Very nice, and helpful. Went in looking for a tactical vest. The owner let me try it, on and showed me how to adjust it. Wide selection of weapons, from paintball to airsoft. Pretty sure I even saw a gel gun. And great value. Same price as places like Amazon, or lancer tactical. And bbs are cheaper than at Playland 707. Would recommend for anyone looking to get into airsoft or paintball read more

Excellent service, got my Etha 3 electric from them with the barrel kit and everything else at a great price, also was very helpful with picking out the right paintball marker for me and it was exactly what I had been looking for read more

Gabe is the man! He is always so helpful and has so much knowledge, I look forward to going in every week to see him and learn more about paintball. Amazing person all around and the shop always has exactly what you need from beginning your paintball or air-soft experience to becoming a pro on the field. The prices are affordable and the stock they have is huge! read more

I just wanted to give a big shout out and thank you to 31st Outfitters and Ty. I bought my son an air soft gun for Christmas and it had a loading issue. Ty was super helpful and knowledgeable. He took care of the problem and tested its velocity in a couple of minutes. If you are thinking about getting into paintball or air soft this is the place. Note: they just moved to 8079 La Plaza. It's 4 minutes away. I'm read more

Another great experience with Thirty First Outfitters. Ryan and Gabe are always helpful and had items that I've been needing for a while(protection gear). I was looking into getting a new paintball marker and decided to go with the MacDev Prime XTS. I contacted the store and the owner, Ryan, was nothing but awesome in helping me get one! I ordered it over the phone and received my new prime within 2 days!!! My marker even came with extra goodies! Ryan was very helpful and made sure I was taken care of! I will definitely be ordering from them again! If I am ever in the Cotati area, I am definitely stopping by the store!!! Thank you to Ryan and the whole Thirty First Outfitter staff for helping me get my new marker!!! read more

Thirty First Outfitters - MacDev Prime XTS - Outdoor Gear Near Me - Cotati, California

Ryan and Gabe always make it right! Big selection on stuff, and very reasonable prices for brick and mortar store. I implore you to shop here instead, you are paying the same with shipping from an online store but with so much more benefits. You can consult, and make no first purchase mistake, get the right replica and the right accessories for it. You can consult beyond the guns but also best and safest practices when doing these sports! read more

This is the best airsoft place in the area, Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, cotati, Petaluma, ect. There's like three people who work there, all of which are super nice and knowledgeable, highly recommend for anyone in the airsoft hobby or wanting to start, have a good time!! read more

Super cool store. Rookie mom and son walk in interested in expanding from Paintball and steal BBs. We got a lot of information and i dont know his name, but he walked my son into all the details of owning an airsoft pistol. Way better experience with 1 on 1 attention from a specialist vs going blind and reading amazon reviews. I am considering getting one for myself for less expensive target practice. Would definitely call this my 'go to' store. Great customer service. read more

Once again Ryan showed me the way.... MacDev Clone 5s.....Gabe assisted with the setup....and met THE MacDev James Grundy....AWESOME customer service. I drove out of the way and was not disappointed.....Northern California MacDev support is a great thing.....I had a MacDev Cyborg 2006.....I now own a MacDev Cyborg 6 and MacDev Clone 5s!!!! I appreciate paintball players that keep the sport going by providing products and places to play....PLAYER SINCE 1988! THANKS TO RYAN, GABE AND JAMES!!! read more

Is it a 1990's style 1800-paintball/ I&I sports warehouse? No. Just a solid business owner trying to provide airsoft and paintball supplies. If you play the sport. Support the sport. Period. Got my new mask, spare lens, jersey, and Ninja SL68 carbon fiber wrapped air tank! If you want that try before you buy, and use and return then take your BS to Amazon. read more

Love this place! I love the low pressure sales. Gabe asked if we wanted to see anything or had any questions and then let us browse without being pushy, loved it! When we did have a question or wanted to check anything out, he was on top of it immediately, the customer service is amazing! In the many, many times we've been back, Gabe and Ryan have always been able to help with any need, fix or answer. We'll be coming here for life! And recommend 31st to everyone and anyone interested in airsoft and/or paintball. read more

I am pretty new to paintball... I started playing about three months ago and I am hooked. Ryan (the owner of Thirty First) manages the local Escape indoor paintball field and he was one of the first people I interacted with at Escape. Both my wife and I felt very welcomed as newbies to the sport at Escape. After this good experience we visited Thirty First to purchase paint and some other paintball stuff. Ryan is super knowledgeable about anything paintball (he's a pro paintballer after all). Almost any gun, hopper, equipment, etc... he can tell you the pros and cons of it, etc. He doesn't try to sell you stuff you don't need so no pressure sales at all. I really like having a local store where I can get help with my gun when I need it or order parts, etc. He can probably fix any gun and he's fast. He's very friendly and honest and you get great customer service. The prices are what you would pay online but you get the local support. You really can't ask for more from a shop. We have taken our guns there for repair, bought equipment including hoppers, jerseys, parts, etc. We have had lots of transactions with this store in the last few months and they have all been great. read more

The staff are a bunch of dbags. They fill co2 tanks but not air tanks. You can't return things, even 15 minutes after purchase. But you can get an in-store credit, like I would want any of the tacky stuff in there. Avoid at all cost if you value work ethic, reliability and returns. read more

Helpful staff, helped me out with a paintball gun I just bought. Great place for beginners, even thought they were extremely busy the playing area never felt over crowded and we never waited that long between rounds. Finding the place is a challenge I've been twice and each time the entrance moved and parking is annoying. Otherwise pretty great experience. read more

Great to see some brick and motar paintball stores around. I found this place by accident when I was meeting some friends at the brewery next door. They have a great amount of stock and guns ranging from beginner to professional. Lots of paint options, and if your into air soft stuff. The owner also has fields too. If your new, or you enjoy having these kinda stores still around shop local! read more

Be warned. I purchased an item to see if it would fit my gun.... It did not. At no point was I ever told there are no returns, there's no signage or anything. All they offer is store credit, so they basically take back the item, unused, give you a credit you may or may not ever use, and resell the item. To me it's akin to thievery. I go above and beyond to satisfy my customers, unfortunately this was not the case here. Too bad as they lost a customer over a silly policy. Exactly what I expected. Instead of turning this into a moment to shine, to say like hey Ryan, that's our policy, but come on back and I'll give you you're 30 bucks back this one time. And I happily accept and edit my review to 5 stars, rave about the great customer service, and then become a customer for life and give word of mouth advertisement for the store. In a perfect world I guess. Alas it's not to be. Instead the owner takes the time to be snarky and chastise me. Hey here's a tip, you can't see the sign cause you have shit everywhere. As a small business owner myself, thanks for telling me how it is. read more

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful crew! My first time in an air soft gun store to buy my son first gear and The guys were so helpful and kind and informative and funny and did I say kind? They were patient and helpful with all my questions because I don't know anything about this stuff and I want to make sure I'm getting good gear for my son and that he'll be protected and safe. So happy that Amazon doesn't ship airsoft guns to California because otherwise we would've just bought from Amazon. The service is so great it's worth any additional cost if there is any. We will be going back as long as my son wants to play the sport game or whatever it is. Can't wait to go to Playland next!! Thanks guys!!! read more

Love the place! Walk through the door and it's paintball galore! Gabe at the counter introduced me to the world of paintball and I just came back to buy more! Amazing place, friendly staff :) read more

the staff make you feel stupid and everything is 50-75 overpriced always just trying to make a sale

The only reason I'm leaving three stars (which I think is more than generous) is because of the great selection they have. If I could split it up, I'd give 5 stars for selection and 1 star for service. I hadn't played paintball for about 7 years and wanted to come in to update my gear. I'd also brought my marker in to get a check up to make sure everything was working properly. Gabe, the one working that day, seemed like he couldn't care less if I bought anything and had a completely uninterested attitude towards me during my entire visit. I asked how long it would be before my marker was ready to be picked up and he said about a week. I called a week later and NOPE....not ready. Strange considering he'd said it would probably just need some lube and new O-rings. I went and picked it up, as I needed it to play that weekend, and it was obvious it hadn't even been looked at that whole time. I still ended up buying new goggles as I'm a small business owner myself and want to support local businesses. Went home and ordered the rest of the gear I needed online. Because of Gabe's attitude I have no intention of coming back here....even for paintballs, I'd rather pay an extra few bucks at the field. read more

I'm a big airsoft fan and I can find this store a little lacking in airsoft products. I really want to like this store but it seems they rarely get new shipments in. It's a bummer because this is the only airsoft shop in the area and I get tired of ordering my stuff online. But besides airsoft, they have a big selection of paintball stuff and the staff is very friendly. If they could get some more airsoft products in I would buy all my stuff through them read more

My 11 year old and I just found out about this place through Playland Paintball in Petaluma. The guy working was really nice, answered my son's 1000 questions, and we bought a case of paint. We'll definitely be back. read more

The only Airsoft store for miles, drove 45 minutes to visit this store. The employe working that day had No interest in talking to me. I was there to buy some stuff. When asking questions about the different products I was met with little or no info. So had to buy it online. Sorry! We need to support local businesses. read more

I've been to this place a few times, and man is it cool. I've never played paintball before, nor owned a paintball gun, but i'm an avid airsoft guy. Before going online and giving my money to those big guys in SoCal, I'll hit up 31st for BB's, gas, magazines, upgrades, and any other thing I'd need! They even do special orders if you need any specific items and they price match the bigger airsoft retailers in the US. I've done price comparisons, and 31st's prices are as fair as they can get! So the next time that you're out looking for some airsoft or paintball gear, hit up 31st Outfitters! read more

Stopped in at Thirty First Outfitters for the first time yesterday and I'm really glad I did. My experience with any type of hobby/sport specialty retail store is they are almost always have employees who have interest and varying levels of knowledge in what that shop is about from pets to model trains to cycling and so on. These shops can be categorized as one of two types. Knowledgeable but wont give you the time of day because you aren't in the know... elitist. The other is knowledgeable and so eager to move the hobby forward that they will stop what they are doing to talk to you and engage you, no matter how much more they know about than you. Thirty First is the latter. When I walked in with my wife and 5 year old son the employees had no way of knowing my knowledge level or my almost 20 years experience playing paintball but the treated me like my needs were the most important and not just to squeeze what money they could from me. They were friendly and eager to show me what they could off the wall and to offer services and even invites to games in the future. I wasn't planning on making any purchases that day but they still were engaging, my son even got some free schwag (stickers). I plan on doing a lot of Airsoft business in the near and distant future and this will be my go to. The owner has clearly created a good environment for customers as well as employees. Keep up the good work. read more

I went there twice to get CO2, and each time they didn't have it. A paintball store that runs out of CO2. I will never go there again.
