I love being able to go buy the parts for my vehicle. I can have my husband replace them cheaper then the auto shop. Especially when the radiator hose goes out. My husband went in bought the hose and replaced it at home. We have also had to stop and get new headlights because a light bulb was out. He didnt have the tools so he asked if thry had any he could use. They let him borrow what they had available and he changed the lights right there. I also love that they check batteries and alternator.

Then she did a diagnostic test to help me find out if it was just a dead battery or if it was my alternator.

I didn't get a "hi", an " I'll be right with you, " absolutely, no acknowledgment that I was even standing there. After a couple of minutes, I politely cleared my throat, still, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Another employee who seemed to be helping another person out in the parking lot, walked into the store, and as he walked past me, I politely said,"excuse me". I was going to simply ask if he was almost done. Again, no eye contact, no acknowledgment whatsoever. He just kept walking. After waiting for five minutes or so, I just walked out. It's amazing how far a simple "hi, I'll be right with you" , can go. I was heading "down the hill" anyway, so I stopped into the Rancho Cordova store. The gentleman who helped me was beyond friendly and helpful. I explained to him what happened to me in the Placerville store, and his exact words were, "that's unacceptable." He said that when a customer comes into AutoZone, they are supposed to be greeted within 30 seconds of walking into the store. Guess what? It didn't happen in the Placerville store. Consider the Placerville AutoZone off my list.

Instead of a simple response, I was met with a dismissive grunt and an attitude that made it clear I wasn't welcome. Trying to move past it, I asked about a part I needed and some additional supplies. The clerk didn't respond--just stared at me until the phone rang, at which point he turned his back and took the call without a word. It was clear I wasn't going to get any help from him. Thankfully, a female manager stepped in and assisted me with my purchase. While I appreciated her help, the overall experience left a bad impression. I've been a loyal customer for years, but after this visit, I won't be returning to the Placerville location.

"they must conspicuously display that policy in the store and/or on their website. I am disabled...legally deaf and had recently torn my meniscus so I put my leg up on another chair to rest. The TV is the waiting room was very loud and had some kind of old western moblvie with gun shots non-stop. My phone rang and it was my doctor. With no remote in site, I got up to turn TV down to hear my doctor. I accidentally pushed the channel button. It made it quiet though.Moments later While on the phone with my doctor, the horrid old woman from the auto desk cones in and basically yells at me. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TV?! I reply I needed it turned down and pushed the channel button once accidentally. She literally growls, shakes her head and swings the TV so hard it slams into the wall. Shocked by her aggressive, unprofessional and rude nature...I watch her put her western show back on amd turn it up to max volume. WHAT A PIECE OF WORK! WOW! About 40 minutes later... Pulled my car out and said it was done. Noticed that the tires had NOT been rotated. The exceptionally grotesque old woman at the counter snapped at her fellow co-workers and asked why. Then snapped at me and stated that the tires were too bald to rotate. Using an assumulative tone like I should have known. I explained I bought the tires 2 months ago. She blamed my driving technique. Told me to check my alignment. I asked if I can get an estimate. She huffed and said she didn't have time for that sh!t. Not wanting to deal with any more of this disgusting personality, I left.
