MY HEROS! I've lived in Los Angeles for nearly 20 years and have always had bad luck with dentist. Every new dentist visit was met with laughter, finger pointing, and bringing colleagues in to show them what they're seeing in my mouth . They would tell me that the Maryland Bridge is outdated. Nobody uses that technology anymore, everybody uses implants now . The west coast is ALL about implants. They'll try to tap into your insecurities to persuade you into changing your mind. It's truly surprising how relentless they are. My bridge came out and no one would offer a solution to what I wanted. It was ALL about what they wanted and how they felt about it. It doesn't matter if I go to Beverly Hills, Encino, Venice, the valley, 5 star ratings and reviews, THEY ALL SUCK! Almost $1000 later, a tore up mouth from the new "stay plate" (that didn't stay in my mouth) made by another new dentist, feeling discourage, upset, and mad over every LA dentists pushing implants that would cost me 10k. I got on a plane from LAX and came here to finally get my teeth fixed by professionals!! I can't thank Dr. Michelle Singapori enough for fixing my HUGE problem! I was out of my network for health insurance but they made it really affordable for me. I paid less out of pocket at Dr Singapori office to fix me, then being in network in LA and paying to see new dentists to help me fix my problem. If I was my insurance I would pay them. Wow. Just....Wow I have needed some non typical dental help in the past. So when my dentists retired, I needed to find one that would care and be interested to help, a dentist with a special touch, ( jaw issues) a little bedside manner and lots of skill. I found Forest Dental North in Lake Bluff off of Waukegan Rd / Route 43. Specifically, I found Dr. Michelle Singapori. There are other dentists here too and I'm figuring they are all exceptional, because everything about this place is top notch. This place is run well, tight, efficient, with state of the art machines and gadgets (which cuts down on Dr. visits with the on location, in house, same day services) Everyone performs at the, above-and-beyond levels. From the front desk to the assistants and hygienists. Not that it matters ..... but everyone is also easy on the eyes. After exam, they will write up the plan for what they propose and recommend, which will include the prices and you will get to approve and sign or discuss options. It's all very understandable, written down easy and nice and short and nothing hidden. They must purposely make it a point to be personal and friendly and calming. Even in the waiting room the second you come in the door, you'll experience it. In every room there are tv screens. A great attention stealer if you're prone to anxiety. There are also windows so you don't feel closed in. After impressing, a hard-to-impress member of my family with her knowledge, skill and touch, Dr. Michelle Singapori is now our family's dentist. Dr. Singapori was hands down the best dentist I've seen in my entire life. I went into the office with tooth pain and it was excruciating. She was very caring and very attentive. This was our second visit to Forest North, and I write regarding treatments for my 21-year-old daughter. Wow, just wow. I would sing the praises of this place from the rooftops of Lake Bluff if they'd let me. Every single person in there, desk staff, technicians, doctors, and even the clientele, are just the nicest, friendliest people ever! Going to the dentist is literally a treat. Comfort of the patient (and whoever is waiting there for them) is a big concern at Forest North. My daughter experienced little or no pain at her visits, and one of those included getting a crown in addition to two cavities filled! Comfy waiting area with excellent coffee and other amenities, and services are very reasonably priced. Bite wing X-rays are comfortable and not like the painful cardboard inserts used by other dentists. Dr. Rosenblatt is gentle, listens to patients's problems...explains in detail what to expect if any procedure is necessary. His is reassuring during any procedure and makes sure there is as little discomfort as possible. I had a crown procedure and while he was working on my procedure, I raised my hand to stop and asked how much longer? It was done. When I left, went grocery shopping at Heinens. No pain or discomfort. Oops...Didn't mention his awesome staff! You walk in the open airy contemporary reception room and are greeted by two charming receptionists. Usually no wait for appointment.
