I've been twice since the new owner has taken over. Once just to get two caliper bolts off so that I could do brakes, rotors, and wheel hubs that were rusted on. They offered to just replace the parts for a very good price since they were already in there and I accepted. The second time was to diagnose a problem that I couldn't figure out and they were able to. Great prices and very honest work. I would recommend and they seem to be knowledgeable in hybrids too which is a plus.

Murphy Mobile Mechanic Service is Excellent and a life saver…read more One day my girlfriend's car didnt start. I thought it was the starter based on what I was hearing. But I wasn't 100%. So my girlfriend was going to take it to a shop and was quoted over a grand. So Instead I looked on yelp and found Murphy's and requested a quote at about 10:50pm on a Friday night. I got a text to my cell phone at 11:02pm just minute's later!! He asked me what I heard and he agreed that it sounded like the starter. He got all the information about the car and said he would contact me in the morning. The very next morning he called me and got the part and was headed over to my apartment to help. He got here quickly and tested to make sure it was the starter before he installed it to save time and money. And got it installed and ready and working perfectly in about 30-40 minutes. He charged us for the part he brought for us and the labor and we ended up paying around 600 bucks when we would have been paying at LEAST twice that at a shop, and we didn't have to worry about towing the car to a shop or anything since he came to us. We were extremely happy and I'd recommend him to anyone. I believe his name was John, If I'm incorrect I'm sorry lol. But he was very good, quick, knowledgeable and convenient. I thought coolant leaking day 1 and day 2 after repair were from when the hose was forgotten but NO, I now have an overheating engine, coolant leak and they claimed to be coming to look at it for 2 days (now going on the 3rd day) and still haven't showed and have not communicated anything else for days! Not only that but wanted to charge me for parts to fix it even if it was their error. Then wanted to charge me $100 for diagnostic if it turned out not to be their error (which how would that be if it wasn't leaking before they touched it...1st mechanic touched NOTHING on that side nor did he remove anything involving coolant yet they tried to pass blame stating it could have been done before they came. Now it's 3 days before Christmas and I'm stranded in OH and can't get back home to NC! BAD BUSINESS! Only one star because I had to.

We thought, wow, so glad we choose such a great place to get our truck towed to. This is where everything turned. 3-C then tried to charge our insurance company close to $2,000 to release the truck to them "for surfaces rendered". We were confused because no work was done because the truck had been totaled. No services should have been done. My husband went through so many calls being the middle man between the insurance company and 3-C. Of course neither the insurance company nor 3-C would get on the phone with each other and cut out the middle man. So my husband had this additional stress. He was trying to help me, because the accident was very bad, I was lucky to have walked away. I would also like to mention the accident was not my fault, so I felt like why do we have added stress anyways. Long story short, 3-C ended up cutting the bill down, but not after causing us so much unnecessary heartache. I don't think I will every use them again. They made things harder on us. They told us that an auxiliary fan was broken, and "repaired it" for nearly $400. Less than an hour after their "repair", our car broke down in traffic and smoke started pouring from the hood without warning. We feared the worst. We called Mike for an estimate, and he came and looked over our Jeep the same day. He took excellent care of us, was honest, and explained his hypothesis of what was wrong with the car. HIs rates were fair and he was just overall wonderful to work with. 2 hours after he arrived to our complex (after having our car towed home), our jeep is up and running better than ever.
