Perfectly cooked and the flavor was perfect. It was thin, light, crunchy crust but not too crunchy, dough nice and soft at the same time. Highly recommend it. Pasta: A bit underwhelming. I felt it could use more sauce and a bit more flavor as it was bland. Portion was decent. The pork should have been cooked more as it was chewy and in a carbonara, i expect the pork to be a tad crispier. Dessert: I am a tiramisu fanatic and I was disappointed when i took a bite of it as it was more like a slice of cake pretending to be a tiramisu. It was yummy but i would not consider this a slice of tiramisu. You can see in my last photo where you see the cake style parts of it. While i do love strawberries, they were an odd touch considering it's supposed to be tiramisu and not a slice of coffee, chocolate flavored cake. Overall i believe that we overpaid for dinner. If i were to return, I would probably just stick to the pizza. I love that they have vegan and gluten free options so that's a plus but other than that, i can't say i will be returning soon. How can you live in the Fort and not visit the original Spring Street location that was founded by Lexy Demetroff since 1957? Well...I've now checked that one off my bucket list! I ordered a medium Everything pizza around 4:30p on a busy Friday evening. They quoted me a 40 minute wait time...and they were spot on. Lexy's pizza menu and prices are typical of most non-budget pizza places. They offer deep dish pizzas as well. The Spring street location is small with ample parking in the back. There is thin table that lines two walls with bar stools. I suppose you could eat in. However carry out is most common. The kitchen is wide open to the entry way. You can watch the pizza artisans doing their craft. I found the team here to be very friendly and welcoming while focusing on pizza making. In my first trip to Lexy's I found the pizza to be quite delicious. The crust is thin. The edges are crispy - yes, really crisp. The underside in the middle of the pizza was soft and nicely baked. No obvious added flavoring to the crust. Pretty much a plain flour dough. Lexy's motto is "Generous portions, Quality ingredients"...and that is what I found. The toppings were piled high on a bed of ground up American sausage. The rest of the meats and vegetables were plentiful and tasty. The toppings were held in place by a thick bed of fresh mozzarella cheese. The pizza is well baked as evidenced by the crispy edges and "frico" browned cheese. The browned and slightly crispy cheese added a different taste to the oozing bed of mozzarella that was below the surface. The sauce was not as prominent as I hoped. The toppings dominated the taste. The bit of sauce I could detect was slightly sweet and had a good tomato taste. The whole pizza was nicely moist. You pick up a good blend of different ingredient tastes. Cold Pizza Test - the next morning the cold pizza tasted almost exactly like the pizza from the night before - delicious! The pizza was still very moist. The crust was still very crispy. The flavor from the toppings did tend to faded a little.

She didn't seem to know how to respond when asking if everything was okay and received a no answer. WHY do people ask that when they don't know how to properly respond?? After consulting other management, 50% of the spaghetti was removed and my daughter received a lecture on how to better handle their bad food and service in the future, EVER THOUGH THEIR WAITRESS DID KNOW THEIR POLICY. We did get a card for free HALF order of just average breadsticks on our next visit. (We won't be taking them up on that less than generous offer.) A 12" pizza, fettuccine with shrimp, spaghetti and meatball and okay bread was $100, but it did included mediocre service and a lecture. You can find 800 Degrees in the east end of the strip mall behind the Starbucks/across Lima from Walmart. It's a large and open restaurant with a small bar area. There is a smaller patio for your outside dining option. They have a similar menu and pricing compared to other places like them. We find their salads to be very tasty and consistent. The team here is always friendly and hustled to serve you. The free warm/soft chocolate chip cookies found at the bar are a nice parting gift. In this occasion we ordered a 12 inch Supremo pizza for $17.85. The flour tasting crust is soft on the inside with crispy wood fired texture on the edges. The bottom is firmer without being crunchy. The toppings are fresh. The mushrooms, green peppers and onions have a slight crunch. The pepperoni and sausage have nice meat flavors and a hit of spiciness. Not much cheese. The tomato sauce definitely has a bolder tomato taste. Though the sauce is not applied very thick or plentiful. Cold Pizza Test - the crust got a little more firm and chewy, but not overbearingly. This is a joke right? While the pizzas were good (not as good as their Neopolitan), $51 is laughable and frankly insulting. Wow, this is some "bold" customer price gouging and should piss-off anyone that orders their GF pizza... Albeit I wouldn't expect anything less coming from the guy that treats his customers like ill repute. Needless to say, we are officially done with 800 Degrees... From bad customer treatment to getting bent by over like a cheap Vegas hooker via price gouging, 800 Degrees and its pompous owner can get bent. This is such a travesty because 800 Degrees is an outstanding pizzeria, but there are other solid pizzerias in Fort Wayne that deserve our business because they don't do either of the above. The meatball often broke apart which made it easier to put on the small crispy pieces of bread chips. I didn't detect much seasoning in the meatball...at least not enough to make it stand out. The bread chips were plentiful but very crispy and hard. Overall these items were okay...but not particularly appealing. I'm hopeful that their pizza selections are outstanding.
