We love this place! First time actually sitting in restaurant to eat, we usually order to go. The portions are huge! And the flavors are amazing. The spice level is not always consistent, so just keep that in mind if you like your food less spicy. Maybe consider going down a spice level. I like a little kick so I usually do a two. The only down is the amount of shrimp you get with an entree. We ordered a shrimp plate and only got five shrimp in the whole family dish, the rest was veggies. read more

Fantastic Thai food. Best in the St. Claire Area. Serving sizes always feed me two meals. Wait time is always quicker than they say. Waitresses are always very nice. And if you like super spicy, they have a secret spicy level called "Thai Spicy" (eat at your own risk). The place is always great location for dates and great food! I was craving some green curry since I haven't had it from my favorite place in years, so I stopped by Arroy Thai. The inside is very nicely decorated and cute! I ordered the Tom Kha soup and the green curry. The Tom Kha was pretty good and served piping hot. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the green curry. It was very runny and I was really expecting a rich and hearty coconut curry. The flavor wasn't bad, but I took quite a bit home and it unfortunately did not satisfy my green curry craving. There were quite a few other people eating and their dishes all looked good and there is a lot to try on the menu. I'd give it a chance, but maybe stay clear of the curry if you are looking for something thick and hearty. read more

The food is good most of the time. The only time I have problems is when I order for pickup. They seem to give smaller portions and the food is sometimes either way too spicy or completely bland. I would think it would be the same as the stuff served in the restaurant but it is always good when I eat there. The waitstaff is sometimes lacking in nice attitude, seem quite rushed and not listening when taking an order, and don't always bring the things I need like silverware or refill the waters so we have been left waiting. There can also be a lot of yelling from the waitstaff which also check people out to the cooks which is not great. read more

Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had the Kang Karee and Pad Prig Sod and both were good.

The food is WAY overpriced for the quality. It was $12.99 for one order of orange chicken and $12.99 for one order of lomein noodles. I ordered two orders of the orange chicken, it came with white rice, then order an order of lomein noodles which came out to be $42 after tax. It wouldn't have been awful in price if the food was actually good. The chicken was dry, hard to eat, and over cooked. The noodles smelled awful and tasted just as bad as the smell. The rice was dry as well! Overall, I won't be coming back here. Maybe if the food was better I would, but I'm not wasting my money to find out. read more

We loved this place. I wasn't feeling well and was looking for some chicken soup. I was told they have the best wonton soup so I tried it. It wasn't a chicken based broth, it was pork I assume. What ever it was, it was so good! The broth was savory but still delicate. There were plenty of wontons and veggies. I was surprised to see lettuce in my wonton soup, but it and the cilantro were a great addition. The wonton soup comes wit 2 crab Rangoon that were good too. They sweet and crispy and I really like the dipping sauce that came with them. I can't wait to try some of their curry on my next trip. read more

Definitely mine and my family's favourite Thai restaurant compared to others around! Wide variety of food selection. I've tried so many of their dishes on the menu and so far, none of them have disappointed me. My favourite dishes would be their Drunken Noodle and Pinaepple Fried Rice. My favourite appetizer would be their chicken satay with peanut sauce. In my opinion, the spicier you ask for your food to be (no matter the dish), the better. But that might just be my preference. Staff are friendly and quick to help. Price is just ok but you do get a lot portion wise and most of the time I'm never able to finish them in one sitting and just take it home for next day's lunch. read more

So really nice looking place but due to covid can't comment on dining in experience. So on to the food. Presentation of the food was neatly and cleanly packed no excessive amounts of sauce or oil. Taste- I ordered the Pad Thai with pork, chicken satay, sweet rice with custard, and Thai ice tea. Pad thai- flavor was okay was missing a lot of key flavors im used to tasting in pad Thai. Would love if it came with a side of pepper flake and fresh lime to brighten up the dish. All in all not something I would order again Chicken Satay- Perfectly seasoned and the addition of a peanut sauce with just the right amount of spicy was wonderful. The pickled cucumbers were a great way to enhance the flavor. Sweet rice with custard- Taste wise this was a great dessert. The custard was not overly sweetened and blended nicely with the sticky rice and coconut milk. However pretty sure this was prepackaged and then heated in a microwave as the container was a tad bit melted on the bottom and the rice had some really crispy edges. Thai ice tea- really hard to mess this one up. It was perfect and not overly filled with ice. Perfect drink to wrap up the meal. Minus the pad Thai missing some flavor and the sweet rice being crispy this experience overall was great. Food is good and packaged very well. read more

Delicious little thai restaurant off in a random strip mall. This is the best Thai place I found so far in the more rural areas of Southern Illinois/Missouri. The restaurant is clean and quaint. The service was awesome. Very nice and eager to help. Each dish was authentic and wonderful. The tom yum had a great balance of sweet to sour. There was depth of flavor to it. The pad see ewe was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The curry fried rice was just that. I could taste more curry flavor than other curry fried rices I've tried. My only gripe is that after a while, you get the feeling that there is just too much salt because everything builds up after a while. Prices are good! No complaints in that department read more

I also love that if you order during lunch time, they throw in an order of Crab Rangoon. I have dined in before, but the inside is pretty small and they tables are really close together. I prefer to just eat it at home, especially since they're so fast. By the time I order and drive there, it's always been ready. Tip: They're not available for Uber Eats, but they are available for Door Dash! Unless you really don't want to go pick up the order, I suggest just going and picking it up vs. Door Dash. The added price for Door Dash's services aren't worth it to me. That's because I'm usually just ordering for myself. But if you're ordering for multiple people, then the added price for Door Dash may not be too bad. read more

Even the half order came with 5 huge shrimp. The broth was a good balance of spicy, salty with a dash of tanginess. Although we didn't get the dumpling appetizer this time, they are very good and the dipping sauce that come with it is sweet, spicy and amazing. This was likely the worst Thai food I've eaten. For $60 I wish I could give zero stars. The pad Thai had no color to it, literally had no flavor and the noodles were mush. No peanuts at all. It just had some sugar in it. The drunken noodle was dry and only had the slightest hint of basil flavor but no other flavors. The Panang beef was better, but even that wasn't right. We got it as take out and threw away the pad Thai and drunken noodle dishes. I've eaten at excellent and at average Thai restaurants so I know what it can and should taste like.
