I was introduced to Mike about a year ago. Between my older Chevy truck and my Honda, he's helped me with a few issues including alternators, full 4 tires, even simple oil changes. My requests have always been fulfilled well within 24 hrs, even the tougher ones. read more

Thanks Granger Tire and Automotive Service. You really took care of me. I was impressed with this local business for the ability to schedule my tires in a timely manner. I DID NOT feel like just another number in the system. I liked how they could order any brand of tires and for a competitive price. I shopped around and did research online and took into consideration the gas money and time it would take to drive down to Folsom/Sacramento to national tire franchise or having to pay for shipping through a discounter such as Tire Rack and came out ahead thanks to Granger. I truly saved money , all while supporting a local business, not to shabby. Something to note for the future since it does have a automotive department that offers brake and oil service, alignments, and an array of other services, all at very REASONABLE prices too. read more

I am not a customer i am a vendor. This company bounced checks and ignores paying back for product he buys from vendors. I would not do business ever with people like this. I have sent people to collect and always get run around. I personally call and i get he is on vacation. Almost a year and cant pay off a bounced check. Making profit on customers and cheating suppliers. Michael Granger is the owner check signer. Please call me at 916-257-4625 to pay off your amount due to me. read more

I brought my car into Granger for the first time for an emergency repair. I would refer people to this business without hesitation. Mike took care of my vehicle issue on a Saturday and got me right back on the road again. He went the extra mile and fixed a couple of minor things such as my loose hood latch and spoiler without being asked or even mentioning it, and at no extra charge. In my opinion, Granger knows how to run a business and take care of their customers. They definitely have my future business, without question. read more

Got into a small accident, my Rim, and tire arm among a few other things were bent in the process. I had a family member suggest this Auto Shop as he could realign as well. Just got my car back and am very very thankful for the high quality work and how fast he got my car back to me. Will continue to always bring my car to a great guy and local business. read more

Worst customer service and refused to replace a blown out tire 3 months after we bought a new set. The tire tread literally came off the tire. They were rude to my 18 year old daughter and told her it wasnt their fault. Charged her $100 to replace the defective tire. read more

Absolutely the most honest shop around I have use Mike and his crew for tires and auto service and I always leave 100% percent happy

Checking prices on tires sweet guys here helpful!

I have a friend that needed help with getting some new tires put on and another friend suggested this place because he knows someone that works there and said "he's a nice guy and we should support the small local shops". Beyond my better judgement, I went back there with his and his Father's vehicles to have new tires put on and the owner denied us service, brought up the last time I was there when they lost my center cap that you can't find anymore and then straight out lied to our face when he claimed that they offered to replace it. His buddy looked on ebay and suggested replacing my original cap with a cheap Chinese replacement and btw...IT WASN'T EVEN THE SAME CAP. Morons!! Not only did they lose those two people as customers that day, but when we went back and told the guy that suggested we go there in the first place and his buddies that were hanging out...I'd say they lost another 3 or 4 customers. We took the vehicles to the tire shop in downtown P'ville and suggest you do the same because they are also a "small, local shop" that won't lie directly to your face. read more

Last year I changed the battery in my Corvette, which messed up the entire computer system. I had it towed to Granger Automotive, and they quickly had it up and running in no time. The charge was a reasonable $160. Months later the car started having the same symptoms and eventually would not even start. Granger had an ad stating that they would tow your car to their shop if they did the repairs. I called to request a tow, only to be told they didn't have a tow truck. This is false advertising. I had to have the car towed to them a second time, and never received a spoken or written estimate. When I picked up the Corvette, the charge was $269.37. I questioned the owner, Mike, as to what the problem was and what they did (especially since they were the ones who fixed it the first time). He was unfriendly and short in his answer, and told me I never should have changed the battery in the first place. I will be going somewhere else the next time I need any car repairs. read more
