Just went in for dinner with my wife, have not been there in a few years. I asked about the Chef Matt. Apparently he isn't there anymore? The cheerful attitude of the server we had did not save us from having a hell of a bad experience. As we sat for perhaps for 40 plus minutes, we kept noticing that we were being watched by an elderly gentleman. He was wandering about with a glass of red wine. He kept pacing around and glancing at my wife, making her un conformable. We asked our server who he was, and they replied that it was the owner. After finishing our salads, my wife said we should leave because the way the owner kept staring at her, which in my opinion is un professional and disguising. The food was really good but not good for the price point. It was really weird to be seated then need to go to counter and order. The food was brought out in a very timely manner. When the salads where first brought out there was no silverware given and had to ask for it. So it was a little disorganized in that way. The staff was really friendly though. The resteraunt is deceivingly large. I had no idea that there was a bar inside it. Anyways, pizza is really good. Ordered the 800 degree pizza. Tastes fresh and like an actual pizza and not something that will make me sick or regret that I ate it. read more

This business is in an excellent location and a very upscale, new building. The parking is behind the building and while it is a minor detail, it adds a bit of uniqueness to the overall experience. 800 Degrees Three Fires is a sister business to 800 Degrees Wood Fires. 800 Degrees Three Fires is an upscale pizza restaurant. This restaurant serves unique and regular pizzas, an arrangement of Italian appetizers, and an array of desserts. The pizzas are cooked in wood fire ovens or a wood hearth. This is where the name Three Fires comes from. The way the pizzas are cooked makes this business stand out. The hearth and ovens give the pizza a fresh taste. 800 Degrees Three Fires is a sit-down restaurant offering small plates, wood grilled entrees, and unique pizzas. There were more positive aspects to my visits than negative. I have visited this restaurant twice and both were very enjoyable. The service was very good and impressive. Both times I went the restaurant was very busy and packed. There was never more than a 10 minute wait to be seated. The restaurant itself is very classy and clean. There is a lot of seating available and there is no "bad seat" in the restaurant. After ordering the pizzas arrived fairly quickly and were hot and freshly baked. I tried a few different types of pizza each time I was there. There are a variety of different combinations to order from. It is possible to order one pizza per person or order one for two people. I tried 3 different pizzas the times that I was there and they were all very good and each had unique flavors and tastes to them. Each pizza listed is different and there is a pizza to fit everyone's different wants. Another positive side to this restaurant was that there were a lot of people working at the same time. If a customer needed help there was never any trouble finding a kind waiter or waitress to help. While the overall experience was very enjoyable there were a few things I would possibly change. Even though the service was very good and quick, there were times it was too quick. The waiters would be very busy and very quick and it was a little bit on the unprofessional side. There was one instance where the waitress was dealing with three tables and brought two of the wrong drinks. The only thing I would change would be the waitress' amount of work. As I said above, there were more than enough workers there but not all of them were doing anything to help the waitress' out. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere is suitable for all ages and types of people. There are many different unique versions of pizza but they also have the traditional pizzas as well. This restaurant would be good for kids and families, couples, business dinners, or teens going out for the night. The fact that this restaurant is so versatile and able to appease all different types of people is what I love most about 800 Degrees Three Fires. There were way more positives to my visits than negatives. This is a restaurant I would go to for a Friday night date, a night out with friends, a family dinner, a work gathering, or just a night I didn't feel like cooking. There is nothing I would change about the restaurant itself. The business seems very well organized and is run very well. The workers were all very upbeat and happy. It is a kind atmosphere and very family friendly. 800 Degrees Three Fires gets a five star rating in my book. This review only addresses the service, not the quality of the food, which is usually very good. . I took my children out to eat on 3/26/2016, and after being seated, we waited over 10 minutes and were never greeted by a server. There were at least half a dozen open tables, so it didn't seem that busy. So, we left. It was a very disappointing experience. read more

We used to love 800 Degrees Pizza, but a few months ago my wife and I stopped in for lunch, now all be it, it was after lunch, but our pizzas were overdone and when you are making thin crust this becomes crackers and a loss in flavor. She had a gluten free margarita pizza and I had the rocket. We said probably not return unless friends wanted. Well, last week friends wanted to go so we went along. Great beer selection, the service, both times was wonderful, though the pizza was better this time, I again had the Rocket which was cooked better and my wife had the gluten free margarita pizza, still lacking. The Rocket pizza was good and I way enjoyed it compared to last time, but my wife's pizza was very salty, almost granular. Again, probably return if the group wants, but might not be my first selection. I really like the atmosphere and the people are great and maybe we hit it at a bad time, but just somewhat disappointed. read more

We braved a snowstorm the day after Christmas to come here for dinner. We were all getting cabin fever and my parents love this place. We had eaten at their sister restaurant last year during a visit and thought it was solid. There were 5 of us dining this time. We were one of only a few tables due to the weather. I enjoyed the large dining tables and the room with the view of the large pizza ovens and kitchen. The place was very clean and the decor was pleasing. We started with an eggplant parmesan and a meatball appetizer to share with the table. Everyone loved the eggplant and most of the table liked the meatballs, but my husband and I thought they had too much fennel. It was overpowering. The sauce they came in was very good and we sopped it up with the perfectly chewy and hot bread they served on the side. My mom had the Mista salad. It is a good, fresh and clean salad that is not too heavy on dressing. Again though, I picked off some shaved fennel and raw red onion...two things I never like but my mom loves. For entrees my husband and dad got a sausage and beef ragu special. My dad enjoyed it with added marinara, but my husband and I did not care for the flavor. There was not enough sauce and I cannot even explain the strange aftertaste....sour maybe? Our server was awesome though and gave my husband a pepperoni pizza with spinach on the house. When it came out we devoured it. Think hot cheese, perfectly dressed sauce, a generous amount of fresh spinach and mini pepperonis, and a crust that leaves you wanting more. My uncle and mother got the 4 cheese and mushroom pizzas. The 4 cheese tasted like soap to me, but everyone else liked it. Overall I would come back as you can tell this restaurant uses quality ingredients, takes pride in their product and tries to source local for specials as they can. I think we just had some misses on our order, but overall their pizza is well worth the trip! read more

Great new addition to the SW! We went one week after opening. The place was bustling and the staff was hustling. Drinks arrived pronto and refills were politely and promptly replaced. The restaurant is owned by the folks who own 800 Degrees on Lima Rd. although the menu is slightly different. I prefer the toppings of the north restaurant (grilled veggies and mushrooms of a higher, more gourmet caliber). At this new place, there is the same attention to freshness and presentation, and the pies have great texture--- chewy and nutty dough without char or grease, fresh out of the oven. Because they are not soaked in grease, the pizza stays chewy and tasty the next day. Salads come with an invigorating vinaigrette. We had bruschetta as the appetizer--- a heaping platter of tomato, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and crusty Italian bread deluciousness. Desserts consist of an orange flavored olive oil cake (like a bread pudding with an Italian accent) and a Neapolitan gelato. You won't even have room for dessert, but the cake is worth loosening the belt a notch. Great for families and dates, though a bit noisy. read more

It's just another gimmicky chain restaurant. The food was not my favorite. The price tag did not help either. Service was okay, but they only had to bring us the food. Last night, my friends and I were in Fort Wayne, IN. One of them, a native of the town, decided to take us to 800 Degrees. We were sat quickly and waited for about five minutes for our server to arrive and offer us drinks. We decided on what to eat and after the ordeal, the server suggested we try the veggie pizza, which was puzzling because everything we ordered had meat on it. Our Fort Waynian friend requested the crust be a little extra crispy and the server said it wasn't possible because of "the logistics with the ovens." ...okay. Our food arrived in a reasonably timely fashion. It wasn't bad. The crust could've been a little more cooked though (ugh) and not so doughy (ugh). Maybe just heat the oven up a little more? I know you boast using wood fired ovens, but c'mon, they aren't that complicated. Finally after the pizza, our friend asked to see the dessert menu. "Well, um, the kitchen is closed." Seriously? Our wallets are still open and your shutting it off to the world. Any restaurant would keep the kitchen open if there are still guests, or at least let the guest know when the kitchen is closing. But I digest...we got the bill. While we were waiting to pay, I decided to smoke a cigarette. My friends started making fun of me for being a smoker so I walked outside to resume my shameful addiction. A I exited, our server attempted to pander to my shame by explaining how, he too, used to "roll his own bugler." That's great. So there you have it. If you want a pizza place that can only cook it one way, closes the kitchen without making sure your satisfied and hires servers with severe addictions, 800 degrees is for you. read more

The restaurant does NOT have vegan mozzarella. They really shouldn't advertise on their menu that they do if it isn't true. Apparently not a vegan restaurant. read more
