Happened to be downtown and stumbled across this cafe. And ifyky, the parking downtown is half the fun says no one ever. But good old street parking, mostly parallel parking or there may be a garage/lot near you, but usually have to pay $ for that. But anyways, back to the cafe. From what I gather, the cafe has/had a staff drink special menu that gets switched out ever so often. They do have the classic coffe drinks too oh, and if you're into matcha, that have that too. And if you want some baked goods or food, they have some option I can't remember what drinks I ordered though. Oops. But for the food, I got the pastrami and swiss and a pastry. The breakfast sandwich was okay. The pastry was good, but I can't recall what this is either. Goodness. But the staff was chill and welcoming. Its a cozy cafe. I was visiting Tacoma and I came across this coffee shop. I will say that the inside was very and clean. A great place to study or work from remotely. It also has outside seating if you prefer to be outside. The pastries I tried the churro croissant and wow! It was amazing. The coffee I had a banana latte iced and it was ok, to me I felt like that coffee needs to be a little bit stronger but overall good. Stopped by Third Space on a day trip to Tacoma and it was a nice, peaceful respite to our day. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the space is a comfortable, well-lit place. We especially liked sitting in the little couch by the front window. My hubs had a Cortado that came with the traditional side of sparkling water and I had the strawberry agua fresca. Everything was delicious and refreshing. Last but not least, they have a clean, all-gender bathroom in the back hallway. Next time we're in Tacoma, we will visit again! read more

Such a gem in the Tacoma area for a breakfast and cafe spot. The navy blue urban and minimalist ambiance is a perfect environment to study or catch up with friends in. I enjoyed grabbing a bite of their BEC sandwiches and Kimchi Cheesesteaks. Their cardamom chai is also DEFINITELY a must-try as an avid chai latte addict. Their series on TikTok and Instagram on opening up their business is also really inspiring and heartwarming to watch, so I would also recommend checking those out. :) read more

Love this new cafe in Tacoma! After trying it out for the first time about a month ago, I've been back 2 more times. While it's paid street parking only, finding parking hasn't been an issue and it's relatively inexpensive compared to Seattle. The space is modern and well decorated, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. As a non-coffee drinker, I've tried the blueberry milk, mango-yuzu, and strawberry agua fresa and they were all delicious. My boyfriend loves their creative coffees. We've also gotten the BEC on multiple occasions because it's delicious. Super crispy bacon in between a buttery flaky biscuit. I generally don't like biscuits because I find them dry, but Third Space changed my mind. We ordered the kimchi cheesesteak last time and it was equally delicious in a different way. I also tried the raspberry cruffin which was nice and crisp on the outside but soft and flaky on the inside. Of note, the pastries are from Lobo Bakery. Overall, 5 stars for everything done so well. This is a cozy little spot with free WiFi and comfy chairs. It's very clean and tidy and the decoration is clean and minimal. The service is good and so is the food. Stop in for coffee and breakfast Sammy or grab a sando and soda after lunch. Either way, this is a perfect multipurpose spot. Parking isn't bad, but it's a paid lot. Like $3.50 an hour which isn't bad at all. Long story long, I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and to get some homework done. I needed the free WiFi and I was not disappointed. The breakfast sandwiches are so good! Fresh cooked eggs and biscuits. The biscuits are so flaky and light and good!! The bottom is soft, but the tops have a crisp to them. I got the sausage egg and cheese. The egg was cooked perfectly, biscuit was superior to a lot of biscuits I've had in restaurants and the gochujang aioli on top was the perfect compliment!! It wasn't spicy, but still added so much flavor. I had a special soda made by Marisa with lime, mint, lychee and soda water. Very simple, but very satisfying and not overly sweet. The chairs are comfortable and there's ample seating. The booths have outlets at each table area which makes it super convenient for laptops and chargers. The crowd is mixed. Young and older people mill about. People were having meetings, chatting with friends and working just like me. It's not sketchy and felt totally safe. 10/10 recommend. read more

LOVED this place. Coffee was solid and strong - but the highlight is definitely the food. I got the "hot mama" breakfast sandwich and coming from someone who has eaten probably at least 100 different breakfast sandwiches from cafes and restaurants all over the world - I think I found my favorite. The homemade biscuit that this sandwich is on already sets it apart - but then the insides?!? Oh my gosh. I know for a fact that so many places undercook their bacon and it's soggy and limp, which is why I hesitate to spend much over $5 on a breakfast sandwich. I had to try it though and thank goodness I did. The bacon was perfect and crispy, just the right amount of spice - don't let the name scare you! Downtown Tacoma really needed a place like this. Especially for the lunch crowd. I was at the end of my rope with trying to treat myself during the work week to eat out during my lunch break. I used to go to other restaurants that worked with the lunch crowd and after getting poor food quality (as in mold in my food) and online orders that seemed to always be inaccurate there seemed few options and diversity left for lunch. I have a pretty heavy tolerance for mistakes involving orders and customer service so it has to be pretty bad in order for me to walk away. So this is definitely a breathe of fresh air. I knew Third Space was doing a soft opening which often means it isn't quite fully operational yet so I waited a few weeks until they were. I got a wonderful Caprese type sandwich (sorry, the exact name of the sandwich I can't recall but it also had meat in it) with some pesto sauce that was absolutely wonderful. I also got a pastry which was Raspberry and Hibiscus flavored that was wonderful! To drink I saw that they had Horchata which I love getting and it didn't disappoint in the slightest. Great addition to Downtown Tacoma right next to Jin Jin Matcha. I came during the soft opening right at 8am on the dot and as soon as I walked in the customers started piling in. I'm glad I was the first one there. I got the orange spice latte, which was my very first time trying orange coffee. It really works! The citrus heightened the coffee flavor and for a latte the coffee has a good strong taste. I also ordered the cheddar chive biscuit and it was so good. Will get this over and over again. I love going to this cafe during my breaks at work. The employees have always greeted me with smiles and are great to chat with. The inside of the cafe has relatively dim lighting and music plays in the background. This is a great place to chat with friends or do studying. They recently added new summer drinks to the menu and the Thai tea with coconut cream caught my eye. The Thai tea has a sweet and slightly spicy kick to it. When paired with the coconut cream, the spice is slightly mellowed out but not overly sweet. I will continue to come by whenever I can! read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in Tacoma! I love how they make their syrups in house-you can tell it's made with love and the flavor combinations they have are always on point. My go to coffee order is their iced blueberry basil latte due to the unique but amazing flavor profile. Their kimchi cheesesteak is perfectly cooked and has great flavor from the kimchi and ribeye. I also really enjoy their house made biscuits(I suggest asking about their seasonal rotating flavor) the biscuits have the perfect flakiness and flavor. I love how they have a wide selection of hot sauces to choose from (from locally owned businesses). They have wifi so I've really enjoyed studying while I'm at Third Space. This would also be a great place to hang out with friends and coworkers. First of all, I've been so excited to try this place out. Second it was well worth the wait. I had the Bacon Egg Biscuit and it was amazing. Just visited for first time today during my lunch break. The place had the perfect vibe. Nice hustle and bustle without being too loud. Excellent for a quick meet with friends or to work quietly.
