I was frantically trying to find a place to get my eyebrows done during lunch and I finally decided to take a risk and come to visit Rana since it is so conveniently located and had such great reviews. Rana's Studio is located at the back of a hair salon, which was incredibly busy. Still I had no problem getting an appointment with her as a walk-in. She was very pleasant and listened to all of my specifics about my eyebrows. We both decided what would need to be done for them to look best. She ended up doing a great job and I was really pleased. At $14 pricing seemed on par with most DC threading salons. Getting your eyebrows threaded by someone new is always a risk but I'm totally happy I came to Rana. I would recommend everyone give her a try and adopt her as your new go to eyebrow person. read more

Let me say - I am VERY picky about my threaders and Rana is the best threader I've ever had. She follows the natural shape of my eyebrows, doesn't thin them out, lets new growth be when it's contributing to a better shape, I love Rana! Also it's so strange but I feel like when she threads it hurts less than other threaders. I used to go to Dupont Threading but started seeing Rana a few years ago. I see Shirin at VSL for my hair and she recommended I give Rana a try. It may be a dollar or two more than other places, but you never have to worry about getting a random person to do your eyebrows like other spots. Also, Rana is so kind and thoughtful! She gives tips on how to grow your eyebrows in thicker, avoid ingrown hair, remembers tidbits about you personally - she's the best! I won't let anyone else touch my brows!! read more

Rana has been nothing but wonderful. I have previously been to many other salons that thread eyebrows but so far, Rana has left a lasting impression on me. I never write reviews but for this lady, I just have to. It was a friday night and i had just got my eyebrows waxed at another salon. I looked in the mirror and I was horrified because my eyebrows were completely wrong. One was bigger than the other, and just plain ugly. I left and came to VSL, and they recommended Rana. 5-10 minutes and $45.... damaged skin and no real change in face fuzz. I am fine skinned and peach fuzzy. Perhaps she is better for darker hairs? Disappointing. In India and other places with serious professionals, the much much less expensive treatments have been quite excellent. Perhaps we don't have the comparison here, and trust me, this was not even a $10 treatment for $45. What do you think? read more

I needed to get my eyebrows threaded and I also wanted to go to a new place because the women that I used to go to would make my eyebrows thin which I hated. So on Thursday I came to this place for the first time after seeing all the good reviews about Rana on Yelp and she doesn't make your brows thin which I love! She closes at 7 but was nice enough to do my brows when I came right at closing time which I truly appreciate and she is so kind. We talked when she threaded my brows and she truly is a good threader because it barely hurt. At other places I've been to for threading, the ladies have extremely harsh hands but Rana definitely doesn't. She's the first threader that I've went to that has a light but precise hand when it comes to threading and she didn't make my brows thin! She listened to me and I left her place happy! I'll definitely be going back to her!!! You guys should seriously go to her. No joke! read more
