And the Dentist was the same, and gave him a pep talk to stop sucking his fingers that my son took to heart. He says he's ready now. Up until now my 4 year old had been going with me to my family dentist, which works great for adults but they weren't well suited for kids. He would sit patiently while they would move slowly through the visit and lose his interest, then use adult size tools for x-rays. He hated it. I wanted him to feel positive about the dentist visits. This was so delightful, when we got in the car my 4 year old asked "can we go back there?" I can't say enough good things! I'm scheduling my 2 year old.

After (2) different primary dentist visits, both had the same results of 14 cavities. We have been faithfully going every 6 months. Not once have we ever been told about any issues. So much for preventive care. We can't wrap around on how an individual can get 14 cavities within a year... Dr Rick and staff are clearly not doing their job. Shame on you. They would tell me that the Maryland Bridge is outdated. Nobody uses that technology anymore, everybody uses implants now . The west coast is ALL about implants. They'll try to tap into your insecurities to persuade you into changing your mind. It's truly surprising how relentless they are. My bridge came out and no one would offer a solution to what I wanted. It was ALL about what they wanted and how they felt about it. It doesn't matter if I go to Beverly Hills, Encino, Venice, the valley, 5 star ratings and reviews, THEY ALL SUCK! Almost $1000 later, a tore up mouth from the new "stay plate" (that didn't stay in my mouth) made by another new dentist, feeling discourage, upset, and mad over every LA dentists pushing implants that would cost me 10k. I got on a plane from LAX and came here to finally get my teeth fixed by professionals!! I can't thank Dr. Michelle Singapori enough for fixing my HUGE problem! I was out of my network for health insurance but they made it really affordable for me. I paid less out of pocket at Dr Singapori office to fix me, then being in network in LA and paying to see new dentists to help me fix my problem. If I was my insurance I would pay them. The next day they told me they had an opening and I was able to go at the open time slots. Everything done via text. Very efficient. The entire staff was great. I got X-rays and a cleaning. They kept checking in to see if I was ok, and if I'm doing good. They even allow you to put on anything you want on Netflix if you want. Never had a dentist offer that haha The cleaning went great. Fast, and pain free. I've had some pretty rough cleanings before, this was as pleasant as it could be. I am coming back in to get a new retainer. And before I left they gave me an estimate of how much it would cost and they put me on the calendar for the return visit.

She then suggested I come in when Dr Yum was back in the office which we did! The office has a toy area, books, coloring station and Movies playing for the kids. You can tell from the minute you walk in that the staff truly care about children. Dr Yum was fantastic and wanted to make my son feel comfortable. She let him bring a toy back with him and sit on my lap while they took a look. For a first visit, they just wanted to see his how his mouth was healing and we will schedule an actual cleaning once he was 100%. They charged me about 450$ for nitrous gas and the treatment. He would not sit still. He has terrible anxiety about the noise and the look of the instruments. The Dr. who was extremely pleasant and patient said she would give him a temporary sealant. This temporary sealant fell off while we were flossing and brushing. They set up a new appointment and quoted me 105$ and after we went the second time the charge was 275$. How did something go from 105 to 275? 675$ for one tooth that was never filled after three visits? Sinful. Today we went to get the regular check up at our dentist around the corner. The dentist told me that whatever they filled the tooth with has fallen out. I'm 675 plus out of pocket and there is still a cavity in his mouth that has not been filled. This Yummy dental is a scam for either people who have money to burn or your insurance covers everything. Will never be going there again. I'd like my money back. Send me a check.
