Sales rep seemed nice, however, he did not explain all the fine print on the rental agreement. In theory, if one signs a contract, they are responsible for reading this. But usually a professional rep goes through any hidden costs when they are running through the contract with you. You are charged for TWO months rent retainer. They split this over multiple months but a bit hefty for just sitting in a room. Not like an apartment where you could really trash things. I cancelled my rental agreement effective January 2021 and had been charged one month's retainer. AFTER I cancelled they went ahead and sent me another bill for another month's retainer. Billing is a pain and the main reason I wouldn't work with this company. I rented a virtual office space the first month then signed up for an office the next. They continued to bill me for the virtual office even though the sales rep said he would cancel. Then I got a late fee for not paying for the virtual office, that I had to call and correct. Most places give you a monthly statement. Regus sends out an invoice every time a charge or payment occurs with no previous balance. I am very financially saavy and it was a nightmare trying to reconcile each month. I called billing at least 5 times due to incorrect billing. They did correct late fees and incorrect charges most times, however, you had to wait on hold for 30 minutes each time you called customer service. They asked for my feedback after a month. I wrote about the filthy kitchen. No response to this feedback. The kitchen is not kept clean. Paper towels consistently run out, refrigerator clogged with old frozen food from 3 years ago, messy drippy stuff in refrigerator. (2) women at front desk say they are responsible to clean the refrigerator but have not done so in 4 months and spend much time smoking outside. I finally brought my own Clorox cleaner and sponges to clean the kitchen as I got sick of looking at the filthy, unsanitary (especially during COVID) conditions. When I first signed up, a competitor said their extra $100 a month was worth it as they had many renters who were ex-Regus renters. I see now that I should have paid an extra $100 a month to go with a more customer-focused company. The office itself was quiet and nice and not many people here. It is the service, cleanliness and billing that is unacceptable and took up too much of my time to remedy.

Avoid at all costs because of misrepresentations, pushy sales tactics, and billing issues!…read more This company is horrible to work with and I wouldn't recommend that anyone rent from them. To start with, their sales representative was incredibly pushy and quoted me incorrect rental rates for their daily office rentals. The rate he told me for a 2-3 person office was not correct and later after I signed up he told me he never told me that low rate. He didn't do anything to remedy the situation and sent me to their booking service line to try to determine the correct rate. Unfortunately, I had used that rate to calculate whether or not it was worth it to rent from them, and it wasn't with the higher rate. Since it was no longer worth it, I immediately cancelled my account. However, their contract specified that I had to pay for 2 months worth of virtual office space so I had to do that regardless. Then, after my account was closed they continued to auto-charge me for "posting and franking," a service that after multiple lengthy calls to their service line they said I shouldn't have been charged to begin with. It took 4 months to get those charges refunded. Also, they still haven't returned my deposit, which I've requested multiple times. This endeavour was a complete waste of time and money.

Creative Workspace - Mold and moss in the window track when I moved in! Unacceptable

I was a tenant here from 2016 until 2020. The first manager…read morewas amazing. She helped with anything I needed and was super nice. The new management was another story. Tirzah smoked cigarettes right outside of our business. Her unprofessionalism was unbelievable because she was petty on behalf of her friend who decided to open the same business as us. She moved her friend right next to us, came into our building without asking on the weekends (we have video proof), let her friend take things from our unit and then even tried to raise our rent on us hoping to drive us out. We rented 3 spaces from here and the 3rd space had a disgusting floor. We asked if they could clean or replace the floor before we moved in but she told us she could not so I paid for the floors to be replaced. She agreed if we replaced the floor, she could do the free trimming for us. The job she did was A JOKE and I have posted photos of it on yelp. I have held back from writing anything but since we have moved out, I still feel like these problems need to be addressed because there is no way a manager of a building where people operate their business should treat tenants in this way. They made a huge hole in our wall and told us they would fix it but never did. No explanation on what the hole was even for. We also told them we did not have hot water in November of 2019 because of something they messed with. In January of 2020 I reminded if she could fix the hot water, and she rudely said she will. Then quarantine happened. Months passed and the hole in the wall hasn't been fixed, yet she's still charging every month for rent ... which makes no sense because weren't we paying rent for them to fulfill their landlord duties? In June when we could open up again and the stay at home order was lifted, we asked if they had fixed the hot water issue so our clients could wash their hands because it was essential for us to have for our business and she replies she had been too busy to do it. We moved out July of 2020 and moved out all of our things and they still charge us cleaning fees. Extremely unprofessional to come into our unit without notice, not fix essential things to keep our business operating, and reply to tenants in the way she did. Flash forward to the end of July when we had already moved out of the work spaces -- you would think that our problems would end there. We needed to change our address so Google sent us mail to the work spaces in order to confirm our address. We had emailed Tirzah asking for her to keep an eye out for the mail but she instead confirmed that we were still at the old addresses which complicated our clients' appointments because Google would route them to Creative Work Space. I have accounts from numerous clients who have told me they went to our old location, only to be told by the manager that we were still there and pointing them into the direction of her friend's business. The logical thing would've been to inform our clients that we have moved instead of sending them on a goose chase. To anyone thinking of moving here, don't! There's sketchy people around the building and there's never parking anywhere. Not to mention the shared bathrooms always get vandalized and smell terrible. The bathroom doesn't lock so people can walk in on you.

What a great place to work! Private and secure office or creative spaces that you can customize and…read moregreat for running a businesses with clients. Tirzah was amazing to work with! Highly recommended!

We calculated how much money we were getting after their fees and all the repairs they had done (for our 1990 house that was in great shape) and it turned out to be 65% of the rent. If you need anything be prepared to interact with their robust team of offshore folks in the Philippines. We are still unclear why we needed our septic pumped 2x within 2 years and were quoted $3-4k each time as they did not send us the detailed breakdown of the requested work. We had a suspicion that the folks they use for maintenance and for other repairs were financially incentivized or tied to the company as we did not receive multiple bids and it looked like SJA had ties to the company doing the work. Shout out to Kayla Schwartz who never answered any of my emails until I cc'd Claudette Scott. They did not seem to fully do walk throughs and left our property and wood floors covered in dog pee pads during the walk through. We requested that they not allow tenants to use our fireplace and found they had left that in the listing so we were legally obligated to allow it. Neat. If you want to lose significant amounts of value and gain 0 value except for a huge headache, SJA is the property management firm for you!
