This is my first time rating car washing service. In short, for car-wash I think it's fair to rate either a 5-star, 3-star, or 1-star. 5 star means they did a passable or bang-up job (pun not intended). 3 star for maybe they made few errors, or they charged too much. 1-star if they just sucked, and it's time to revisit where to car wash. So I think the rating's fair. The photos speak for themselves I think. That PLUS -- I drive a Tesla! I bought it recently, so it pretty new. I was nervous to get car washing anywhere -- prior to Three Cees, I had ONLY EVER HAND-WASH !!! But it was winter, and there came snow in VA, twice at least (yay!), and even though I park inside usually, stuff gets on car. If not falling snow, it's snow blowing your way from the cargo bed of an idiot's moving pick-up truck in front of you, or dirt puddles on road you run over, so on. So i don't gotta the time to hand wash that -- it's a seasonal thing, wear and tear on exterior. So I need it washed and pronto! In short, I let the photos speak for me. For $18, I think they done an OK job. Pretty solid. One general tip, remember to turn on Car Wash mode if your car has it, and enable "free rolling" mode so tires move along. I would come here again if my car was much dirtier again (though I hope not!) Anyway, Three Cees is now my go-to auto-car wash service to ever use "in a pinch".

Still the best car wash around dmv. Hand wax cost $175 for bmw x6. Which included light interior clean.

I divorced my last car wash bc they consistently did a mediocre job so I decided to give Three Cees a shot. I arrived around 11am on a sunny day and it wasn't crowded at all. The outside cashier was friendly and when I asked him if it was possible to have an employee drive my car through (I literally hate driving through those car washes) he said it was and gave me instructions. A gentleman assisted and allowed me to wait inside while he drove my car through :) Once the exterior wash was done they began to thoroughly clean the interior taking their time to ensure it was spotless. Upon the employees completing the interior the Manager / Owner then inspected the entire cleaning both inside and outside and he touched up any areas that he felt needed a quick wipe, dry or more vacuuming, I have never in my life seen an inspection like this happen to ensure quality service was provided, WOW! I think I may have found my new car wash!

The only establishment I will go to get a fresh car wash and detail. The owner/manager is awesome and the staff provide great service. I believe the prices are well worth it and I have never left disappointed or unsatisfied of the results. The facility is clean and comfortable, and I think it's cool to see your vehicle being serviced while you're in the lounge.

Mediocre car wash. Didn't touch rear inside window or the two rear corner small windows. When I asked for the floor to be vacuumed on driver's side front carpets between console & seat, was told I needed to bring car in for a detail. Paid $40 for the Premium wash. Photos taken after car wash. Also had to ask to clean moon roof never touched unless ask. Photos are of post car wash & of front driver's side carpet & front left door inside storage area.

Just had a platinum wash on my daughter's jeep and the interior is still dirty. Hopefully it's a one off due to how busy they were. I still feel like Ali only got an exterior wash. I'm going to have to clean the interior myself.

    Handles weren't touched!

I paid $40 for the platinum package, exterior and exterior clean, and waited 45 minutes for a $10 job at best. 60% of my car wasn't even touched. They didn't have enough staff members to take on the volume they continued to accept and had 3 people checking on the cars every few minutes. Because people kept leaving the cars and not communicating what had been cleaned, a lot was missed. There was zero communication from the staff and a very unfriendly vibe. Everyone around me waiting for their car was frustrated. I've been coming here for a decade and this will most definitely be my last time.

Very poor service. It is getting worse every time. It was a great place to take my car to clean, it is not anymore.

I just tried this THREE CEE'S place after it was recommended to me by a friend, and I could not be happier.

I've spent close to $9,000 with them over the years. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend or trust this business. I paid a $600 deposit for a service I canceled a week in advance. The owner, Dave Miller, assured me the deposit would be refunded. Four months later, I'm still waiting. I've followed up at least 11 times and received nothing but empty promises and excuses. They provided no service, yet kept my money. That's not how you treat a loyal customer. I filed a BBB complaint (Case #23237895) that TLC Auto Detail never responded to, and I disputed the charge with my bank in hopes that they are able to resolve this for me. This business has completely lost my trust.

Unfortunately though I've had this bottled up for way too long and feel that it needs to be publicly shared. Additionally, I have communicated recently with 6 other people on the Tesla Northern Virginia group on Facebook who have had near-identical experiences with TLC. Buyer beware! The reason they have such good reviews is because when they mess up, they offer a refund if you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) agreeing to not post any negative reviews. They did this to me and many other people. See the full story below: I purchased a Tesla in December 2019 and scheduled with TLC to have PPF and tint installed shortly after delivery. After getting my car back from them, I was shocked at the sloppy PPF install. Pieces were peeling, edges were not cut correctly, edges were not tucked, large gaps of un-protected areas were exposed, there were bubbles everywhere, etc. It looked like they had a trainee do my entire car. I've attached pictures to this review showing the sloppy install. When I complained to TLC, they said that it was normal and that PPF was never perfect. Basically their answer was that I just needed to lower my expectations. I originally believed them and just decided I had to accept it, but it continued to get worse and began peeling even more. I took my Tesla back to them and they offered to trim off the peeling edges, but they refused to replace any of the pieces. I let them trim the edges, and all it did was make things worse and left huge gaps. I took my car to another local shop for a second opinion. They were appalled and couldn't believe what had happened. They said that PPF can indeed be installed perfectly and that this was one of the worst PPF installations they had ever seen. They removed several PPF pieces and found that TLC had scraped huge sections of my paint with a razor blade, permanently damaging the paint. My car had been completely butchered. The other PPF shop helped me coordinate with a body shop to get my car re-painted to repair all of the razor blade marks. The body shop was ALSO horrified at the terrible PPF job, so much so that the owner of the body shop called TLC's owner (Dave Miller) and insisted that Dave needed to pay for my re-paint. After some back and forth, Dave agreed. Once the painting was done, my car was taken back to the other PPF shop and they did an absolutely amazing/excellent job - one that I would consider essentially perfect. The difference between TLC's work and this other local shop was huge. After this entire ordeal, I asked Dave if he would refund me. He agreed to a partial refund if I signed an NDA. He sent me an NDA with typos which I requested multiple times be corrected before signing, and it took weeks to get him to reply to me. Finally in the end I decided to not sign it because I wanted to be able to share my experience with others. I never got my money back and basically had to pay twice to have PPF installed on my car. It was a costly mistake considering the massive amount of time I spent trying to get it fixed and the amount of time I spent without my car while it was being repaired. I will give TLC credit where credit is due...the tint job they did was fantastic; however, that was after they re-did several windows that had bubbles and were not originally installed correctly (they claimed the bubbles would go away, but they never did, so they finally agreed to re-do the windows that had bubbles and it's been fine ever since). If only they could have handled the PPF as well as the tint.
