I decided to get an estimate from Caliber Collision which ended up being 14,500 (6,000. higher). John Hinderer was going to paint the roof after repairing the dents. They also said that they would repair a couple of other scratches previously present while working on the full repair of the car due to hail damage. Caliber ended up not painting the roof which ended up showing some scratches from the hail. Yes the dents were removed but scratches left. There were also numerous scratches on the area around the roof (driver's side) which must have resulted in some type of equipment or hose scraping across the area that they used to work on the roof. Keep in mind the estimate was 6,000. above John Hinderer which had a 4.9 rating. Caliber Collision also had a 4.9 rating. I am returning today (5-12-25) to review the roof situation with them, hoping that they will not hesitate to correct the situation considering the amount paid by my insurance of 14,638. in the end. I will update this review following today's visit. I hope it goes well and they are willing to schedule my car in for another repair of the roof and surrounding area that is now covered in scratches. Follow up - I brought my car back in today and asked for the fine scratches to be buffed that were not there prior to them working on tue car. I know this because we detailed the car the night before the hail storm and the scratches were not there. Keep in mind I paid them 6,500 more than the 1st estimate received (a very reputable dealer). They said "No, they would not buff out the scratches. I DO NOT recommend this business for your collision repairs. My husband took his to John Hinderer Honda, Heath, and had excellent results at half the cost of this place.

Less than a year later, the paint began chipping and peeling badly. When I reached out for help under the warranty, the company ignored my email. I went in person and spoke to the General Manager, who confirmed the problem and gave me a $1,000 repair estimate, but then claimed they were "bought out" and refused to honor the warranty. They are still using the same name, location, phone number, website, and branding, but they are pretending they're not responsible for warranties they sold under their own name. I am a disabled veteran and full-time student, and this is incredibly unethical. I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Ohio Attorney General, and I'm prepared to pursue legal action if needed. I highly recommend you avoid this business. They do not stand behind their work. If this company chooses to do the right thing and honor the warranty I paid for, I will update this review accordingly.

I usually take my car to the dealer bc they use OEM parts which is the way to go especially if you have a newer car. Gerber not only did terrible work, they caused thousands in additional damages. From the accident I needed suspension work on the front right tire, a new fender and passenger door. While Gerber was fixing this they severed the wires to my airbag system just to name one of the many things they did and lied about it. I ended up needing a new wiring harness and all other work completely redone. 5 years prior I had hit a deer and brought my car to Lindsay for body work and they did a fantastic job. I've never had any problems since. Gerber tried to pass their mistake off onto the business who previously worked on my car (Lindsay Honda). I called Lindsay to ask some questions about what Gerber was doing and the manager Cody called me back. He was very transparent and guided me in the right direction. I had my car towed from Gerber to Lindsay where Cody inspected my car of the damages. He looks for every little detail which in my opinion makes him the best at what he does. If it wasn't for his help I don't know where I would be with my car. I was able to better navigate advocating for myself with the insurance company and upper management of Gerber. After all said and done, 4 months in total, my car has finally been fixed properly and I didn't have to pay thousands out of pocket bc of the corruption coming out of Sheir Rings road Gerber location. I took my car to Rader because they're an authorized Honda repair shop. They quoted me a much lower price than the previous shop that I got an estimate from. When I went to pick my car up they informed me that because they had to replace instead of repair my door the price was significantly higher. They didn't make me pay the difference and they even repainted a ding on the opposite door of the car free of charge. Combine that with the fact that my ride looks as good as the day that I drove it off the showroom floor. I'm a happy camper. Hopefully I won't need another repair but if I do I'm not even looking anywhere else!
