We had purchased a new Toyota Prius a week ago. Priuses are number 1 for catalytic converter…read morethefts in California because of the high content precious metals used in the CATS and the fact that the engine isn't on all the time depleting the precious metals. The precious metals are platinum, palladium, and rhodium. I ordered a Miller CAT catalytic converter shield direct from the factory for $200. I opted for the stainless steel version instead of the aluminum version as it slows down the thieves if they're using a Sawzall to cut through it. Miller CAT shields use patented proprietary high security screws so either thieves have to drill the screws out or cut through the steel plate. The local Toyota dealer wanted $306 labor. Ken, the owner squeeze me in on a Monday (which is probably their busiest day) with drive shafts and other work coming in. This is a busy shop! I am a part time teacher for automotive and diesel technology at 2 local high schools, I could have done it myself. I could have used the school's 2 post lift but that takes away from students. Ken and his staff installed the Miller CAT shield and properly torqued the proprietary high security screws in about an hour. The bill was well below what the dealer would have charged. I highly recommend ADCO. They are extremely competent and honest.

I want to give a huge thank you to the Napa Auto Parts team in Shingle Springs. The manager and…read morestaff were professional, understanding, and truly customer-oriented. Unlike several Sacramento locations, they used common sense and were willing to help me replace a battery that was still under warranty, even though I couldn't locate the receipt. They treated me with empathy, listened to the situation, and simply did what was right for the customer. That level of service is rare these days. I drove all the way from Sacramento because of how helpful they were, and it was absolutely worth it. Hats off to the Shingle Springs team for being community-focused, people-driven, and running their business the right way. I only wish more stores operated with the same mindset.

Would like to give 0 stars. I don't know how they're even open anymore. I called over the phone to…read moresee if I had a warranty still on some parts, the manager Sandy picked up and talked me like she was too annoyed to talk to me. She was very hesistant in giving me any information about whether or not they actually had parts in stock, it was all maybes and probablies. Later I show up to buy the parts, and bring the old ones back to warranty out. They wouldn't allow me to warranty them because apparently they're master mechanics that can diagnose cars without even looking at them or the old parts.I told them I checked the caliper pistons and guide pins to make sure they weren't sticking or seized or that my brake hoses weren't twisted or damaged, they had an employee that was off the clock that decided to butt in and repeat what I said and asked if I checked those items. The problem is with their garbage parts they sell. The new brakes I got from oreillys a while back now have a little well over 10k miles and they've worn out nice and evenly, but apparently Sandy and her team like to argue and not be of help. Also won't be returning because of all the racist comments I heard from the older employees working there some months back. This place is not very helpful, I recommend autozone or oreillys

Update Michael Justis blocked me after confronting him as feels threatened;…read more His response "Your recent review and the way you have been communicating with me have crossed the line from a customer concern into something that is disrespectful and malicious. Involving and promoting other shops in your review while making accusations about our work is inappropriate and unfair, especially when those businesses were not part of the original transaction. Because of the tone and conduct in your messages, you will not be meeting with me or any of my staff on Monday or at any other time going forward. I will not tolerate being spoken to in the manner you have been addressing me. If you believe you have a warranty concern related to XPEL products, I am happy to refer you to another certified XPEL installer who can assist you with evaluating or processing any potential warranty claim. That would be the appropriate path moving forward. I wish you the best and hope you are able to resolve your concerns through another certified shop." keep in mind he's the one who contacted and showed up first . to multiple shops after I chose his competitor(s) haven't seen this man since 2024. Not even asking for free work or anything warranty related. After he did this whole act he must be called out especially as an adult business owner with a law degree like himself. My response; Michael Justis This response is exactly what I expected. Instead of addressing the workmanship concerns, you're choosing to label my feedback as malicious and shut down any opportunity to actually review the issues. What's inappropriate is refusing to stand behind your work when a customer raises legitimate concerns after spending around $7,500 on a full vehicle wrap and related services. My intention was simply to have a professional conversation and give you the opportunity to inspect the areas I mentioned. Multiple installers have already pointed out the same issues with visible edges and areas that were not properly tucked. That's not an accusation--it's a quality concern. Your decision not to even look at the vehicle or discuss a resolution speaks for itself. I will continue addressing the issues with another certified installer as suggested. Take care.
