Even more odd, is the fact that this is the first time that I have been here. I have been taking the boyfriend to try new places, since he moved to the area. The inside of the restaurant probably needs some updating. So, if you are the prissy type you will have to get past the aged building. The building has been there longer than I have been alive. we will be back, considering that we live around the corner.

The veggies still had a little crunch to them which is great. I asked for level 4 spice and boy ol' boy, my sinuses are now clear! I ordered chicken and added shrimp. I feel like I received a good amount of meat. My only complaint is my rice was very mushy and I'm sure it's because of the plastic container and drive time. I will stir fry the leftovers. Nice quantity of food for the price.

The spice level is not always consistent, so just keep that in mind if you like your food less spicy. Maybe consider going down a spice level. I like a little kick so I usually do a two. The only down is the amount of shrimp you get with an entree. We ordered a shrimp plate and only got five shrimp in the whole family dish, the rest was veggies.

We ordered the chicken khao soi (the photo here looked too good to pass up) and a curry dish, and both were excellent. I especially loved the khao soi--it was my first time trying it, and I really enjoyed the contrast of crispy and soft noodles soaked in a rich, flavorful curry. Everything we had was delicious, and we truly enjoyed both our food and our time here. The restaurant itself is very large, with lots of tables and seating, yet there were only a few diners during regular dinner hours. I even mentioned this amazing place to a local, and he hadn't heard of it either, which was surprising! I would definitely come back to try more dishes. If O'Fallon ends up being the city I move to, I'd be happy having this Thai restaurant nearby without needing to travel all the way to St. Louis.

I misunderstood that for $9 you get two of everything listed! I thought you only get to pick two items so I chose wings and crab ragoon. The wings were good. I deducted one star because the rice had a small number of shrimp. I was also expecting more egg. They provided plenty of sauces which is great!

The food is always fantastic. The lunch specials bring you a lot of food for a low price. Depending on the size of your order, crab Rangoon or egg rolls are tossed in for free (only for sizable orders, don't expect it at the $10 level). The crispy chicken is my favorite, and I will always order it. My families favorite way to eat crispy chicken is straight from the fridge, so we always make that an additional order. In reference to other reviewers, I have never had an issue with delivery. It's always prompt, if it's running late it's within the 10-15 minute range. The owners and staff are some of the nicest people in the world, although the language barrier can be difficult with a few of the servers. All in all, I have eaten their food hundreds of times over the years. My order has been wrong a handful of times, but they've always made it right. Honestly, with the amount of times I have eaten from there, a handful of times is extremely low. Everyone makes the occasional mistake.

Their dishes tend to have good amounts of meat and veggies too. You can get a whole order of rice or lo mein, 2 eggrolls and crab rangoon for around $11. What sells this place is it's consistency, nice simple decor and it's always very clean. One of the few lil whole in the walls that is not overly decorated. Colors are just right. Remember they do not have fountain sodas, just canned so if you're thirsty get some water too.
