I came across this location via instagram. They were advertising a back to school special for brow threading with tinting and an express nose exfoliation. The deal was so good I had to give it a try. This was my first experience for all three. I've always gone to the nail salon to have my eyebrows waxed and never could get them as perfect as the first time. I always ended up with one brow looking gookey or one brow still having hairs that the lady failed to catch. Let's just say this experience trumped ALL. Upon arrival (meter parking in front of the location) I was greeted by the warm, soft girly decor of the salon. The called me over asking if I needed assistance. Once she looked up my appointment, she paired me with Yasmin. Yasmin did an amazing job on my brows. Since having them waxed for so long they usually look thin, but she tinted them and gave them great definition. After 10 brow appointments you get 1 free I will definitely be returning, as they have so many great services that range from Brow threading to tinting to micro-blading, they have facials, nose cleaning, exfoliating and waxing, lash extensions and even Brazilian. Today I took the initiative to cheat on my eyebrow lady at another store and honestly, I left with much disappointment. My friends and I have been following threadxskin on ig for a while and we wanted to give it a try. We came together for the special (eyebrow threading, tint, and nose cleanse) and her experience was much more pleasing than mine, which I am happy to hear. I guess I'm one of those unlucky people. The lady I had threaded my eyebrows extremely slowly, making it painful but I didn't mind that since she was taking her time to perfect the shape. When my lady cleansed my nose, she knew I was in pain but insisted on continuing despise the many tears that came out. My skin is extremely sensitive and I had to tell her to stop a few times. That's not what bothered me the most, it's the tinting. Yes, tinting does come off eventually but the shape was horrendous. She let me leave with almost a full unibrow of tint and that is not acceptable. I asked her if it was ok that the tint was going off my eyebrow shape and she said it was fine. Given her the benefit of the doubt, I patiently waited for the tint to finish. As she was wiping the tint off with an alcohol wipe, she got it on my eyelid and it started burning. I mentioned it to her and she said it's normal (I don't think so). After, she put aloe on my eyebrows as well and it got into my tear duct area and saying "it's ok" AGAIN. She shoved my hand out of my face as I tried to wipe the aloe in my eye. Girl, if you really think getting alcohol on your eyelid and aloe on the corner of your eye is okay I don't know what to say to you. I don't think the salon is bad at all. The decor was really cute and the staff is nice, I think I just came at the wrong time and got the wrong person. Today I went to Thread for an underarm and Brazilian wax. The salon is beautiful, clean, and filled with relaxed women who were being catered to for a multitude of services. In the private room, Liz offered two different wax options - chocolate or honey, and guided me to which of the two would be best for my skin, hair, and pain tolerance. I cannot express enough the efficiency of her work. It was quick, but not rushed, and a tolerable amount of pain. (barely noticed it) I'm so happy Liz has a beautiful new salon for herself! Disappointed. They have a binder where clients come and sign for what they want to get done. I signed in to get my eyebrows threaded and tint and I was told it's a 10 mins wait and there was one person in line front of me so I didn't mind. However, a client came after me and the technician who were doing eyebrows seem to know her personally and just spoke to her. I guess that okay because you want your clients coming in often. They called the lady before me for her services, and I waited for my turn. Few mins passed and they took the lady who signed after me, before me. I felt like my time was wasted for sitting and waiting. Not once did they call my name nor asked me if I was waiting. They just assumed the other clients was next. They took two clients who signed after me and I felt disrespected of my time and wanting service. Sad part is I drove all the way from Virginia for an event and had to do a last min run to get my eyebrows and hair done. Friend recommended but I wish they didn't. I couldn't even wait anymore because I had a hair appointment and I wasn't going to miss it. This is upsetting. Please read the binder properly and call names out loud. 0/10! read more

This is the best eyebrow salon I have ever been too! It is so clean and up to date! It looks like something straight out of Pinterest. They decorate so cute for every season! I travel 30-40 minutes away just for my brows. Liz does such an amazing job at shaping and tinting them so perfectly! She is so fast and makes it pain-free. The place is decorated super cute and girly someplace to take your girlfriends. The woman doing my eyebrows knew soo much about them. She mentioned my eyebrows didn't have a shape yet which made sense because I haven't done my eyebrows in 1 YEAR so she just cleaned them. I trusted her from the start. I had the worst experience of my life! I came to get my eyebrows done and brought two of my boys age 4 and 5 because my babysitter canceled on me last minute. Mind you this was my only day off of work and I didn't have a choice but to bring them. They are harmless, quiet and cooperative boys who were going to wait patiently until I was done. But no, I was rudely approached by the receptionist either Naomi or Carolina (she would not give me her name) and was asked to leave because I could not be there with my children. How absurd ?? I was then told they would call the police if I didn't leave! Yes you heard me correctly. One of the most unprofessional people I ever had to deal with. Take your money elsewhere. This business will be having a lawsuit initiated by me. Never felt so humiliated and anxious before and for no apparent reason at all! read more

I've been here a few times for services such as brow shaping, brow lamination, lash lift, facials and I have had a great experience every-time. All of the staff are so professional and friendly. They walk you through each service step by step and tailor it to your specific needs such as skin type, allergies etc. All of the staff are very thorough and knowledgeable. I've been going to this salon since they first opened. For me it's super easy to get to. It's amazing to see how much they've grown in terms of shop and services! I used to love getting my lash extensions done here but since the height of CoVid it has only been limited to once in a while specials. However, It's been my go to place for threading my brows. I generally am not too particular with who I get, but whenever Hetal does my brows, she always does some magic to make them look amazing. I'm ecstatic that now they have a brow loyalty card again. I've also gotten my first Hydrafacial done with Nikki and she took wonderful care of me. Very sweet, welcoming, and you can tell she goes the extra mile for her clients. My face felt so fresh, and my skin type is normally combo/oily. If I could afford facials more often I'd def book with her! They now have more things like tiny tattoos, lip blushes, and more eye brow repair services which is super awesome to see. They have something for everyone! It used to be way better. They left my eyelashes crinkled with no change in lift after a lash lift. I had to go back to get it redone and there wasn't any change- just damage. Lady was eating and talking on the phone the whole time both sessions. I had to wait even though I was on time. Eyebrow threading isn't as good either. Wouldn't go again read more

Going to Thread i never leave unsatisfied. It is safe to say their customer service, aesthetics and atmosphere always leave me pleased. From facials , to waxing and eyebrow threading all the services provided are great. I have received my brazilian wax from Alexandra and she is the best! Very gentle, fast and clean. I normally don't write reviews but this place was such a disappointment and a waste of time/money that I felt that I had to. I traveled a fairly long way due to photos I saw on their Instagram. I scheduled an appointment with Liz since she was often the person who did the eyebrows I liked on their page. She rushed through my brows and gave me one of the worst shapes I have ever had. She could tell I was displeased however I don't think she really cared as the atmosphere of the salon felt very social, as if they were preparing to have a party/gathering there(I came at 6). I really thought I would like this place however after this visit, I do not recommend this place or think it is worth your time especially if you have to travel a long way. read more

The tint that she used was nothing special, the whole thing came off the 2nd day, I'm not even kidding. This salon is a God send, I am not exaggerating. I have not had my eyebrows done in 2 years because previous eyebrow ladies just did not understand I wanted or know how to give me what I wanted. Liz changed my whole life and rescued my eyebrows. She is very knowledgeable and has excellent technical skills. I will be a regular here. The ambience is just perfect, soft pinks, ash grey and calligraphy. I really hope Liz can maintain the quality of service over time. Ladies you must go!! I did the witches brew which is eyelash lift with the tint. Liz did mine. It took about 45-1 hr not to sure. This place is really cute . I haven't used mascara at all either. And if I do is because I want like a very dramatic look but I don't need to. But I def recommend this place. I suggest u book a week or two ahead because it does get very busy. This review is lonnggggg overdue. I've been a customer at thread about a year and a half prior to covid-19. This has and always will be my go to brow salon. Every service I've had I've always walked away extremely satisfied with the customer service, the attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Now maybe a couple months ago, I decided to get my eyebrows micro-bladed, I've gone to Michelle for a brow lamination before and she was one of THE BEST. Her personality, the care and effort she puts into her work 100% shows even within her smile. Thread also creates some awesome deals on big services such as microblading from time to time and when I saw there was one and with Michelle I had to do it. My first appointment, went pretty flawlessly. The procedure itself for microblading was not what I expected at all but Michelle made it almost seamless for me. It was smooth sailing the whole way through. She listened to me, my concerns, my wants and needs in terms of brow shaping. I have to admit I was pretty anxious and nervous to do something like this, but after one look at my brows after and I was IN AWE! They came out so beautiful and I couldn't even believe they were mine. When I looked at Michelle I even told her are you sure you did them?! Cause they looked so natural, which was exactly what I was looking for. I expressed my desires in terms of how I wanted my brows to look when I went in 6 weeks later for a touch up. She worked with me, she listened to me, and you could tell she was very attentive to each and every detail, all the while, she was having a deep conversation with me about life. She really made me feel like that was my home girl and I could gossip about anything and everything. I haven't felt confident in any beauty service before I started going to thread.
