My truck has been there over two months. Twice to pick up and not ready first time they wrecked it during sometime and didn't notice had to prove to them through the cameras during intake. Second time terribly done, not matching paint and Gm no time to look hisself, even though he told me it was ready to be picked and perfect. Don't waste your time here they are not reliable now new owners. Terrible communication without your follow up and continually calling back missed timelines and overall bad work and service. Wow, horrible service. Please do not waste your time here. I had a spot on my bumper that I wanted fixed. I had a vacation coming so after calling the shop and letting them know ahead of time what I wanted done, they said it would take about a week. Perfect, so I drop my car off and get back from vaca. They say the car still is not ready. Ok fine. Call a few days later, no one even answers the phone. Call the next day, oh sorry the car won't be ready until early next week. Call early next week, cars not ready and we JUST NOW (day 16 of them having the car) have gotten the parts in to fix it? So they were lying on all the prior phone calls claiming it would be done soon. Eventually 20 days later, the car is "done". I call and text but no calls back or response so I go to the shop. The paint looks like shit, has orange peel effect and paint smear. Chips in the paint. After 20 days. I ask for some sort of discount and all I got is $100 off a $2,000 BILL.... AND THEN TOLD THEY CANT HELP ME AND WONT FIX IT. Do not go here. The manager also never introduced himself, never shook my hand, was in the back talking about nonsense when he was supposed to be "looking some stuff up" on his computer. Complete airhead. read more

This is a hard review to write. I called my insurance company after being in a horrible accident to see where I should have my truck towed. They never gave me a straight answer. So I had my truck towed to 3-C after hours. The next day we reached out and they let us know that my truck was totaled. My husband went by later that day to get some photos, get our plates and see what the next steps were. The gentleman my husband spoke to seemed extremely helpful letting us know things to look for that our insurance company may try to do. We thought, wow, so glad we choose such a great place to get our truck towed to. This is where everything turned. 3-C then tried to charge our insurance company close to $2,000 to release the truck to them "for surfaces rendered". We were confused because no work was done because the truck had been totaled. No services should have been done. My husband went through so many calls being the middle man between the insurance company and 3-C. Of course neither the insurance company nor 3-C would get on the phone with each other and cut out the middle man. So my husband had this additional stress. He was trying to help me, because the accident was very bad, I was lucky to have walked away. I would also like to mention the accident was not my fault, so I felt like why do we have added stress anyways. Long story short, 3-C ended up cutting the bill down, but not after causing us so much unnecessary heartache. I don't think I will every use them again. They made things harder on us. I brought my car in for an estimate only. I had peeled a decal off and it removed a small section of clear coat. Estimate man came out with me and evaluated. He wrote me an estimate, and I told him I'd wait and have it fixed in the future because I could not afford the paint repair. His manager comes out of the office and wants to have a look for himself. He comes back in and asks for my keys, to see if he can wipe the damage off with goo gone, I tell him it's not glue residue but clearcoat damage, and he wants to look anyway. He brings my car back with scratches from a sharp object all the way down to the metal. He says he needed to make sure it wouldn't "buff" out, and then gives me a $50 discount since he "didn't make it any prettier". I believe he was trying to lock me into paying for their service with a discount since I would be forced to get it repaired now that there was exposed metal on my car. read more

My car was involved in a minor accident in Oct 2018. I've worked directly with body shops for 6 years, so I am well aware of ins-and-outs of how they operate; which ones do legitimate good work and business, and which ones operate in shady practices. I had heard the Three C commercials on the radio and figured they would be my best option to properly fix my car with new parts. I figured wrong. Three C was not looking out for me, or fixing my car properly. After a lengthy repair time that was extended due to them trying to pit me against my insurance company, I went to pick up my car. The work done on my car was not satisfactory, and when I pointed out to them the areas that were problematic, their response was "Well, uhh, that can't be fixed. It's just how your car is." A week later, they contact me to offer a fast-food gift card to give them a 5-star review on google, Yelp, etc. I dismissed it. Fast forward less than two years later and I notice that the problematic area on my car that I pointed out to them is getting worse. It is passed any kind of timeframe for any workmanship warranty they offer. Additionally, my car has had mechanical problems in the areas they "fixed". Their radio commercials say insurance companies hate them. Well, they do, but not for the reasons they state. Don't bring your car here for any kind of repairs. read more

Asked for an estimate to get tiny surfaces scratches buffed. Got an estimate back saying they were going to charge 1900 dollars. STAY AWAY.

I will never deal with them again. Took my car in for a dent and they ended up totaling it and didn't tell me until they had it for over a week and me calling and emailing everyday during that time asking what in the world was going on. They were great at first and so nice until I signed the paperwork and then after that it was hard to get an answer and then they refused to let me come get my car back. I ended up paying over $600 in fees that included a car wash, photos and for them to take my car apart to look at it and put my parts in a bag while they looked at my car. Those fees are not the insurance companies responsibility to pay even though they say they are and try to push it all on the insurance company. Keep in mind the more money your insurance company has to pay out, the more the claim will effect your insurance rates. I complained to the owner about the horrible experience I had at his shop and he was rude and blamed the insurance company but the insurance company was nothing but helpful and nice to me. Not to mention the fact that it took them 29 days to refund my money that I had given them to get my car fixed even after they received their payment from the insurance company. They charge you $125 storage fee after they total your car and make it very difficult for the insurance company to come collect your car so they can rack up the fees. If you want to be treated horrible and have to pay quadruple of what it would really cost to get your car fixed go here. read more

If you are looking to have your vehicle deemed totaled this is your place!! I on the other hand was not! Upon arrival they said it would cost around 4to5k (this is what we expected). Then receiving the estimate days later estimated at 15k +. It was a horrific battle to pull my vehicle from their hands. I now have a new estimate with another body shop with the expected estimate 4700. I don't trust them very shady. I find a strange connection while in the office waiting, they received another phone call regarding some one trying to purchase thier vehicle back after total. On the plus side one gentlemen was very pleasant working with a crooked company. Shame On You!! Be careful to not fall into their greedy plans. read more

I recently had front end damage on my Ford and brought it to Three C (where I've been before). The experience was exactly what I have come to expect. First, they helped me understand how the relationship between the insurance company (Progressive, who also did a good job) and Three C worked. They provided a quick estimate, and then looked at the insurance estimate right after it was completed. The difference was quickly resolved and Three C started work. They communicated with me frequently (2x per week) giving me a status report, and gave me a completion date at the beginning of the work. They finished right on schedule, and the work was excellent. (And to top it all off, they did an excellent detailing of my car before returning it. Through the process, the Three C staff were helpful, friendly and honest. Scam alert! I wish I would have read all these Yelp reviews prior to going to three c. I came in for an initial estimate. They took my perfectly running car dropped at north high location, towed it to the Briggs location and billed me for it. I was even told by former employees that Ricart Ford stopped selling parts to three c because they would buy parts, show the receipts to the insurance company to bilk them, then use used unsafe parts on cars. Perfect scam. Bob juniper and Kevin Durst are more concerned about making money. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!!!! Total scam job!! Dropped my company vehicle to have a -minor repair where a smudge of paint remained after scraping a cement pole in a parking garage. I informed them that my "not too exceed" was $2000 due to policy, and that I would need to bring it elsewhere if it cost more....three weeks later I get an email indicating an $1952 in parts and labor but missed the word "additional" ....because my not to exceed was $2k I automatically assumed that they were within range and looked forward to getting my car back. I am not sure how a minor repair doubles from an already high estimate but it certainly did. They asked for a bank check so I could save the 3% credit fee... TOTAL SCAM!!! I should have known better when they made me electronically sign dozens of disclosures - my bad for not reading the fine print or assuming they would stay below my not to exceed number... They told me over the phone that since it was not going through insurance they could reduce the invoice but never got back to me...I arrived to pick up my vehicle only to see no adjustment was made and they were still looking for $4200!!! No manager was present to assist so they did the best they could and reduced my bill by $500 but still added 3% fee since I was paying with a corporate card. To add insult to injury, the repair is not high quality (visible scratches and my car was in the shop so long it wouldn't start... STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

The staff was fairly friendly and professional. I think it took a little longer than it should but they were busy a little . I inspected the van when I picked it up and thought it looked okay. I sold the van immediately after I picked it up from 3C. While negotiating a deal the buyer which is a dealership showed me where 3C got paint overspray on the paint job and didn't put clear coat on some areas. I could have taken the van all the way back to 3C to have them fix it, wait again, and not get a check for the vehicle that day. So they cost me $1,000.00 the amount that it cost to fix the paint job!!! read more

I am in crappy rental car marked 3c that smells like feet because after 2 weeks of them claiming to have fixed my car after only a small wheel well damage then picking it up, I am broke down In the middle of 270.... Then they had the audacity to make me pay for the tow because they claimed they did nothing wrong... That it was my alternator and I had to Pay for that also!!! I found out later when I took it to my mechanic that while welding one of their techs shorted out a vsa wire to the engine. I would take my car to a hole in the wall, drive it into alum creek or set myself on fire... Before I would ever take it to a 3C EVER!!!! read more

I have been in the auto industry for 35 years at MAJOR auto manufacturers and fabricators, and happen to know EXACTY how many labor hours it takes to perform ANY repair that they claim to be able to make. If you make the mistake of taking your car there, do yourself a major favor and take it to just one more place and see how big of a delta there is in estimates. It will blow your mind how much more expensive they are. What they do is convince you to leave your car there so that they can charge your insurance storage. They tell you to go get a rental car, and then "take your car apart", so that there is cost associated with "reassembling". What they don't realize is that when I brought my car in, (I had been hearing that they grossly over inflate estimates to effect a total loss), the guy I brought with me, was a former auto fabricator for 2 of the Big 3, and knew EVERY part of my car, (down to part #'s:). We already knew EXACTLY what the range of a fair estimate was, and more importantly, had gone to 3 other shops to compare. Their estimate was THREE times the ~$1500 that we expected. After asking them to clarify they estimate for my "friend", they clammed up and got really upset for asking them to specify. My friend of course was smiling from ear to ear. He was having to hold back from definitely calling them liars and cheats. I GUARANTEE you that in the next few months, one of the local news stations will be convinced to go in there with a hidden camera, and then the entire city of Columbus, will get to see what type of business this is. ADVICE: Take your care elsewhere. Anywhere else. Seriously, the service will be much better, and you decrease the chances of them attempting to rip your insurance company off, which only hurts you, because rest assured, your insurance company will punish you in future premiums for taking your car somewhere where it "costs" $4700 to fix a fucking bumper on a driveable car. read more

Absolutely the worst place to have your car repaired. They will be friendly and knowledgeable when you 1st go there. They will get you to let your guard down. They will have you sign their work order (last I heard, it was over 20 pages of legal jargon), and that is when they have you. No matter how good of an estimate is done by your insurance company, it will double and usually goes quadruple. The shop & your ins co will not be able to come to an agreed price and then the responsibility as the car owner is to get the car to a different shop. This is where all the fees are charged to the car owner. Your ins co cannot pay these fees. Three C make a lot of free money on cars they do not repair. With their admin fees and storage fees and all the other misc charges, you'll pay a minimum of $2500 to get the car from their possession. read more

What a disappointment. The initial,process was excellent to get my car picked up. From there, things were horrid. Five days for an estimate. No idea how long it would take to repair. Then nobody would call me back. $1,100 for the estimate. Significantly less expensive elsewhere, with a significantly higher degree of trust. Not at all impressed with the service I received at Three C! While my car was being repaired for a rear end crash I did not receive 1 call from Three C (Alisha Jackson was my supposed contact). I attempted to get in contact with them when I received a call from my insurance telling me that I had to turn the rental car back in (12 days later). I did not receive a call back, not even after leaving 3 messages. I finally got in contact with a manager after leaving a rather threatening message and got my car back. Soon to find out that all of my rear lights were not working. I took it back in to the shop. After arguing the fact that the lights worked previous to the accident- I was told it was a light bulb in one of my brake lights, the bulb was replaced and the problem was "solved". Psych!!!! I still have issues with all of my rear lights months later. I will not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I enjoyed working with Three-C when my car was hit and their insurance was paying for the damages. Initially, I felt they were a bit eager to have me use one of their rentals and not go to Enterprise as suggested by the insurance company - but I later found out that that was a blessing! The cost it was going to take to repair my car was more than double the value of my car, but Kevin and the entire crew were determined to find a solution to save my car! And they did just that! After 2mons, I got my car back better than before. I also didn't have to pay out of pocket for anything, including the extra days with the rental. I called 5 different body shops and none of them would take my business because they were " over booked" I called Three c and they sent a tow truck to come get me right away!!! and a few weeks later I got my car back in perfect condition. They took care of everything for me. I didn't even had to deal with the insurance company. I also loved that they washed my car when I picked it up. Very nice people, very good service. read more

Staff provided good customer service, thoroughly explained their Total Loss process, and provided me with "next-steps" on dealing with the insurance company. Not to mention, Three-C Body Shop staff were communicative throughout the total loss process. I would never wish for someone to experience any collision problems. Total scam, if you have the car on a lift, how is this considered storage? Overall, I have always brought my cars to Three-C to have my collision work completed there. I have never had any issue with their work once completed. When I go there, I tell them exactly what I want. I tell them I don't want to have to hassle with the insurance company to make sure that I get what I want. They take all the hassle out of getting the work completed exactly as I want it. They kept me informed of the progress of the work. I have had 5 different occasions to rate their work on different cars that I have brought into them. I would not be bringing my cars back to them unless they provided exceptional work on them. The only disappointment I had was related to work being completed on time. On my Jeep, they delayed me getting my car back twice due to a very small part. I faulted them on not being able to get the part in time and the correct part in time. However, I do not fault them for being honest about the delay and making sure that the car was 100% complete and correct. Never had a problem with them or an issue with their work. My cars were returned to me as good or even better than right before the accident. They took all the hassle out with dealing with the insurance company and got me my cars back to me ASAP and making sure they were correct. read more

When I first took the car to the 23/Lazelle Rd drop of location, I met with Greg. When going over the intake contract Greg suggested that I rush and sign it without reading it, since its so long it would take all day to actually read it. From that point I should have left with my car and went somewhere else. From there is was 3 days after the signing of the contract that I got a copy of it (Strangely right after the 3 day period to withdraw from a contract without penalty). Once my car was at the main 3C location for the repairs I spoke with the person doing the initial quote. The first quote was over $5k+ with every line item possible added to bring the price up. From there every time I called or emailed to speak with someone I was passed off to one person after another. Finally it was assigned to Finishing Manager Knox. In order to get updates on the vehicle I had to always chase someone down. Updates were never proactively given and seeing as it took 30+ days to replace a damaged hood and do some paint touch ups, an update here or there would have been standard in my opinion. Then I come to find out that my windshield was broken while with 3C, the only way I found this out was when my insurance company sent a supplement quote to me and I saw there was a new item added for a windshield. When I reached out to Knox about this he said I meant to tell you haha. So after every foreseeable delay, I got my car back after 30+ days. When I get in my car I see paint splatter on my drivers side door (When they painted the front end) and my air-conditioner no longer works. After calling both the intake person at 23/Lazelle and Knox at the main location to let them know, my calls are not answered or returned. 3C has a bad habit of not answering the phone or returning calls/emails in a timely manner. I would highly advise against ever using 3C. read more

I've heard a LOT of horror stories about this place over the years, but when a family member got a trumped up estimate that was almost 3 times more than what the insurance company would allow and decided not to get the work done there as a result of the crazy amount, they decided to add fees for parts....for work that they didn't do! Next steps is forwarding the information to the attorney general but if you can avoid this place and the headaches that come with it, please do! They are absolutely the most wonderful people I have ever worked with!! During the difficult time of totaling my Jeep, they were so considerate, thoughtful and patient!
