I can't explain how much angry this place made me and how I regret coming here for my immigration documents, the staff is has the WORST communication I've ever seen!!!! Asked for blood work and never sent the order to the lab, when I got to the lab I had to wait more than an hour for the lab lady to no able to get the order from them. Got my exams and all papers ready and they emailed me to go get the package at the office. They changed address, didn't notice no one, I left work earlier to go grab my package to find out that they moved. Drove to the new place got there 15 minutes before closing time to find out they just decided to close way before the right time just because... because I was literally calling since 40 minutes before and no answer ever! The clinic is very inefficient in terms of the services provided, will not recommend this place to anyone at all. My very first visit was an annual physical with Dr. Parikh and they asked me get some blood work done as part of the visit. My second visit was a virtual visit (doctor showed up late by 15 mins) which in actual took 5 mins and the clinic has billed my insurance as a general office visit instead and the amount billed was obscene ! They have sent me an invoice as they have a very messed up billing system. I don't understand how the billing system works, I tried calling them up and they unable to clarify why the second visit (i.e followup visit) was charged as a diagnostic visit. My insurance provider requested to refile the claim under preventive issues which they refused, It is appalling how they are charging their patients ! Please stay away from this doctor. read more

I went there with chronic pain in my right leg. After waiting for an hour ( this seems like a theme with every doctor) he saw me touched my leg for 1 sec and said, tight IT ban physiotherapy. I also wanted to do a regular exam and he tells me to get a few tests as he is walking out. There is no explanation for the tests or anything. The physiotherapy went well but the physiotherapist had to go on vacation 2 weeks later. I was informed about this in my second session, the next week and the session was cut short. No follow-ups, no reexamination. No suggestion to go to other physio. The test results came back and were released to me. Never got a followup from the doctor but I could see the report which said everything was fine. I thought to myself that probably nothing is wrong so they dont need to contact me. 3 months after I get an email that your tests suggest that something is abnormal. Do you want to come for a visit. Umm, what? I took 3 months for you to examine it? Or this was just trying to get more business from people you have contact information about. Would never go there again. read more

The actual appointment was great, and I felt I had a good experience with Dr. Parikh and his PA. However, I asked that my visit be billed as a preventive checkup rather than an office visit (since it was really just an exam), since my insurance covers 100% of the check up cost. I confirmed this during my visit that it would be billed this way. I got a bill 1.5 months later for the visit, and the billing folks refuse to bill it as a preventive check up. The practice needs to confirm how a visit is being billed at the time of the appointment so that patients don't get surprise bills like this. read more

I had appointment with Dr. Parikh for my frozen shoulder as a result of rotator cuff tendinitis (4 years back). I was made to wait for around 45 minutes beyond my scheduled time. Then Dr. Parikh came to greet me. After I told him about my condition and about the extreme pain, he did not even bother looking at my shoulder nor did any kind of tests. He simply told me 3 basic arm lifting movements which I had been doing the same for last 1 month but it was not doing any good. I requested him for MRI but he said it's not necessary. Then after spending around 30 seconds, he told me to visit his clinic after one week for the second session. I felt I spent my time and money for nothing. I always thought doctors genuinely take care of their patients. With heavy heart I left that place. And that was the last time I ever stepped in that facility. read more

Please read the reviews if you plan to have annual physical here! I had a bad experience in terms of billing, just like few others who went for an annual physical at Dr. Parikh's office. I went for an annual physical checkup in April 2018 which is covered 100% by my insurance. However, just like others, I was asked to visit after couple of weeks, for a second time, as a follow up on explanation of my blood report done as part of annual physical. As I could not visit his office, we did a video meeting. Dr Parikh's billing department has now billed $175 after 5 months and asking me to pay out of pocket for something that I do not need to pay anything. I spoke to my insurance and they said since it is billed as 'office visit' rather than 'preventive care'. So they cannot reimburse. Very unprofessional approach! read more

I have been going to my old primary care doctor for years, even though I hardly ever go to the doctors. However, I wasn't happy with my doctor and maybe that's a reason why I hardly ever go. Now that I have my own insurance and didn't have to rely on my mom anymore, so I decided to go find myself a new primary care doctor. I read a lot of reviews and did some research because I am super picky about pretty much everything. But finally, I found DR. NEESHEET PARIKH! .: What I like about this doctor :. First, it is fairly easy to make an appointment with him. I just went to Zocdoc to make an appointment and filled out all the papers online, which was a big time saver for me. His office is easy to find and parking was also easy. My other doctor would schedule his patients every 15 minutes, so I often felt rushed, but with Dr. Parikh, I didn't feel rushed at all. I had more than enough time to discuss what I needed as well as what I wanted. On top of that, he uses the extra time to really get to know me as his patient and just as a regular person. He makes it so that I can be as comfortable around him and really open up to discuss what I needed. You have to admit. We don't always walk into a new doctor's office and discuss every single personal concerns that we may have. I'm glad that I was comfortable enough to talk about anything. And he makes sure you know that you don't have to talk or answer any of his questions or do anything unless you are completely comfortable. I can see that Dr. Parikh really cares about his patient. He took care of all my concerns and needs and really found ways to help me. I brought up a topic and he always explains to me what it might be, what caused it to happen, how to fix it, and what cautions to take. We pretty much talked about everything I wanted to talk about. He is very patient and is such a good listener. I feel like I can talk to him about anything. Another reason as to why he's a great doctor is because he really cares about his patients. He goes out of his ways to help his patient because his patient's health is basically his number one priority. I first payed a visit to his office for many reasons, but one happens to be this constant ache in my neck. He worked on it and explained why it hurts and how to relieve it. A week or so later, he sent me emails to check and see how my neck was doing and if there was anything else I needed. He sent me to go get my labwork done, but I get lazy so he constantly sends me an email to remind me to go. Normally, other doctors don't care if you go or not, but doctor Parkih encourages you to go so that he can see if there is anything wrong and can give you medical advice. I thought that was really caring and nice. Also, if you have any questions or concern, you can email him as well! Overall, I definitely recommend Dr. Parikh for those who are looking or are in need of a good doctor. Seriously though, he is such a really good and caring doctor. Dr Parikh is great. He's been taking care of sports injuries for my daughters for the past several years and recently I started to see him as my own GP. For my daughters, he routinely finds solutions that other doctors miss. For me, I like how he takes the time and has a holistic angle to his care. He is highly available (e.g., via email, text or even Skype when needed) and not just someone who you see live in 10-minute slices in the office. In addition, he uses a lot of the latest technologies (e.g., activity bands, wifi scales, bluetooth blood pressure machines) to gather a bunch of data about you in order to better inform his decision making. read more

So we booked an appointment using zocdoc as recommended by their website and got an appt for 11.15 today. There were a couple of people already waiting at that point when we got there around 11.10. We waited around until 12 and were still not summoned in! The person who was in front of us with an appt at 11 had been waiting much longer than us, it seemed and even she wasn't summoned in by 12! This is so unprofessional and disappointing. We came all the way to seek some help for an ankle sprain that my wife has been dealing with. This seemed like a clear case of overbooking as they allow you to book appointments in 15 minute intervals. They weren't even remotely apologetic when we asked to cancel the appt. Seemed like this happens quite regularly. Don't accept appointments at every 15 minute interval if you can't service them. What kind of therapy can you do in 15 mins!? Our time is just as valuable as yours ! We have used this doctor's services in the past, and have had billing issues with them but the service has been fine, but never again! read more

Dr Parikh and Staff were nice and polite... but they can definitely be more emphatic and on their game when a patient is in pain.... Here it goes: I go in at 1:15 pm for a lower back pain with some shooting in my legs, wait time was 30 minutes which is not terrible... I do mention pain is not letting me rest or sleep and Dr Parikh says he will prescribe a muscle relaxer so I can sleep. I leave the office but go back in to ask a follow up question.. Admin asks, "Where is your pharmacy by the way?" (they forgot to ask). I provide pharmacy info and go home.. no call from CVS and I check a couple of times with CVS... I call the Dr office at 4:55 pm to say I have not received the meds and leave a voice mail. Next morning around 9 am I call a second time, [Admin] "Oh yes Ali, I got your VM, when the Dr comes in I ask him to send the med to pharamacy." [Me] "Is there a reason it didn't go in there yesterday?" [Admin] "Something must have gone wrong, it sometimes happens". (!!!). [Me] "When does the Dr come in, can you call me back when the order is sent in? [Admin] "In about 1/2 hour. Yes." Nothing until 2 pm.. I call back.... [Admin] "When the Dr came I told him to send it in" (!!) [Me] CVS has not contacted me, so the med is not sent in. [Admin] "I'll check with him again." [Me] "Can you call me back once it's done?" [Admin] "Yes". I get a call around 3 pm that medicine order was sent to CVS. CVS gives me an automated call 20 minutes later that prescription is ready for pick up. They literally "Didn't feel my pain"! :) ================ Follow-up: I got a call this morning from Dr. Parikh expressing his care and that they have their patients in mind. He explained how working with CVS can be complicated and inefficient. Regardless if that is true or not, I appreciate the call, he also asked how I am doing and offered to prescribe me other medicine that could help me further. I am changing the start from 1 to 2... but still, pain is pain... please show your care by getting your patients what they need. read more

this is scam. I had small knee injury and Dr. Parikh had me just keep doing PT for almost 7 months even though it was not recovering. Physical therapy costed me more than $1500 which went to his clinic of-course. When I visited another dr in India, he treated me with PRP treatment and I could see result in less than one month. For young person like me he made me keep coming to PT and didn't treat me right probably to get more money out of their physical therapy business. On top of that office keeps generating wrong bills and charge exorbant money. This review is so long overdue. Dr. Parikh is the go-to general physician and sports medicine expert in SC/SJ/SV. Especially if you work/live near the Great America/101/Central Exp. area. They have onsite physical, massage and other sports-med related services . Plus a bunch of other things like allergy testing and tele-med services. I started going there several years ago because my knees hurt, my blood pressure was high, I was depressed and anxious, plus it was becoming harder to exercise with a crazy-busy schedule and knees that made me wince in pain. Dr. Parikh and his staff understands how Silicon Valley life can take a toll on you. Especially the long hours sitting in meetings, commuting, traveling, or just sitting/standing at your desk. If you are like me, and you're run or do some other strenuous sport on the weekends; It sucks when you can't do it anymore without twisted pain. It's depressing. I knew my knees were getting worse, it was painful going up stairs and my knee was popping out, which is extremely painful. Several months ago, I started seeing their physical therapy team (Miral, Ashoo & Nikki) to strengthen muscles around my knees. This is important because if you run a lot and don't strengthen certain peripheral muscles, you will eventually wear down your cartilage. It basically stops you from running and other fun stuff I like to do. They diagnosed and treated my knees, dealt with a strange bout of sciatica and then pushed the approval through my insurance for an experimental treatment (according to my insurance) that I can only described at a liquid knee replacement. Left knee is done and it is truly amazing. Once the other knee is done, I hope to be back to running again. I am happier, healthier and deal with the stress so much better. I would have given 0 star if I have the choice. I saw Dr. Parikh in June 2006 for a annual physical check-up, which should be fully paid by my insurance as it's preventative care. However, he decided to bill my insurance as office visit and forced me to visit him for a second time so that he can charge the second visit as physical check-up. I ended up having to pay a few hundreds out of pocket for something that I do not need to pay a penny if I go to any doctor whose name isn't Neesheet Parikh. After dozens of calls, lost count of number of emails, and I even went to his office once to talk to him. Promises after promises and I still get no refund from him. It has been over 9 months now, and he decided to totally ignore my email now. It's really hard to believe such behavior from a doctor. I saw Dr. Parikh for the first time in June of 2018 (10 months ago). The healthcare service I received was fine but the billing support was not. For my first appointment they billed me 3x for the same appointment, twice in-network and once out-of-network. Confused by these charges I eventually paid two of the three, after being instructed by my insurance agent not to pay the third. That was in October of 2018. I have been trying to get a refund for my overpayment ever since. The odd part of course is that Dr. Parikh's office, Foundercare, *agrees* that I overpaid. And according to them they have "tried" to refund my money but I still don't have it. My insurance agent has left them many voice mails and has been hounding them for over two months on my behalf. Nothing. If I get them on the phone myself they are helpful and polite...they just don't give me my money, even though they agree I'm owed it. Good luck getting quality care with Neesheet Parikh. He is running a business and not a medical practice where he cares about his patients. You will have to do most of the leg work trying to get them to do what they should do without you asking. He will always be late and you can wait for more than an hour. I have had blood work done twice and labcorp informed me it was sent to my doctor and it will be released to me days later to give my doctor a chance to discuss it with me before I see it. Good luck if you expect this guy to go over your lab work like you expect. The first time I waited a month with no follow up to my bloodwork and when I called they said you need an appointment for him to talk to you about your lab work. Wow, okay. I made an appointment and I'm sure they will charge me for it which is crazy to me. During that appointment he provided me with another lab order to get bloodwork. When my results went to my doctor, again I got no call from the doctors office. I got my order and things were off with my bloodwork and for someone who can't understand it, it seems scary. WARNING - think twice before seeing Neesheet Parikh, DO I'm avid athlete, with a couple of Ironman races done. I mentioning this because over the last 10 years I have seen many doctors and chiropractors to treat different sport injuries, etc... BUT I never got injured by one of them till Dr. Parikh treated me and did muscle-bone manipulation last week. That same evening after the treatment I felt something was wrong with my neck and hip, from there it just kept going south till I had to go to the ER to get a pain killer shot because I couldn't move. I have taken my children to see Dr. Parikh on numerous occasions. We absolutely LOVE his bedside manner! He is very patient and considerate. He takes all the time needed to address our questions and never makes us feel rushed. These qualities set him apart from other doctors. A while afterwards, there were still no results in the online portal and I reached out via email and asked how I could view them. I was told they had the results and I needed (!) to come and pick them up. My results were good and nothing needed to be discussed. A while later I discovered that for the pickup of the results I was charged with an office visit, which I never asked for! Monday was my first time visiting Dr. Parikh. I had tailbone pain for a few days and wanted to have it looked at. I made an appt online which was super easy and straightforward. I made the appt at 9am when the office opened. He was right on time and come to greet you immediately right when I walked in. He took his time and explained to me what may have caused the pain. Dr. Parikh is awesome. He is a very kind and caring doctor, and my only complaint is that I wish he lived in New York so I could see him for all my medical problems! I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know. I was in the Bay Area for work and needed to see a doctor for a head injury I had sustained a few days prior. I was referred to Dr Parikh by a radiologist in the area and was able to get a same day appointment. During the appointment, Dr Parikh was really nice, listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He was able to diagnose me with a concussion and provide advice on how to speed up the recovery (what to do / what not to do). He also provided a worksheet I could fill out to track my progress, since head injuries are difficult to measure. He gave me an honest opinion about whether he thought I needed a brain scan - I really felt like he was giving me advice about what was best for me, instead of just recommending all the expensive procedures. I also felt like he was truly compassionate and understanding of my situation (being in a stressful work environment, having to fly home to NYC later in the week, etc.) I saw Dr Parikh on a Tuesday. When I returned home at the end of the week I had a couple follow up questions and he called me Friday evening after his work day to speak with me and address my concerns. I cannot articulate how appreciative I am of Dr Parikh's help - he is the only doctor I've ever had that I don't dread seeing or speaking to! A few other things that really made a difference: - The receptionist was super nice and she made me feel really comfortable, which was important for me since I don't live in the area and was a new patient. She was also very nice and understanding on the phone when I called to follow up - The office is really well organized, and the patient rooms have sofas and don't feel oppressive like most do - The office is pretty tech forward which I appreciated over the usual clunky computers and answering the same questions 3x that I'm used to Thank you again to the Foundercare team!! read more

Sadly, I had a similar experience to that reported by Nicholas. I had been very happy with Dr. Parikh when I first visited him, but in the last year, things have changed dramatically. First, I had a very painful infection while I was traveling. Since Dr. Parikh is my primary care physician, I called him for a prescription. I did not receive a call back for several days and only after multiple calls...I was in pain! Then, I went in to see him at the beginning of March for a physical, which seemed like a pretty simple, straight-forward appointment. I had blood drawn, yet I received no results. I called several times over the month, including one time speaking directly to Dr. Parikh, who told me he would call me with the result. Still NOTHING. One of the results may explain I've been having for over a year, one time landing me in the hospital, but apparently this wasn't important enough to call me when the results came to him. Finally, after a month, the receptionist sent me the results with no explanation of any of the abnormal readings. I contacted them yet again and was told to setup an appointment. I live in Florida. I'm not going to pay for the followup on the appointment already paid for. All I need to know is what the results mean and next steps.
