    2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sport S

    I was shopping around to upgrade my lease on my 2021 Jeep Wrangler and while I looked all over the Bay Area, I found Thompson Family of Dealers that had a great price on the make and model was looking for. When I reached out via email, I was responded to within a couple of hours, a video was sent of the vehicle along with contact information. Very fast and very professional. Shout out to Gary for helping me out throughout the process, he was knowledgable, transparent, didn't take the typical "car salesman" approach and I really felt like he was looking after me as if he was a friend. We worked out a price, made sure I was taken care of when turning in the lease, test driving the new Wrangler, and finalizing all the paperwork. Also would like to thank Miguel in the Financing department. He made the process easy to understand. Very conversational while we were waiting for paperwork to go through, it felt like it was "take your friend to work" day. The upmost praise to these guys, I traveled all the way from Concord, CA (1hr and 45mins) and I do not regret it one bit! I'll make sure to recommend these guys to anyone looking for a new vehicle. 10/10 service from the whole crew. Thank you, Gary, Miguel and Mike.

    I was quite disappointed that this dealership pulled what it seemed like the Patriot Act scam: https://www.creditcards.com/statistics/patriot-act-credit-check-scam-auto-car-loan/. I was basically told that when I'm ready to purchase a vehicle with my own financing, a finance application must be filled out with the dealership. I was really confused as to why would I need to fill out a finance application when I've already secured my own. Then I looked it up and found multiple articles of this scam where dealers do this just to make a few more bucks off of you. I've dealt with many dealerships before and this is the first I've ever come across this. After I texted the salesperson this that I've never heard of this before, I never got a response back. I also reach out to the General Manager and got no response. I really had high hopes of this place because of their great customer service but all my trust with them went down the drain when this happened. If you're paying with cash or have your own financing, I would avoid this dealership. What a shame...

    Chrysler 300 Sport

    Late post, but a big shout out to Matt my car salesman!!! I was in a tuff spot when I walked in and he went above and beyond to help me get my Jeep traded in for something better with gas mileage. I had no money down and was very worried. With in two days he worked it out to have my Jeep paid off in full, money in my pocket and no down payment!! I couldn't have asked for a better salesman. My Chrysler 300 sport came in to the dealership at the same time I was trying to trade in my jeep. It never even made on the lot because Matt knew it was fit for me. I recommend Thompsons Chrysler Jeep hands down! Thanks Matt! Laura Stone

Instead of a simple response, I was met with a dismissive grunt and an attitude that made it clear I wasn't welcome. Trying to move past it, I asked about a part I needed and some additional supplies. The clerk didn't respond--just stared at me until the phone rang, at which point he turned his back and took the call without a word. It was clear I wasn't going to get any help from him. Thankfully, a female manager stepped in and assisted me with my purchase. While I appreciated her help, the overall experience left a bad impression. I've been a loyal customer for years, but after this visit, I won't be returning to the Placerville location.

    Bought snow chains as a precaution going to Lake Tahoe. Initially they were a great help, finding…read morethe correct size. End up not needing them, so on the way back to return the unused chains, was rudely told, are you not aware of all sales final on snow chains. They had 1 printed sign on the opposite counter than we were at at the time. I told them we were never told. Then told us tough luck. According to California Civil code 1723 "by not clearly displaying their limited or no return policy, you can return the purchased item with proof of purchase for a full refund within 30 days." "they must conspicuously display that policy in the store and/or on their website. Examples of Conspicuous Display: This can include signs at each register and sales counter, at the public entrance, on tags for goods the policy applies to, or on order forms." I have attempted to return at other NAP, but was told they cannot because they don't carry the item in their store. (Bay area store) I've contacted NAP CS to notify of the poorly handling of their so called" policy "

    I usually get excellent service at AutoZone, not today, not at the Placerville store…read more I walk in, and there was one employee in the store. He was helping another person. I didn't get a "hi", an " I'll be right with you, " absolutely, no acknowledgment that I was even standing there. After a couple of minutes, I politely cleared my throat, still, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Another employee who seemed to be helping another person out in the parking lot, walked into the store, and as he walked past me, I politely said,"excuse me". I was going to simply ask if he was almost done. Again, no eye contact, no acknowledgment whatsoever. He just kept walking. After waiting for five minutes or so, I just walked out. It's amazing how far a simple "hi, I'll be right with you" , can go. I was heading "down the hill" anyway, so I stopped into the Rancho Cordova store. The gentleman who helped me was beyond friendly and helpful. I explained to him what happened to me in the Placerville store, and his exact words were, "that's unacceptable." He said that when a customer comes into AutoZone, they are supposed to be greeted within 30 seconds of walking into the store. Guess what? It didn't happen in the Placerville store. Consider the Placerville AutoZone off my list.
