A friend…read morerecommended him, and after diagnosing the issue, we decided to do a full GX-to-FJ transfer case conversion instead of just replacing the original transfer case. While the truck was apart, Alex performed a thorough inspection and pointed out a few other items that were worth addressing. We ended up installing new lower control arms, upgrading to a GX460 steering rack, Marlin Crawler cam tab subframe reinforcements and spindle gussets, and having him install suspension as well. As someone who's new to the 4x4 world, I really appreciated how communicative Alex was throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and gave honest recommendations based on how I actually plan to use the vehicle rather than trying to upsell unnecessary parts. The quality of the work and attention to detail were excellent, and I left feeling much more confident in both the build and my understanding of it. 10/10--I'd absolutely recommend SupremeFab to anyone looking for quality off-road fabrication, suspension work, or drivetrain upgrades.

We had purchased a new Toyota Prius a week ago. Priuses are number 1 for catalytic converter…read morethefts in California because of the high content precious metals used in the CATS and the fact that the engine isn't on all the time depleting the precious metals. The precious metals are platinum, palladium, and rhodium. I ordered a Miller CAT catalytic converter shield direct from the factory for $200. I opted for the stainless steel version instead of the aluminum version as it slows down the thieves if they're using a Sawzall to cut through it. Miller CAT shields use patented proprietary high security screws so either thieves have to drill the screws out or cut through the steel plate. The local Toyota dealer wanted $306 labor. Ken, the owner squeeze me in on a Monday (which is probably their busiest day) with drive shafts and other work coming in. This is a busy shop! I am a part time teacher for automotive and diesel technology at 2 local high schools, I could have done it myself. I could have used the school's 2 post lift but that takes away from students. Ken and his staff installed the Miller CAT shield and properly torqued the proprietary high security screws in about an hour. The bill was well below what the dealer would have charged. I highly recommend ADCO. They are extremely competent and honest.

Great mechanical work, but ask for explicit quotes on any custom installs…read more I've brought my Sportster to Shepleys in the past and they've always done good work--and to be fair, the tire install on this visit was done right and without any issues. ​However, I'm writing this review to advise other riders to be extremely clear about communication before leaving your bike for extra work. ​I brought in a set of Motohorn Dual Track horns for them to mount while it was in the shop. Instead of calling to give me an update or confirm pricing, they proceeded with a "custom modification" that added over $300 in labor to the final bill. The modification turned out to be a simple 12-inch metal bar with three holes drilled into it to create a bracket. ​As someone who works around metal fabrication daily, paying 3+ hours of shop labor for a basic piece of drilled scrap flat stock--without receiving a single phone call or heads-up first--was a huge disappointment. Had they called, I could have easily had a bracket made at work for free or figured out an alternative solution. ​Shepleys is a solid V-twin shop, but the lack of communication on unexpected custom labor cost me hundreds of dollars. If you're bringing in aftermarket parts or non-standard jobs, make sure to explicitly demand a call for approval before they perform any custom work.
