfection, you need the disinfectant to fully dry to do its magic. For my neck, he gave a very deep massage, some electric and heat therapy, followed by another massage to loosen up my tight muscles. He then did one really satisfying adjustment to each side of my neck and was able to increase some mobility and decrease tension in my neck. He told me I didn't need to come back unless I am in more pain or the pain lasts longer than it should. When a chiropractor tells you something like this and makes minimal adjustments, that is a great chiro. Also, I've never found such a cheap chiropractic session and he takes most insurances. read more

Dr. Khoa is amazing!!! I can't stress enough how great he is. My husband (DH) has gone to him multiple times and leaves feeling like he's experienced a miracle. Not only is he a miracle worker, he's incredibly kind and funny. 1 - A sports injury prevented DH from being able to move his neck and the pain lasted 5 days. Went to Dr. Khoa and he left feeling brand new. 2. A week before our wedding DH felt like he tore his shoulder/neck muscle and couldn't move. He walked like Frankenstein for a few days and the pain was getting worse. Went to Dr. Khoa before checking into the ER and once again... He walked out being able to turn his head and move his neck and shoulders. We were extremely relieved he didn't have to go to the hospital 6 days before our wedding. 3. Whether its tight muscles, injuries, or gym pain, go see Dr. Khoa! Don't prolong your pain and schedule an appointment with him. read more

Came and scheduled an appointment same day. I had back and neck tightness from lifting heavy ass weights in the gym. Came in and he went right to work, cracked the shit out of my back and neck. Next day in the gym I felt like I could squat 405 for reps. And he said I should be good for a while. I was able to use my insurance through Kaiser. He accepts Apple Pay too which is cool especially with the virus going on. read more

The doctor was amazing. I messed up my back severely exactly a week ago from today and I received a prescription for painkillers from the family doctor and it helped with the pain on the surface, but not with the actual root of the cause (the muscle strains). I have a high tolerance for pain, but this this strain on my back was worse than my killer menstrual cramps inherited from my mother's genes or the UTI I got last year. I cried which never happens.. and I couldn't sleep the first night.. Anyways.. Dr Khoa Nguyen is sweet, professional, and genuine. This was my first time to a chiropractor. Both of my parents and one of my little brothers has been to his office and they loved him.. and I don't always like the doctors my parents like so this says a lot.. He takes most insurance I believe. He cracked my back, put those electrode things on my back.. He found the knot in my back that I just got this morning waking up (without even telling him about it get) and he got it out! And he cracked my neck muscles. He doesn't try to rip you off or anything or from what I gathered. He told me I could come back whenever if I liked or if I get better than I wouldn't have to, he said maybe one more visit is required, but not necessarily. I feel a lot better.. I don't believe I could've gotten out of the house right from the start.. but if I went to him early on, perhaps my back would've gotten better faster. Oh and he has a sense of humor and he does like to converstate (not sure if it was at times to distract me or not as he was cracking my neck). He is really interesting so I would encourage you to conversate back. He told me he approves of my major and I shouldn't listen to my parents. [: I made an arrangement to see him again soon but, you can do walk-ins, he seems to make time for anyone. [: There were no cons except my chubby cheeks finally hurt after being on the electrodes for long, but honestly you can't except fluffffyyy seaters to be on, people need to get their backs flattened/cracked/etc.. Totally recommend. read more

I hurt my back in CrossFit and came to here to address my pain and have it looked at. Dr. Khoa was thorough, articulate, extremely honest, and professional. They take Kaiser insurance so you only need to pay co-pay. The original Milpitas chiropractor clinic I booked only provided discount for those insured through Kaiser, so I saved more than $140 by canceling the original spot and coming here. The clinic is clean, they fit me in the same day, and once arrived they saw me quickly. To be honest, I'm a bit wary of some chiropractors, but after the doctor asked me a series of questions, had me explain where my pain was, reviewed the area, his assessment was my pain was more muscle related. He treated it, and then told me that I didn't need to come back. I've seen some shady chiropractors "amplify" problems so they can get business back and he did not do that. He's highly trustworthy as well as explains things in a very clear, simple, but educational way. I felt compelled to leave a review, because I was so appreciative of his honesty and that I could tell he was highly experienced and knew what he was talking about. My lower back already feels better and I'm hoping I don't run into the issue again, but if I ever do, I'm definitely coming back here. read more

Called them and they took me in right away. The chiropractor is very, very good at what he does. I highly recommend this place

If you're anything like me you research anything and everything. I've been searching for a chiropractor for quite some time now Since hurting my lower back 2 years ago. I've been to sport medicine doctors as well physical therapy they both told me that there wasn't anything that they'd be able to do for me besides pain management and medication. I took it for what it was and moved on. Until today were I just couldn't take it anymore and decided to call Dr. Khoa Nguyen who saw me the same day! I am so glad for that not only was Dr. Nguyen knowledgeable and informative but empathetic he truly cared and listened. Didn't recommend anything more than what I needed, (one visit) truly astonishing I feel like I haven't walked this good in two years! If you're looking for an amazing chiropractor who listens and takes the time to really find out what's happening with your body he is the best! read more

I have been going to Dr.Nguyen for 3 months now (once a month) for my neck pain. He is incredible. He fixes the issue in just one visit and asks not to return unless I am in too much pain. He mainly emphasizes on exercising and not the regular follow ups as opposed to other chiropractors. Its really hard to find a good and genuine chiropractor in the Bay Area. I was in search of a chiro like him for over a year. But it was always a miss. Everyone was as usual asking for follow-ups twice a week (I have been been to a good chiropractor in other state prior for 2 years). I highly recommend Dr.Nguyen if you are in search of a genuine and caring chiropractor. read more

I live in Milpitas and was looking for a chiropractor for my muscle knot. I called Dr. Khoa Nguyen, and I said I could come at 12 noon. He took me in as I was working lunch hour worked out well. Exercising my shoulders and neck every so often, my pain has reduced so much I would love to recommend him to you all. If you need a chiropractor excellent one is here in Milpitas. Thank you. Dr. Nguyen is one of the best chiro I have visited till now, a very knowledgeable person and he truly cares. I came in with stiff neck and back and his treatment made me feel better, I asked if I need to come again and he said if he did his work correctly I would not have to come back, I really liked this, as most of the chiros out there are only trying to squeeze more money by asking you to come for unnecessary follow ups. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nguyen. read more

Honestly, before my first visit, i was quite skeptical of chiropractors. I've always had this fear that when they "crack" your head or knuckles, one would fall off. But Dr. Khoa Nguyen has restored my faith in chiropractic services. He's genuine and quite funny actually. He knows and expresses a genuine passion for his profession! He also made good recommendations for me to follow at home. He's truly talented! He made my shoulder pain go away! During the treatment session, he placed a massage blanket over my shoulders. OMG that thing digs its claws into you skin and it hurts!! But it helps a lot! I often go to foot massages when my body aches. No more! I come here now because at least when Dr. Nguyen "cracks" (adjusts) my neck, it's done properly! I highly recommend this chiropractor! He's part of a lot of health networks. All you (not your insurance company) have to pay is your copay, which is cheaper than any foot massages in the Bay Area. read more

Dr. Nguyen was awesome. He was direct to the point where my issue was. I felt relief right away after the adjustment. He is not like most chiro to deplete your coverage. I picked Dr. Nguyen because he was close to my home. He is very thorough explaining the cause of my lower back pain and made suggestions to remedy the issue after I recalled my medical history. After getting rubbed down with an ointment, I spent 45 minutes with heat and vibrating blankets on my back. Afterwards, he rubbed me down again with an ointment and adjusted my lower back. I feel much better now and can walk without stiffness and pain . My pain threshold went from an 8 to 1. After this initial appointment, I am very optimistic that the coming therapies will alleviate or eliminate this debilitating back issue. read more

I cannot give Dr Nguyen enough stars...amazing work! My husband has been suffering from neck stiffness/pain for about a week now. I called the office and Dr Nguyen said come in any time this afternoon and we will get him in. We arrived to a wonderful sense of humor and to a massage/adjusting that did the trick! I've been to chiropractors before and they set you up for every other day return visits, Dr Nguyen said come back if you need to but I don't expect you back. I will come here the next time my back goes out and I know for a fact my husband will be back if he has any issues!! Thank You Dr Nguyen!! read more
