Overpriced First the good & then the bad. I have to say that Jason was very professional and nice. We actually had a lot in common. After finishing with my oil change, he told me there were 6 things that needed to be fixed. One of them was a filter replacement for a $145.00. If you think I'm kidding, I'll post the pictures. I took my car to my regular mechanic who is my friend. All of those things that he said that I needed, don't need to be done until I hit 50,000 miles. My car only has 30 430 miles. I'm not sure if he thought that he could take advantage of me because I was a woman. My mechanic also laughed at the prices & said they were outrageous. They don't even charge labor to replace the filters. Ps I can buy the filters & replace them myself. I'll have to say I will never come back to this place ever again. This is in response to the owner's response. Even if that was the case there are 3 other services that you wanted to charge me for that were also not needed. Also, no response to a $145 charge for a filter replacement, which is ridiculous. The way this economy is now and everything is already outrageously expensive due to this administration. You need to stop taking advantage of people. Andrea, we recommend servicing CVT transmission fluid every 30K miles because they fail quite often and sometimes with very low miles; Jason did a wonderful job educating and communicating this. Even if your friend doesn't agree, have it performed anyway :) We wish you the best and hope you find a shop that better aligns with you. read more

This is the nicest group of guys ever. My 2011 Mazda broke down and i got it towed there just because it was the closest auto shop. They ran a diagnosis (very quick!) and although I decided not to pay for the repairs and just get rid of it, they still went above and beyond to ensure I had a good experience. When I went to get all of my stuff out of my car before getting rid of it, it had started to rain and one nice man even offered to hold an umbrella over me while I cleared it out. 11/10 customer service. OK, THEY NEED 10 STARS. amazing, awesome, you don't understand. last sunday i was on my way to lunch on the coast. stopped at bp manassas, near 66 and realized it is no longer a bp, but is now an OPTIMA. long story short, after 4 days in another shop (still good mechanics) these guys diagnosed and fixed my car in less than 24 hours. The intake guy listened to what i said and the technician (TIM) followed applied that knowledge and diagnosed "bad gas". they took pictures of the bad gas next to good gas for me and i can not express the LOVE I HAVE FOR THIS SHOP. One of the toughest things to do for me is go to the dentist and drop my car off at the mechanic because I always expect more issues than I'd like. The staff at this shop are fantastic. They are professional, polite and very knowledgeable about their work. The staffer that handled my case was Mina and she was responsive, patient and very helpful. THE PLACE TO GO!!! I took my car into the Vienna location after a quick google search for 'mom and pop auto care in NOVA'. Every now and then there are repairs I cannot do myself, which comes with the hassle of finding a decent mechanic. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my vehicle to be serviced as I did with Auto Stop Elite! They were honest, transparent and itemized needed repairs based on critical fixes to those that could be done at a later time. I received emails of the invoice as well as photos for the items needing repair. They were fast, had my parts overnight, and work done by the end of the following business day. The rewards program is also amazing, which includes nation-wide road side assistance. It's rare to find a mechanic who is honest, fast, and reliable. Prices were very fair. I hit a median with two tires and damaged both, one of which went flat.  We hurriedly looked for a place to buy two new tires and have the wheels looked at.  Customers spoke very highly on Yelp reviews about AUTO STOP ELITE OF GREAT FALLS.  We had an emergency so decided to try them.  They couldn't have been more accommodating.  They did have to order the tires so we had to leave our car with them overnight.  However, they gave us a $15.00 Lyft credit to help us get home.  They were going to replace two tires, work on the rims, and check the wheel alignment.  The next day when they called to tell us the car was ready, they said that they did the wheel alignment but only found it slightly off, so they did not charge us for doing that.  That was quite a big savings for us.  They explained everything to us and  told us to check around with other businesses before deciding.  They said that if we needed more time to do that, even though they were getting near closing time, they would stay open to accommodate us.  We absolutely can't recommend them enough!  Stellar customer service!!!  P.S. -They also offer lifetime tire balances, tire rotations & flat repairs.  We have found our new, favorite tire & auto repair shop!  We could not have asked for more! read more

I had a fairly major set of work done on my exhaust system here and I went to Nam's because they were much better price than the dealer who is just down the road. After I dropped off the car and they started the work they increased the price by 70% and ended up being the same price as the Steeler. In addition they did a substandard job and did improper bolt extractions and permanently damaged my car. Shady business practices avoid at all cost. Not to mention they kept my car a lot longer than they needed to so your car just sits there while they have to order parts for the next 10 days. My advice just go to the dealer they already have the parts and don't waste your time with these people. Do not trust their cost estimates they are fake. read more
