This is local and an occasional stop for us in our rotation! The red Jeep waitress is super helpful and stays on top of things! Food is decent too! (Pizza has been hit or miss since Covid for us) Unfortunately for waitstaff, they have to explain (likely regularly) why there's no drink menu or drink specials and then go through the song and dance of "can they make this? Do they have that?" Which must be exhausting and take up precious time waiting tables and other duties. I've been going here with my family for at least 5 years now and I can actually remember when they had good service but within the last few months the service is terrible I even work in the food industry and it's not acceptable to come in numerous time and have to wait 15-20 minutes for a server to take your drink order while they're in the back talking and not paying attention to their customers and on top of that the food takes about 45 minutes after placing the order and it was just me and my girlfriend 3 different times in the last two months this has happened not sure how they're staying in business but I'm done eating there. Cool local pub/grill hangout. Diverse menu, good tap beer selection (about 18 taps). I like the option for pint, 23 or 27 ounce glasses. Alot of good menu choices but since I had been craving wings for a bit, I decided on the spicy garlic....and they were super tasty!!!! Looking for a kid friendly and adult place? This is your spot. Priced well and food is decent. They have good adult drinks, kid friendly, and food is decent. I would come here for burgers and sandwiches though. I wouldn't order the fried pickles (too salty for my taste. The pickle to batter ratio was off) or appetizers again. We ordered the steak and it was decent. The pasta and Mac n cheese had heavy seasoning. The best thing we felt was worth coming back for was the burger (huge burger by the way) and margaritas! Went there to watch the rockets Game. It's a perfect family orientated sports bar so bring the kids. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Good sized menu, prices are good as well. We had fried mushrooms and fried pickles for appetizers. The mushrooms were yummy but could have been fried a touch bit longer at a lower heat to cook the veggie better. The fried pickles were very salty, almost to the point were I couldn't eat them. My blood Mary was good. My burger looked amazing when it came to the table. But I didn't like the bun. Even though it was toasted, it had a gummy texture. The meat was super salty, and I asked for my onions to be grilled, they put raw and grilled onions on my burger, weird.. As soon as I walked into Three Bs Grill I felt like I was stepping into a hometown hangout. I have just moved to the Kingwood area and have been trying different eateries. I like to aim away from chain restaurants if I can. Entering Three Bs Grill, you're stuck by the friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The first thing I saw was a large group of 8-10 year old soccer players celebrating after a game with three of the restaurant's sturdy dark wood tables pushed together. The decor runs along the vein of a classy sports bar, but it's toned back a bit. There are only 5 flat screens positioned around the dining area, which compared to a Buffalo Wild Wings and those ilk is a minimum amount of screens. There is an abundance of dark well maintained wooden tables (clustered just a little bit too close together... sometimes people's chairs when scooted back clacked into each other) and high backed booths bordering the walls. One feature of this restaurant that tugged at my sense of nostalgia is the little walled in nook of vintage arcade games for kids and adults alike. I saw parents laughing over nachos and southwestern egg roll appetizers while their kids played pacman. The food is simple and flavorful. Three Bs offers a "Build Your Own Burger" which gives you a paragraph of options from peppers, guacamole, ranch, pickles, bacon and a column of possibles cheeses. My burger came out crispy and flavorful. My side of broccoli was buttery and perfectly crunchy with a melting center. I also got a side of baked potato soup that tasted identically delicious to Chilis. The atmosphere is a bit loud if you're looking for a deep serious conversation and the lighting is that exact shade of dim that hurts your eyes after about half an hour. The food was bland and nasty. The customer service was unpleasant. The waitress was rude. I waived for the waitress and told her my food didn't have shrimp in it and I didn't like the ravioli she took the bowl and walked off didn't bring a menu or offer anything else. We were ready for the check and finally she comes and bring the check when we get ready to pay my husband realized she charged us for my food saying I ate some. That bowl was full and she ask me what I didn't like it I told her when she first took the food that it was missing shrimp and bland. she was like let me go talk to my manager and she left then came back and slammed the receipt on the table and walked off. My husband was like you know we tip and I was like yes we do but we didn't tip because she was rude and walked off without taking the money and she didn't even care if we were paying with cash or card. We didn't want to leave the cash on the table so she can be like we didn't pay but there was no registers we could go to and pay at., so luckily we had the cash to pay since she walked off. So we left the money on the table and left. She had no hospitality. There were two waiters and the place was not pack at all. The food was nasty and so was my husbands he didn't even eat his nachos I should've took a picture. The sodas was nasty also. She showed that she doesn't like catering to black people. The tables were not clean and she didn't even bring us napkins. We won't be back. I had better service at restaurants and this one was the worst. read more

Today while at Three B's I experienced the WORST bartender ever. I believe her name was Ariel? Not too sure Tall Blonde woman. While trying to order a drink she would interrupt me with "whose your waiter? You need to order at your table." After telling her I didn't have a table and have been sitting at the bar she rolled her eyes and sighed VERY LOUDLY asking me what I wanted. After getting my drink and sitting at the bar several other people came up to the bar trying to order drinks and she proceeded to be very rude to every single one of them. Any time someone else came up to the bar she was either gone or ignoring them because they "weren't sitting at the bar" I've been coming to Three B's for a while now and this is the first time I've ever had to deal with such a rude bartender. We had many restaurants opportunities to dine tonight and we choose Three Bs only to be disappointed as we were told there is a 15 min wait for a table. No problem while waiting we watched two families of 4 walk in and be seated quickly. When I asked the young teenager hostess why not us and she said that they had more ppl. Still didn't understand the logic I asked again she said that she was told only to seat 4 ppl or more at a 6 top table. Wow.. clearly managers only looking for that extra revenue. That's ok we went to the Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot and food was amazingly good. Three Bs used to be our go to restaurant not anymore. We stopped here on a whim for lunch and the place did not disappoint. The cook realized he overcooked my fried pickles and replaced them without me even asking. We chose to sit outside. I called your restaurant and your hostess told me that my options were to drive there and pick the food up or call Door Dash and argue with them about getting a refund. The missing food was YOUR FAULT and not Door Dash! My kids needed to eat so I chose to drive to you while the rest of our food was getting cold at home. No apology given at all. No one there seemed to care. I will not be eating with you ever again and I will tell everyone I know (which is half of Kingwood BTW) not to give you business. To management!! The minute I walked into the restaurant to ask to add to my order the female bartender was extremely RUDE to me!!! Spoke to me with attitude and disgruntled face, which she never added the American cheese like she said she was going to do, which I understand she could not add another veggie due to this order being from a DoorDash order. While I'm waiting for my food she's talking to a server about someone's brake up/relationship and calls the guy that broke up with her friend a POS, (foul mouth language)! I get notification that my food is ready and she's still talking to the waiter about gossip. She then steps to the back so I think she's going to get my food and she's taking a long minute so I walk back there to ask for my food. The cook tells me that "she" is coming to bring me my food ( I have to return back to work) she comes out and walks to a table, I then tell the rude bartender that I need my food and need to leave. Yummy food. Great environment. Good place to watch sports as they have several TVs scattered throughout the restaurant. We started off with the potato skins which were pretty good. I had the country fried steak tacos. I just wish the seasoned the steak separate but other than that it was ok. The drinks were delicious. I had the Long Island iced tea. My husband had the burger topped with the fried Mac and cheese. He said it was great. The food came out fast. I have a friend who ate here who told me the beef brisket sandwich was the best ever. It's no longer on the menu so I opted for the BLT. Bad choice. Here's what the menu said: "The BBBLT Extra thick Texas Toast, bursting with crispy smoked bacon, fresh shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes & mayo $9.99" Unfortunately, the toast was not thick, it was not bursting with crispy smoked bacon (3, maybe 4 smallish strips of bacon - none of it "bursting" beyond the borders of the bread), plenty of lettuce, one slice of tomato and no mayo (not even on the side). This is exactly how my entrée was delivered and for 9.99 it fell way short of both the advertisement and my expectations. This sandwich seriously underperformed. The service here was fine and I don't normally two-star a restaurant for a single dish, but seriously Three B's - have a secret diner order one of these and see for yourselves how far off the mark the actual product is vs what is described in the menu. read more

This place has a lot of potential. My wife and our two teenaged children went for dinner last night. It had been a while since the four of us actually sat through a meal together with all that goes on. This was our second visit to 3 Bs so we were familiar with the menu. The food is above average but there is more variety than you typically get in a restaurant / bar. The waiter, Coleman was very attentive and worked to make sure that we had all that we needed and our beverages were kept full. We ordered the Jalapeno poppers to start and they were better than what we expected and frankly some of the best we've eaten. What keeps this review from four or five stars (and frankly I wish there was a 2 and a half) is that there were two fathers sitting directly behind us with their pre-teen children who literally ran-amuck. Now that is not the fault of 3 Bs, they can't predict when or prevent irresponsible parents from visiting their restaurant. What they lose stars for is that they have put in an area with play stations and therefore they provide an attraction for parents to come in, eat a burger, have a beer or wine and let their kids hang out, making noise and generally making it unpleasant for the rest of us. Three Bs has a lot of potential, but they need to cater to people in the area that will come in, enjoy a casual atmosphere, have a meal, watch a game and spend money. I hope this happens. We'll give it one more chance...but it is very competitive for the restaurant/bar business and plenty of other places where can spend our money. Rowdy kids can cost this place a future. read more

There aren't a lot of choices in the back of Kingwood, but this place more than sucks! The food is barely edible and the service even worse, primarily the ownership. Against my better judgement, my son wanted to come to celebrate his birthday. While waiting for a table on a busy Friday night, we were told our table was being cleared and would be a minute. Shortly after, the host came by and apologize that one of the "owners" came in and took over the table. Seriously? The poor kid was horrified and knew it was wrong. Total jerk move! Sadly, over the past few years, the service has gone downhill and the food has gotten worse. One night we ordered fried pickles and they were nothing more than over salted slivers of fried mess! Half had no pickle at all! The cuts of meat barely qualify as meat. Do yourself a favor and go to Skeeters or Cha-Chi's instead! You will have a much better meal and overall experience! read more

I went here to grab a drink with a friend who had a layover at IAH. Kingwood doesn't have many bar & grill restaurants so I found this one on Yelp (even though the reviews were so so). It was 8:00 pm when we got there and it was quite crowded. Surprisingly, though this place has the interior of a nice sports bar, there were children running all around the place. There seemed to be a game area in the restaurant that was attracting them which meant a gaggle of kids would run back and forth from their table to the games. One kid kept hitting my friend's purse off her chair because the tables were sort of on top of each other. I'm sorry, but my friend and I were just looking for a place to chat while enjoying a few drinks. Is it so much to ask for people to leave their kids at home, or to at least make them behave? Our waitress had no sympathy for us, and gave us a look like we were a pair of child-hating shrews for complaining. Oh, well. Other than that, the food was okay. We split the appetizer trio, but the buns on the sliders were soggy. The Southwest egg rolls were a bit greasy. However, the beers were cold and the cocktails were yummy; but, I don't think I'll go back to Three B's which disappoints me. read more

I just tried Three B's for the first time last night. My wife and I met some family and friends there for drinks out on their patio. I like the sports bar atmosphere, and our waitress Heather was outstanding, but after 15 minutes she informed us that she had been "cut" and was being sent home and that another wait person would be taking care of us. That's when it went down hill. No one ever returned to check our table. We went the bar to order drinks and noticed that 4 or 5 employees were sitting at a table in the bar talking, but not working any of the tables. The bartender said that he would have someone check on us, but it never happened. Unless they get more wait staff like Heather, I don't have any interest in returning. read more

This is just a friendly little neighborhood place with a small bar area. It is not a very big place at all but friendly, has lots of flatscreen TVs always showing sports. My experience, having been here 20+ times, is that service is always acceptable and sometimes good and the fish tacos are absolutely the best! They have the best sauce of any fish tacos I have had, including in San Diego or Baja Mexico. The Cobb salad and the ribs are also excellent. The owner many times is out visiting with people and making sure that you're having a good experience. It's locally owned and locally operated and it shows. For a neighborhood bar and Grill this is a really great place. read more
