We called them Friday afternoon to be told they had an issue with the painter and would not get to it on Monday day. We did not get it till the next Friday. Every time I f*** up my car Placerville body shop makes it better than it was before. Unfortunately I do this more often than I'd like to admit; they have fixed so many of my vehicles. I'm a woman driver, and even though I like to believe I'm a better driver than some of these other crazy Cruella DeVil wannabees I'm only human and I f*** up from time to time. They fixed my Subaru when I hit an animal on the freeway, and again when I f***** it up more thoroughly in an involuntary off-road session. They fixed my Jetta, when I messed that up. They fixed my friends F-150 when I backed into her b/c I'm a doofus. And they fixed my F-150 from my f*** up when I backed into her. They also fixed one of our fleet F-150s. Seriously everytime I mess up P*Ville Body Shop bails me out and the vehicle literally always comes back to me better than before I f***** it up. I pretty much just have my mistake towed to them from the crash site *if necessary* and they take care of it. Keep my card on file, because there's a good chance y'all will see me again, eventually. Maybe they should make a frequent eff up card, I'm sure I could have a few punches knocked out of that card. read more

I scraped the trim off the side of my car on a rock. I saved the pieces and drove over to the shop. I stopped at the little office where a young lady looked at the pieces and thought maybe they could be popped in. I was there less than 30 minutes and it was done! Placerville Body Shop is the absolute best around. They are friendly, helpful beyond belief, honest, fair and do a great job. My first experience with them was about 9 years ago and unfortunately for me I had to use them 3 more times. Fortunately for me they do a great job. I have had a deer hit my car, a snow truck hit my Durango, a stupid driver hit my car and then something in the road. I drove over 35 miles to use them because I felt it was worth it. I am one of those people who write a bad review if I feel it's deserved so I make sure I write a good one if its deserved also. Trust me this good review is because they do a great job. read more

I went in recently b/c my spouse's truck had some scrapes along the passenger side on the bed, and the truck is 2015 so we wanted to keep it nice. Mandy suggested I go to a detail shop that did a really good job on such things, to see if it could be buffed out without paying an arm and a leg, which was much easier on the wallet. She could have quoted us a price and convinced us we needed to get it repaired, but she was honest and told us our first step. Turns out the buffing took care of the scratches and white rub off, and now we have the nice truck bed back for just $50. Thanks to this business and its honesty. read more

First of all, DON'T let the insurance company talk you into using "their" body shop. I asked around and most recommended Placerville Body Shop. My wife's car got hit and needed about $5K in body work. We went through the other drivers insurance, (Allstate). Mike and Joanne at PBS were awesome to deal with. They took care of everything from dealing with Allstate to coordinating the rental car. The result was fantastic. Car looked like new, and the color match was perfect. They even dehazed and cleaned up the opposite headlight just so it matched the side that they worked on. Very pleasant experience all around. Would highly recommend. read more
