Hands down the best shop. Nicest guy out there. Also a wealth of knowledge. If you go to him you won't regret it.

I left feeling a bit beat up by the deep tissue manipulation, but a day later my condition was substantially improved. I immediately booked another session, and I intend to continue with ROM for the foreseeable future. Recommended.

Got a pain, ache, old injury, or some other muscle injury?! Go see Chris; you won't be…read moredisappointed. Since I initially saw him for work on an injured forearm, I've ben back numerous times to help with injuries or general soreness before it becomes a problem. Chris helps me recover much more quickly from sports and work related soreness than I could ever expect on my own. His deep knowledge of the human body and structure leads him to work on all related muscle groups, rather than just targeting the sore areas. He also can explain why your body is feeling the way it is, and can help you with ways to not feel that way anymore. And, on a side note, if you're a 6'1" 240lb guy like me, don't expect a light touch. Chris is able to get down to those knots and twists deep in the muscle tissue, which in my experience many therapists are unable to do. Aside from that, Chris is a very friendly, approachable, and like-able human being. I always enjoy my time there, often discussing the latest in movies or whats happening in modern spaceflight. Great conversationalist! I can't recommend Chris' services enough. Go on, make that appointment!

Overall the food tasted great but value varied by dish... pad Thai was great value, but ravioli was poor value with only 6 pieces. The desserts were excellent too. We had the chocolate cake and the Meyer lemon panna cotta. Both yummy. Service was good. They were checking on us every few minutes to make sure we had everything. Food came out in a decent time. The noise level was LOUD inside so be prepared. If it's nice out, you can opt in for the outdoor patio area, which might be a bit quieter. Overall, I recommend it for all in the area.

Worth noting though: it gets very noisy. The menu offers an interesting mix of Thai and French cuisine - not quite fusion, but rather two distinct menus side by side. Think of it as a safe bet for groups with different cravings. The portions are decent and the prices are in line with typical Bay Area standards - not a bargain, but not outrageous either. Unfortunately, what brought my rating down to three stars was the service. For a relatively simple meal - oysters to start and one entrée each - the pacing was surprisingly slow. We waited nearly 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared, another 10 for the dessert menu, and after an additional 15-minute wait we ended up canceling dessert altogether, as the evening had stretched to two hours and we had a long drive ahead. To be fair, the tables around us seemed to have a smoother experience, so perhaps we caught them on an off night. I'd like to give them another shot, but I'm leaving with mixed feelings that honestly reflect a three-star experience - great bones, but the service needs work.
