The first…read moreemployee I spoke with was helpful--he looked at the photo I brought, confirmed the type, and told me to bring my car back so an employee could help install them since they can be tricky. I returned not even 30 minutes later, and that's when I met James--the only employee on shift at the time. Unfortunately, this quickly turned into one of the most uncomfortable and longest customer service experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, James shared (unsolicited) how much pain he's in, how he has a limp from surgeries, and how he just doesn't care about anything anymore. While attempting to install my wipers (which he struggled with), multiple customers entered the store and waited to be helped. I politely told James he could go help them first, and he responded by saying, "I don't care at all," and even pointed out that *"one of them is a known thief"--*again, saying he didn't care. I ended up walking inside to apologize to the waiting customers because James flat-out refused to come in and assist them. The entire experience was bizarre, incredibly awkward, and unprofessional. I will never return to this location again solely because I might encounter James again.

I want to give a huge thank you to the Napa Auto Parts team in Shingle Springs. The manager and…read morestaff were professional, understanding, and truly customer-oriented. Unlike several Sacramento locations, they used common sense and were willing to help me replace a battery that was still under warranty, even though I couldn't locate the receipt. They treated me with empathy, listened to the situation, and simply did what was right for the customer. That level of service is rare these days. I drove all the way from Sacramento because of how helpful they were, and it was absolutely worth it. Hats off to the Shingle Springs team for being community-focused, people-driven, and running their business the right way. I only wish more stores operated with the same mindset.

I called over the phone to…read moresee if I had a warranty still on some parts, the manager Sandy picked up and talked me like she was too annoyed to talk to me. She was very hesistant in giving me any information about whether or not they actually had parts in stock, it was all maybes and probablies. Later I show up to buy the parts, and bring the old ones back to warranty out. They wouldn't allow me to warranty them because apparently they're master mechanics that can diagnose cars without even looking at them or the old parts.I told them I checked the caliper pistons and guide pins to make sure they weren't sticking or seized or that my brake hoses weren't twisted or damaged, they had an employee that was off the clock that decided to butt in and repeat what I said and asked if I checked those items. The problem is with their garbage parts they sell. The new brakes I got from oreillys a while back now have a little well over 10k miles and they've worn out nice and evenly, but apparently Sandy and her team like to argue and not be of help. Also won't be returning because of all the racist comments I heard from the older employees working there some months back. This place is not very helpful, I recommend autozone or oreillys

Overall: great personable service and technical work…read more Through their website, I sent an email request for an estimate on a triple transmission fluid flush. Mike called me the next day with an estimate. I had concerns that their procedure deviates from the Technical Service Bulletin that I pulled for the car's specific issue, but he thoroughly addressed these concerns professionally. I decided to go with ASU and called the next week to book and appointment for the following day. They took care of it and Mike answered post-procedure questions. He showed me where the location in-line filter, which was in a hard to access space, and a sample of the drained fluid. Now my minivan is driving great and the transmission shifting smoothly. His Office Manager, I think his wife, was great too and took a request from me for an estimate for work on another car.

The precious metals are platinum, palladium, and rhodium. I ordered a Miller CAT catalytic converter shield direct from the factory for $200. I opted for the stainless steel version instead of the aluminum version as it slows down the thieves if they're using a Sawzall to cut through it. Miller CAT shields use patented proprietary high security screws so either thieves have to drill the screws out or cut through the steel plate. The local Toyota dealer wanted $306 labor.
