Great food, large portions, quick service. They have a great variety of food items to pick from

The restaurant is just off the main road through town and has a large sign out front. Drive to the building on the left. There is lots of parking adjacent to the building. It is attached to a laundromat but there were plenty of spaces available. There is a handicapped space right by the entrance. There are several tables for dining, but the restaurant is mostly set up for takeout. Several tables were pushed together to make room for storage. We noticed while waiting for our food the air conditioning is set rather warm. It would not be comfortable to eat there. We placed our order at the counter in the rear. A printed menu of the extensive offerings is on the counter as well as a limited picture menu on the wall. They offer a wide variety of dishes and appetizers covering pretty much everything you could ever want. We also noticed a family meal deal posted on the wall to the right of counter. This may be an in store only special as I did not notice it when looking at the menu online. The family meal deal allows selection of four items on the special list for a single price. We ordered the sesame chicken, General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and crab Rangoon. The food took about 15 minutes to be prepared. It was well packaged and nothing spilled on the short ride home. All three entrees were good. Each had the expected flavor, was provided in a good quantity, and would satisfy any reasonable expectation. The General Tso's did not have any discernable spiciness so don't be afraid to order if you want the flavor. The crab Rangoon were quite good. They were much larger than typical and stuffed full of the filling. These are definitely something to order every trip. read more

Food is very good. Lots to offer on menu. Very large servings! Recommend crab rangoon. Can't go wrong!

Sorry to report but every item we ordered was AWFUL! * The hot & sour soup was strange; it had some mystery brown sauce added which created a strange flavor. * Mu shu pork included 4 paper thin square wrappers that couldn't hold the mixed veggies. We ordered crab Rangoon but found a dozen over fried frozen shrimp, hard like a rock - too hard to cut even with a knife! The same brown mystery sauce showed up in the low mein veggies. Again, inedible. A real disaster! read more

Get the order wrong and won't correct it or won't pay money back. Ordered a pint of shrimp fried rice, gave me half pint, charged me for pint. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Wow! Excellent Chinese combo meals for a modest price. We had the Schezhuan chicken, Hunan Chicken and Sesame chicken all with fried rice and egg rolls. Generous portions and presentation and delicious. Great value. Will be back! read more

It's funny to me how widely the quality of China King restaurants vary around here. Fortunately for Millstadt, our China King rocks. The China King that opened here recently is very well run and the folks that run it are great. Just tried it for the first time tonight. Sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and egg rolls were good. I would suggest ordering as take-out though. If you're looking for a no frills local spot for Chinese, this place fits the bill. read more

When I am in Millstadt, this is one of my favorite places to eat. I get the egg drop soup and the special fried rice. It is VERY good, and the prices are very reasonable. I love that it is a family restaurant and I was waited on by the owners children. They are cool kids. It is nice to see kids willing and happy to help their parents. It is right across the street from the school, so it is handy if I am there for a school function. read more

I was very disappointed with with the service I received at this location. I called an order in for pickup and they told me it would be 20 minutes. I arrived within 15 and ended up waiting a total of 45 minutes for my order. They continued to complete everyone else's order before mine. When I arrived they told me it was almost ready. I watched them make my order 40 minutes after I called the order in. I will never patronize this location again. Not only was there no apology, they did not even compensate me for my time or frustration. You lost a customer and I will make sure I tell everyone about my service here. read more

I haven't been a fan since this place opened, but this evening changed my opinion. We had several very mediocre meals in the past, but tonight everything was excellent. Fresh quality ingredients and nicely packaged. Don't know if the chef changed or what, but if they keep this up, we'll become regular customers. Millstadt needs good places to eat - at least we have good carry-out. Definitely worth trying again based on tonight's experience. read more
