Smash burger original cheeseburger (comes with two patties)

YOMMM. My mouth is watering just thinking about the smash burger I had. Wonderful customer service and incredible food at a decent price. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the ambiance is very welcoming and airy. Highly recommend! P.S. This location does not have the peanut butter and jelly smash burger.

Third Window is my favorite place when it comes to a legit smash burger. I usually go to the one in Santa Barbara, but this location didn't do it justice. My burger was cold and didn't taste as fresh and melt in your mouth delicious like I'm used to. It looked overcooked. The pickles seemed stale too. The fries were semi-cold , but at least my friend enjoyed them. They were ok, just not as fresh and hot. It's almost as if they had just been sitting around for awhile. My cider was good though! Cold, crisp and dry. Customer service here seems fast and friendly. I love the open airy atmosphere here and there's plenty of communal tables and single tables to sit at inside and out. Despite the underwhelming burger and fries; I would still give it another go at this location. I recommend asking for sauce on the side for the burger. This allows you to taste the meat better and a soggy burger.

It was extremely crowded with long times and packed tables but that is to be expected from the avocado festival. Everyone was so nice though, a family let us sit by them. The smash burger was perfect. The crispy bits at the edges from being smashed. Wished there was a little bit more caramelized onions. The fries were chunky and crispy. I love the chocolate milkshake. Just so perfectly thick and creamy. I do question the root beer on tap. It taste heavy with cloves. Almost like hard apple cider. I regret ordering this.

Love the whole Linden Square and all the spots within it are such an awesome additions to Carp! I kept hearing about Third Window Brewing from my good friend. She would travel often from Oxnard to their location in SB. I ordered their hazy and fries. Good ! Their service is great! We went on a busy Sunday and service was quick. Such friendly staff . Seating can be rough on a busy day as there are soooo many cool spots concentrated in one area but you'll find a place to sit eventually. I've been a total of three times since it opened and I always find a place to plot down. I'll be back !

I was told by a friend that Third Window Brewing has one of the best smash burgers so I had to check out this new location on Linden. The newly renovated Linden Square is very modern and a cool spot. There are multiple food places to order from and open seating. There's indoor and outdoor seating with tables or couches. There are a lot of shaded options. At Third Window, you order at the counter then wait for your buzzer to buzz and grab the food from their food window. We were there in a very busy Saturday afternoon at lunch time. The line moved fast for ordering food. We were able to grab some chairs in the shade outside while we waited for our food to be ready. We tried the original smash burger, fries, the kid's grilled cheese, and a chocolate milkshake. The smash burger was as great as I expected. The meat was juicy and the bun was soft. The overall flavor was 10/10. The fries were also excellent. They are crispy without being overcooked. The kid's grilled cheese came on a hamburger bun with melted cheese. It was $3.95 which I appreciate because it was the perfect price and size for a kid's meal. The chocolate shake is made with one of our local favorite ice cream places, McConnell's. It was chocolately, thick, and creamy topped with whipped cream. Third Window knocked it out of the park for me. The prices of their food are very reasonable considering how amazing it is. The food was incredible. The location is someone that you can stay and hang out at. I will definitely be back for another smash burger, fries, and milkshake!

I fully understand the hype for the smash burger! Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. It's simple, juicy and delicious. I've had it twice in the last week; that's how good it is! The tallow fries are so good that I was happy to have my son have them as his first French fry ever. Saying he loved them is an understatement! Great beer selections. My husband had the FE and paired really well with his smash & fries. Do me a favor and grab a Rice Krispie treat. My all time favorite! The specs of vanilla bean just scream a great homemade flavor and it not being overly sweet is something you don't find. It's a big serving size too so you're getting bang for your buck. Great addition to the heavy hitting options at Linden Square.

Smash burgers with cheese, fries, Alabama white sauce

My brother told me I had to try their smash burgers and he was absolutely right. They have some of the best smash burgers I've ever had in my life, and I can't wait to go back! I love how juicy and flavorful the burger is, with the crisp, salty edges. The potato bun is so soft and has a slight sweetness to perfectly complement the savory burger. I also ordered the fries, and they were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They paired perfectly with their Alabama white sauce and ketchup. I also love all the ample seating areas here; it's a fun, aesthetically pleasing space where you can enjoy burgers, grab a drink, or simply just enjoy the outdoors.

Really fun brewery at linden square in carpinteria. We ordered at the counter and staff was friendly. They are European style so their beers are heavier but we got the blond and it was a perfect light beach beer (only light beer I saw on the menu) and the hazy ipa. we enjoyed the atmosphere at the square and sat outside on some lounge chairs. Nice relaxing date night

I like this location even better than the original! Awesome venue with indoor, outdoor, plenty of shade and tables. Same food on tap and beers. Shared space with other locations like wine shop and pizzeria. Beers were great, and fries, and chocolate shake. TVs for sports viewing. Easy ordering, credit cards accepted, fast casual (get a buzzer for food). Overall if you want great beer, food and ambiance, this is your place! Street parking only I believe. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, I will be back!

We'd heard about this restaurant in SB for awhile now, so we decided to finally go to try the burgers! When I put it in the GPS, to our pleasant surprise there was an even closer location, so we went to the Carpenteria location. We were fortunate and found street parking right when we pulled up. The place looked really busy from afar. I don't honestly know how long it's been open, but looked like the place to be. Finding the entrance was a little confusing and then when we entered it seemed like it was to the Mexican restaurant next door, but then I realized all the seating is together. There's also a pizza place inside. Having all the different food options in one location was nice if you take a family or larger group and everyone can get what they like. We stuck with the burgers. It wasn't clear at first that seating is just first come first serve. There wasn't a hostess and it was also a little confusing as to where to order food. There wasn't a line at the bar and I had to ask if it was for food or just the drinks. It was indeed for everything, but again it was confusing for someone who had never been there before. Upon ordering the gal said the food wait time would be about 30min. Unfortunately the wait was closer to 45 min and by that time my husband and I were starving. When we got our food, at least the order was correct, no issues there. We felt the burgers were on the smaller side. The fries were good and I really enjoyed the Alabama White Sauce as a dip for my fries and burger. The pickles were homemade, but seemed a little vinegary, not the best flavor. Overall we're glad we made the trek to try it. If we're in the area we would probably go back, but there are other spots close by with great smash burgers. We're not beer drinkers, so that was not a factor for us. It was a very family friendly place.

Excellent brewery spot with great beer & relaxed service!…read more Located against the railroad track on the back side of the building, it's a bit difficult to find, but just drive all the way in to the large alley, I guess Maple Ave. Nice wide open set up, perfect for a cold beer on a warm day. Wife went for the Crimson Horizon, and she enjoued it. I got a sip and it was smoother butterier than the Firestone cali squeeze? I tried the Avocado Honey Ale since can't go wrong with description of amber honey ale! Was told it was a version of their kolsch with local honey. Wow, it was smooth with a bit of sweet finish, so addictive!!! Still had hours to drive so couldn't just have as many as I wanted, but I checked online and seemed Albertsons sold it so figured I can just pick them up back at home. But the gentleman resting at the bar told me he delivers their beer but only up to the hills. I guess maybe available in stores up to Camarillo, but not over that hill/mountain. I had to have more of it, and they had 6 packs in the cooler for purchase so went for a pack. The green cans are such delightful vessels to hold the even more delightful liquid inside. Wife even cut out the top and using the cute cans as planters, lol! The cans poured out at home was excellent as well, very fresh and refreshing and could get tiny hints of avocado on sips. Just a great beer! After browsing the brewery, it seems avocado honey ale is their signature beer, so I got lucky to choose that from the menu, lol. While enjoying the beer, the amtrak train blew it's horn to leave from the Carpinteria station, so we rushed out to wave and enjoy seeing that go by right in front as well. I am sure the locals were shaking their heads at our excitement of seeing the train go by, one gentleman when leaving even complimented my kid's dance moves from when we were out there to greet and send off the train, lol! Awesome local spot and great folks, just a very relaxing spot to enjoy the delicious avo honey ale! Just hidden so maybe not many visitors to Carpinteria find it, but I picked it out from search for brewery and chose this over the other one on the main streets. What a find for an out of towner! Hope they can expand out or grow their delivery area, maybe get it sent to total wine which must have a distribution center. Otherwise, this is a must stop for any SB trips for sure!

This is a family owned/operated wine and beer tasting room located in Carpinteria, with their vineyards located on nearby Rincon Mountain and in Paso Robles. Cool vibe entry area, with a large, garage-like back room and outdoor tasting areas. Parking available both on street and in a private lot in back. WINES: We were fortunate to have Jill, co-owner with her husband Edward, pour for us and the service was excellent. We tried 5 wines from the tasting menu, a '22 Storytime Rosè, '22 Susie Q (white Rhone blend), 2020 Dusty Vinyl (Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre red blend), '19 Tempranillo, and a '19 Monk (Bordeaux red blend). In addition, Jill also poured us a '22 Syrah. Again, all the wines were well-made and flavorful. We took advantage of the waived tasting fee and took several bottles home with us. You can also purchase wines by the glass or enjoy a bottle onsite. BEER: New since our last visit, Jill and Edward decided to brew beer, so we also decided to share a tasting. All ingredients are grown on their property and they're currently pouring a Lu Lu Lager, a Monk's Ration (Belgian Ale), and a Sal's Stout. The pours are generous and easily enough for two people to share a tasting. We're not huge beer fans, but these, especially the lager and the ale, were so refreshing and full of flavor. They're sold in 750ml bottles, and we took a couple of these home as well. I highly recommend a visit to Rincon Mountain Winery's tasting room. You won't be disappointed!
