I took it there, with a FULL TRUST with honest local mechanic shop. Oh mannnnn, I was 100% WRONG!!!!! The females receptionists were nice, but the mechanic himself, either he's a quack, didn't know what he's doing or straight up liar. He said I need to replace my engine and quoted me $6k, and charged me $125 for a BOGUS! diagnostics. I was extremely stressed out by what's said, checked out online further, found out it could be the Head Valve Gasket, Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils issue. I find a person to replaced the gasket and the spark plugs. I studied further and decided to replace the Ignition Coils MYSELF! That's right! Less than $400, later, my car runs top of the line. Check engine light was off, and no more issue. My suggestion, either check yourself online, don't trust the mechanic shops. Also I wasted $125 for a FALSE DIAGNOSTIC. This is not a slander or defamation, because it's true. My friend who's a highly decorated vet was also there, accompanied me as the witness.

Almost everyone there I didn't recognize except for one guy, who was a big part of the problem my last visit. They were kind and courteous through dealing with a few rude customers. They made sure I got my discount from my app and also replaced my battery for me. Gave me all the recommendations for services on the car I drive. The gentleman behind the counter heard my story about what I was quoted to fix 2 problems so I could drive at least another 50,000 miles. He gave me a quote and added he could find a 10% discount to save a little more. I made an appointment for 1:00 and came back. Got NAPA struts and Kelly tires witn a 4 wheel alignment. Took longer than originally estimate, but that can be expected especially if you have an afternoon appointment. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want and even reset the tire pressure to what I like to run for gas mileage. (Saturns are like Goldilocks about what tires and pressure those tires are set, get it wrong can cost up to 5 mpg) Having long hair and boobs, I have to be careful who I have work on my 17 year old baby. Some shops see someone that they can fool and make a HUGE profit. But I am those types of shops biggest nightmare, a female that knows cars and what it should cost that also have a big mouth. Murphy Mobile Mechanic Service is Excellent and a life saver…read more One day my girlfriend's car didnt start. I thought it was the starter based on what I was hearing. But I wasn't 100%. So my girlfriend was going to take it to a shop and was quoted over a grand. So Instead I looked on yelp and found Murphy's and requested a quote at about 10:50pm on a Friday night. I got a text to my cell phone at 11:02pm just minute's later!! He asked me what I heard and he agreed that it sounded like the starter. He got all the information about the car and said he would contact me in the morning. The very next morning he called me and got the part and was headed over to my apartment to help. He got here quickly and tested to make sure it was the starter before he installed it to save time and money. And got it installed and ready and working perfectly in about 30-40 minutes. He charged us for the part he brought for us and the labor and we ended up paying around 600 bucks when we would have been paying at LEAST twice that at a shop, and we didn't have to worry about towing the car to a shop or anything since he came to us. We were extremely happy and I'd recommend him to anyone. I believe his name was John, If I'm incorrect I'm sorry lol. But he was very good, quick, knowledgeable and convenient.
