Deer damage
John R.

I had some damage done to my Toyota Tacoma. I had hit a deer. I tried to get some other body shops to do the work. They were all booked, so I wound up having Fulmer's Auto Body shop do the work. I was really happy with the work that they did. I would recommend them if you need any body work done on your vehicle.

Crack reservoir

CA Bureau of Auto Repair License number ARD00253998 Where do I begin? My fleet vehicle was with them for weeks. They called me toward the end of day to let me know it needed to be picked up. I live over an hour away but I dropped everything to rush out there before they closed. Unfortunately, my vehicle was not repaired correctly. The windshield wiper reservoir was visibly cracked but because it still holds fluid in the bottom they claimed the repair wasn't authorized. The only issue is that you cannot fill it up or fluid will leak out. The alignment wasn't done. They claimed that the damage didn't warrant an alignment. A huge 4 point buck hit my car and you don't think the alignment is off? That's automotive 101. The most annoying thing is the hood latch sensor. They rigged it so it was fine at pick up. But the minute you open the hood the sensor will not recognize that it has been closed again. This results in constant high pitched beeping while driving. The owner of this establishment accused me of yelling at her because my tone was rightfully frustrated. She claimed to be the middle man. When I asked to speak to the owner she said she is the owner. Then you are not the middle man, you are literally the one saying the repairs are done. They were not! My car had to be taken to the dealership because the Fulmer's refused to help me despite this being their responsibility. I was stranded for hours over an hour away from home because of their ineptitude. And when I asked them for their CA Bureau of Automotive Repair license number they refused to give it to me and demanded I get it from Enterprise fleet. This is illegal in the state of CA. You are required to give you BAR license number when asked. This place needs to be shut down if they can't adhere to our state laws. Almost $10k repair and they couldn't get it right. Update; The dealership called and said the alignment needed to be done, the windshield wiper reservoir needs to be replaced and that's 2 hours of labor to remove and replace (could have been done while the car was in pieces) and the hood latch needs to be removed and reinstalled correctly. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else if you can help it. This was an additional $1171 in repairs. Front the original estimate of roughly $7700, to well over $10,000.

YOU WILL WANT TO READ THIS REVIEW!…read more I used this company because I wanted to use a local company. I was going to get two jeeps sprayed but reduced it to one just in case. Good thing I did. I asked if they would be able to remove certain items and screws instead of spraying over them. I was told not an issue at all. I brought my jeep in and showed them exactly what I wanted done. I left feeling they had a good understanding.. That was not the case! When I came to pick up my jeep I was told that they had broke one of my bolts "due to rust" and they were too scared to take the rest out. The bolt they broke was the door bolt nut. I have taken these off and on several times throughout the year and never had any issues at all with them. Then I was directed to some side mirror mounts where the worker said he could not get them undone at all. So instead of calling me and asking... he just line X'd the whole thing. He did not even try and remove any screws or tape over any screw or bolt heads.. pretty much did a lazy get it done LineX job. Only reason this is not a 1 star is due to the actual lineX itself. It looks decent but I am sure I am going to have issues down the road. I would avoid this location at all cost! After my issues my neighbor and some of my 4 wheel buddies said they had the same issues there. (thanks for telling me after).

Another employee was also extremely pleasant but I didn't get her name. My car looks even better than I could have imagined. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I've already recommended them to friends and family.

Update Michael Justis blocked me after confronting him as feels threatened;…read more His response "Your recent review and the way you have been communicating with me have crossed the line from a customer concern into something that is disrespectful and malicious. Involving and promoting other shops in your review while making accusations about our work is inappropriate and unfair, especially when those businesses were not part of the original transaction. Because of the tone and conduct in your messages, you will not be meeting with me or any of my staff on Monday or at any other time going forward. I will not tolerate being spoken to in the manner you have been addressing me. If you believe you have a warranty concern related to XPEL products, I am happy to refer you to another certified XPEL installer who can assist you with evaluating or processing any potential warranty claim. That would be the appropriate path moving forward. I wish you the best and hope you are able to resolve your concerns through another certified shop." keep in mind he's the one who contacted and showed up first . to multiple shops after I chose his competitor(s) haven't seen this man since 2024. Not even asking for free work or anything warranty related. After he did this whole act he must be called out especially as an adult business owner with a law degree like himself. My response; Michael Justis This response is exactly what I expected. Instead of addressing the workmanship concerns, you're choosing to label my feedback as malicious and shut down any opportunity to actually review the issues. What's inappropriate is refusing to stand behind your work when a customer raises legitimate concerns after spending around $7,500 on a full vehicle wrap and related services. My intention was simply to have a professional conversation and give you the opportunity to inspect the areas I mentioned. Multiple installers have already pointed out the same issues with visible edges and areas that were not properly tucked. That's not an accusation--it's a quality concern. Your decision not to even look at the vehicle or discuss a resolution speaks for itself. I will continue addressing the issues with another certified installer as suggested. Take care.
