I would give 3.5 stars for free play and 4 stars for camp. My 6 yo enjoyed his week of camp last summer- convenient location, small class size, fun STEM theme, indoor and outdoor time, staff can heat up lunch, with extended hours available...he had a blast! We've been to a birthday party here and today for free play along with my 2 yo and while the kids had fun I do agree with some of the other reviewers about price being a little steep for the small square footage of play area and some parts could use a little more cleaning. Staff was nice and they did pick up a lot while we were there in between waves of kids. 11:30 on a Sunday was a good slot to pick since most of the morning crowd left before lunch and birthday party came in early afternoon so there was a window where there were very few kids there. It can be overwhelming for kids who need some more space and less stimulation. I appreciated the well thought out play areas and while it's better suited for toddler age range my almost 7 year old still had a great time along with his brother. Plenty of seating for parents yay however no area to take a snack break (no food allowed inside the play area). You can go outside to Redmond town center and there are plenty of areas to sit and great restaurants or quick snack bites and if you purchase a day pass you have in and out privledges per staff I asked today. read more

A young lady at the front desk explained how it works: you can either pay $19 per hour for each kid or choose a membership for better value, which I appreciated. The space is clean, safe, and packed with activities that kept my kids entertained. There are a variety of play areas suitable for different age groups, and it's a great option for rainy days or when you need something fun to do indoors. That said, there's room for improvement. The staff could use a bit more training when it comes to charging the correct price for memberships I had a small issue with this during my visit. Also, while some staff members were friendly and helpful, others could be a bit more welcoming. The space itself could also be bigger, especially during busy hours. It can feel a little crowded, but it's still a fun experience for the kids. Overall, Kids Magic Lab is a great option for indoor play, and with a few improvements, it could easily be a 5-star spot. Yay for an indoor play space that is clean and updated with toys and things our kids actually play with. Both our girls (3 and 5) love the Kids Magic Lab. We went on a weekday afternoon and didn't have to fight any crowds. The space was clean, inviting and the girls enjoyed playing in the different sections, especially the Hospital and Kitchen areas. Yes it's pricier than other indoor play gyms but it felt worth it for the cleanliness and variety of areas my girls could play in. The staff was kind and helpful. Space was great. Lots of different areas with different sensory play, imaginary play, etc. More shovels for the sand pit would be nice. All the kids want them. The woman at the desk was quite rude and seemed very annoyed with my simple question/ gift card issue online, and she behaved as of there was very little she could do? I explained there was a charge left over that I wasn't able to add to the giftcard for some reason and it was adding it to the total and she insinuated that I "either needed to pay it or not?" and threw her hands up. The transaction went through, but imagining if it wasn't so easily done, she was just overall very unhelpful. The only thing prohibiting me from giving Kids Magic Lab 5 starts is the cost. The facility is new, clean and has a nice variety of play options, but $19/hour or $30 for a day pass is extremely steep. Realistically, a toddler isn't going to spend more than 2 hours here. We hosted our son's birthday party here and the kids had a great time, but the 2hr time slot made everything feel very rushed. If you factor in time for food, cake, etc., the actual play time is maybe 1.5 hrs max. Great concept, but definitely cost prohibitive. read more

I gave a 5 star review for this location some time ago but after a recent visit felt compelled to chime in again. While my 4 year old granddaughter had as much fun as she has on previous visits, I was disappointed by the general griminess I saw. I have to admit to being hyper-aware of such things now that we're in the midst of flu season, but I found it disappointing to say the least. Case in point, the small counter where the hand sanitizer bottles are. It looked like there were several layers of sanitizer that had dripped over time. Other surfaces were equally in need of a cleaning cloth. In the ball pit (I really love the colors) there were many strands of long black hair. And while the game screen might be a fun new addition, we couldn't play because the light from the window (yes, the sun was actually shining when we were there) made it almost impossible to see the images. We really like to play here so I hope management can do a bit of cleaning. I'll definitely pop in for a quick look at that sanitizer counter before bring my littles there again. read more

Has a ton of potential since it's a nice, brightly lit space in a good location within Redmond Town Center. However, $19/hr per child (includes only one adult, any extra adults are $8/each and you have to either purchase a 5-pass pack or pay $30/entry) is very expensive. The highlight of the space is definitely the ball pit area with the air chute and tunnel machines, but we also liked the other smaller themed areas like a hospital and fruit stand etc. If they offered a more affordable pricing package we'd definitely come by more, but right now it's just an occasional indulgence for our child when it's cold or rainy outside. It would also benefit from areas where they could separate the older kids who play rough compared to the younger toddlers. read more

Location is great. Amazing play concept. Ridiculously overpriced. More expensive than kid quest in bellevue. It is way smaller than kid quest. Their advertising will get you "Free messy play class" but requiere a $10 to sign up that you don't get back. It's not free if you have to pay any amount. The class was soo crowded & just ok. I mean for a $10 class it was meh. Visited once & really wanted to like it for my children but it didn't deliver. Kid quest will continue to get my money. read more

Aesthetically cute play area with a good number of activities. However, I would suggest an employee clean around and put toys back every once in awhile. They had little house set ups for a vet, supermarket, etc. with nothing in them because stuff was thrown all over the place. There was also a really weird smell when we walked in...not sure if the employees just had their lunch but it smelt sort of like cheese...maybe someone threw up and no one cleaned it? Can't justify the $30 when you can go to kids quest for almost half the price and multiple floors of play areas. Someone said they paid $19..but I got charged $30 (as per their website too)...so I don't know what's going on. Or go to the free kids play area in Bellevue square..it's basically the same size. If entrance fee is reduced significantly, I'd come back. But for now, I'll just go to Kids Quest..it's a much better value. read more

TL;DR: Not for parents who value screen-free, hands-on, creative play and care about noise/visual overstimulation after the 1/16/2025 remodel. 2 stars after the remodel (was 4 stars before). We used to love this place. On rainy days, my 3-year-old would climb, build with foam blocks, and enjoy pretend play with wooden toys. The slide and toolset were his absolute favorites--he could spend hours happily exploring and playing. It was a calm, clean, and comfortable space that gave us both a much-needed break. I'd join in the play or just relax while he explored. But things changed after the remodel (1/16/2025). They added a huge, loud, blinking video game with sound effects and background music that fill the entire space. Instead of pretend play and climbing, some kids now just stand in front of the screen, cracking blocks endlessly--crack, crack, crack, bump, bump, bump, explode, explode. To make it worse, the game changes themes every few minutes, constantly drawing kids back for more. The game does have an auto-shutdown feature: if no one plays it for a while, it will turn off for 10 minutes. But with so many kids attracted to it, that rarely happens. My son didn't even touch the game, but the noise and flashing lights were impossible to avoid. He couldn't concentrate on the slide, the toolset, or any of the other toys he used to love. By the time we left, he (and even I) was overstimulated and overtired. It was exhausting for both of us. The staff was nice enough to lower the volume a bit and promptly refunded my pass when I asked. I appreciate their help, but the experience left me feeling disappointed. This used to be such a pleasant space for creative, hands-on play, and now it's a struggle to find something similar for rainy days. If they ever remove the video game or limit its impact, I'd gladly come back. If you feel the same, please consider leaving a review. Hopefully, they'll see how much their choices affect families like ours and make some changes. read more

Took my daughter for the first time today and while she had fun it really isn't worth the $19 to play for just one hour.. kids-quest is cheaper per person and you can stay as long as you want to. I think the concept is really great! It's clean, things are nicely organized and there's not much else around like it! Perpetually closed for birthday parties. This weekend they were closed all day, both weekend days. I purchased passes, and I'm finding that to have been a big waste of money. If they're going to sell passes while closing down for weekend, they should open until 8PM or something. OR allow partial admission during birthdays like other places. read more

My almost 4 year old really loved this place . We have now gone twice . It is a lot smaller than Kids Quest , but maybe that's why she likes it as it isn't as overwhelming and she played for long periods in each section. I will agree it is a bit spendy for what you get . Imagine museum and The Ridge are all less expensive then this , but for the ease of location I will give it 5 stars . read more
