Wayne made it! I'm not sure what it is, but it was good.

Third came across my Instagram feed so I decided to check it out! The vibes were amazing as soon as I walked in! The owner Chris, the customers, and bartenders Wayne & Bartholomew were such a vibe. I ordered the Matcha Martini before requesting my go to drink. The Matcha Martini was yummy but not yummy enough for me to order again. Without asking I was handed a Dolce Almeda shot/mini cocktail - it's Third's version of the Mexican candy shot. I'm a rum girly BUT that shot was full of flavor & yummy! I would recommend it. I plan to return soon! I love that the bar is away from the hype (e.g., Bar 5015, Faces) it has its own identity and location. Again, highly recommend.

Okay local bar! This is a new spot located on the corner of almeda and OST. It's specifically located between the Subway and Les Donut. The lot is small with relatively limited parking so get there early or use ride share. The bar it's self is pretty small with limited seating and no doubt if it's packed it will be quite warm in there This place is a vibe though. Now the music too loud. Good music you just have to yell to hear yourself. Turn it down. We met the co-owner he's cool and makes an excellent beverage! I live around the corner and can actually walk there so to say the least I'll be backà

Houston! We have a new craft cocktail bar on the South side! Third is a cocktail lounge located in a nondescript shopping strip. Parking wasn't an issue, but I could see it becoming a challenge once more people discover Third. The bar isn't very large but it is nice. They had a DJ spinning tunes at the corner of the bar. I also noticed that the bartenders were sporting leather aprons (which I equate to elevated drinks lol). It was definitely a vibe. Our server was Denise and she was really nice. She brought over kettle chips and dill flavored ruffle chips. The ruffle chips had too much dill for my preference, but if you like pickles, you'll enjoy them. I started with the Midnight in Amalfi Coast. I was intrigued because of the ingredients, but I have to admit that I didn't care for this drink. It sort of had a licorice taste to it that I wasn't feeling. On the other hand, I absolutely LOVED the Time After Time. I've had drinks with egg white, and whipped cream, but I have never had foam (think bubbles) on top of a cocktail. In the menu, it's described as "Strawberry Lemon Air" and that's exactly what it is! You can taste the flavor, but it dissolves in your mouth as you're sipping the cocktail. It's a really interesting texture contrast that I thoroughly enjoyed. My friend ordered a Lemon Drop Martini. Denise noticed that she wasn't drinking it so she told her that she would be back with her drink. A moment later, Denise walked back with her Lemon Drop topped with the Strawberry Lemon Air and my friend drank it so fast lol. I bet the foam tastes good on everything lol. I met one of the owners, Christopher and he was incredibly nice! I told him how much I enjoyed the Time After Time and he had one of the bartenders, William tell me about the cocktail and how they make the foam. William is very passionate about his craft and it shows. Sophisticated cocktails with a side of culture! Third is going into my craft cocktail bar rotation.

    * It's a smaller venue, so it fills up quickly on Friday and Saturday nights. * Parking can get tight during peak hours. * If you're looking for a huge dance floor or bottle-service nightclub experience, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for a chic place to grab drinks, catch a vibe, and have conversations with good music in the background, it's a strong choice!

Legit happy hour and grown, sexy vibe! Stopped in for a pregame and ended up staying longer than expected. The drinks were unique and all were delicious. We tried several from their list of cocktails. The service was also great. Will definitely return! Great place to chill and watch the games with an 80s & 90s classic R&B vibe!

Wow! So, this place was under development for a long time and the only reason I knew was because it's located next to my favorite donut shop. My friend suggested it over Memorial Day weekend for HH (daily HH from 4-7, I believe) and I was impressed! The interior was modern with some touches of glam, plenty of seating when I arrived. The drinks? Well made, potent, interesting, and pretty. I'm slowly turning into a martini girl and this was probably my second fave. Drinks came out quickly but it did take some time for us to close our tab. You can order food via DD, etc and they work with a BBQ place near by. I also loved the music selection. Hopefully they can go the distance and become a Houston staple!

My girls and I had a time. I was pleasantly surprised by the elevated decor despite its location. It's what you would call a hidden gem. It's housed in a small shopping center near OST. To my surprise they had a reverse happy hour!!! Yass and thank you!! The bartenders were bartending! All the drinks were delicious and specially crafted. It reminds me of a mixology bar I frequented back in the day. The vibe was definitely house party thanks to the DJ. I went on a Saturday night

Hands down one of the best craft cocktail bars in Houston! I was sold on my first visit and am now a regular, visiting a couple times a week. The bartenders are true mixologist who are creative and super hospitable! The reverse weekend happy hours are such a vibe with great DJs. The price point is fair for a craft cocktail and the artistry. And there's happy hour every day! I truly can't say enough how much I love this place!!

I mean.. for a Friday night, you need to severely work on your service. Total of 12 people in the entire establishment with 3 bartenders literally standing around, and they don't even acknowledge you for 7 minutes. We counted. The barbacks were quicker with our water than the staff behind the bar. Also, don't get me started on this "dirty Diana" "experience" for the love of god don't waste your money on the bullshit that is that. Along with the solid 2 ounces of liquor TOTAL in the glass. Sigh.

What a quaint lounge! Good vibes, great cocktails (delicious)!!! and great service. Not especially large, but a really nice space to relax. Seating includes pub tables and a few lower height booth tables. This is helpful for those with a mobility concern. There is a step to access the lower level seating. The music was great! I totally enjoyed being in the space. Definitely will stop in again when in the area.

Complimentary water and chips. Such a cute touch.

Cute bar with great drinks. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks. The Old Fashioned was flavorful and perfectly made. They also gave complimentary chips as a snack. That was such a cute touch. The ambiance is great for date night or girls night. The patrons were dressed nicely as well. Perfect place to get cute and enjoy a nice evening. The Dj kept the vibe up all night. Parking was free and I loved that security would make sure everyone made it to their cars safely as they walked out. I will definitely be back.

The Lychee Rye Thai is soooo good

Third is such a good vibe? Tasty, craft cocktails and excellent customer service. I just came here on a random Tuesday and it was a vibe! I'll definitely be back

One was the periscope which was a refreshing and summery gin drink... And I think I tried the naked and famous too because I like mezcal. I had already eaten so I skipped the restaurant the speakeasy's connected to, but I cannot wait to return to Houston outside of a Con so I can really go all out on exploring. I rode with a friend to celebrate an Htown Legend in Live Music, Marium Echo. If you have never heard of her, shame on YOU! and if you have, then you know it was already a good time to just hear her sing. Her and her band were phenomenal! Two sets from 830 to 11. I did not drink so I cannot tell you about that but I saw plenty people at the bar consistently throughout the night, so I imagine its decent. As far as space is concerned- we'll its called the Liv'n Room. It's about the size of it, Stage is is front of the bar. Two people deep could actually stand and listen to the music but thats it. Otherwise, people stand or sit on left and right of stage, but it doesn't matter when you have a great sound system and someone that can blow. Top it off, Marium and her band know how to engage the crowd with one of the guitarist playing a mean solo into the crowd. This people is live music at it finest in Houston and don't let nobody tell you different. I plan to come back VERY soon cause this was a great time- and I was home by midnight without any drama. I stopped by on a Sunday around 6 p.m. While I Uber'd, I know that you can find free street parking in the area despite it often being busy. Ambiance (3.5/5): The Davenport was packed even on a Sunday evening. To the point where no seats were available. Luckily for me, about 10 minutes in, the lady next to me left so I was able to snag a seat at the bar. There are also high tops and a small patio out front. The Davenport is a pretty chill establishment, but one with a loyal following. Service (4/5): A full bar usually means service issues. There was a component of that here. It took a little while to order my drink and later to get the bartender's attention to close my tab. Given how popular The Davenport is, your experience will likely be the same. Luckily, they make up for it by going above and beyond with their cocktails. I'll get to that in a second. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet, and to be honest, while I'm not 100%, I don't think they have food. There was a guy walking around selling boudin though right when I was about to leave. Drinks (4.5/5): The Davenport is known for their martinis so that's what I recommend going with. It's a The Cheesecake Factory-type menu with 40 or so martinis to choose from. Paradox of choice situation. I ended up going with the gummy bear which was a solid cocktail, although a bit too sweet for my taste. Here's what makes Davenport next level... their martinis pack a punch. I always appreciate a stiff drink. And on top of that, they often give you more than your cocktail in a martini glass. There's usually quite a bit leftover so they'll pour that in another glass for you. Basically a drink and a half for the price of one! Given the strength of the cocktails and the quantity, it's definitely a good deal. The Davenport has been around for a while and has become a well-known spot. I'm glad I finally got to cross it off the list. After you down a martini or two, there's an Irish pub right next door and Trill Burger right across the street.

Vibe was a good entire time as they started playing some R&B/hiphop... the crowd slowly trickled in. By the time we left it was almost packed! We had a really nice little table near the front so got to see alot of regulars come in. The bartender even gave us a round of shots on the house for being our first time.
