The staff here are incredible and genuinely care about each individual student. They know the families and take time to ensure that each child feels welcome, a sense of belonging, and that they are valued members of the school. All year I have felt as though the staff have wrapped their arms around our entire family, including grandparents who regularly pick up my child. Educationally, my child is well prepared for kindergarten and he has showed excitement about his learning. From weaving in daily routines that mimic that of a kindergarten classroom, teaching, foundational reading skills and math concepts, they create a learning space that is highly engaging and prepares children for elementary school. My kid was eager to share all that he was learning and proud of the work he brought home each day. Perhaps the greatest indicator of a successful preschool year was that my son regularly wanted to go to school. He showed disappointment on the weekend or when he didn't have an extended lunch buddy day. The fact that he loved school and his teachers were proof enough that this is an incredible school. This preschool has a true community feel and I couldn't be happier about the warm environment that my child spent a year in. I wish I had found this gem sooner and can't wait to have my youngest go there as soon as he is able to.

Prior to AIP I had my children in a co-op, but with more kids it was challenging to work in the classroom. My first draw to AIP with 3 kids 3 and under was that they have DRIVE THRU drop-off and pick-up, so I didn't need to get my other two kids out of the car. Now that my older 3 are in elementary I don't need this as much, but it still can be a great option (especially if I'm running 5-10 minutes late!) They have a lot of great enrichments across the year (these vary depending on what class you're in) field trips: pumpkin farm, farm, Kirkland Storybook Theater, Children's Museum, fire station, pond, as well as lots of incursions: bunnies, reptile man or lady, police officer, fire fighters, dentist and then of course mommy and muffins, daddy and donuts, Valentine, Easter, and harvest parties as well as an end-of year carnival in 4s and 5s classes. They also have a Christmas and end of year program. Note, this program only runs through May, this surprised me the first couple years, but they have offered a 2-3 week "summer camp" extention into June for those who want a longer year. My two oldest boys and my youngest will attend the 5s class which is a great option for children that need an extra year before kindergarten or are on the older end. They have a great balance of educational curriculum which addresses kindergarten readiness through zoophonics, writing their name, numbers and colors (again, based on age), daily art and lots of play (rotation of toys and sensory activities). They will meet with you in January to let you know how your student is doing, but they are very responsive if you have a concern or want to know more sooner. They either go outside or set up indoor movement play activity, this isn't an outdoor preschool so if it's a rainy day they won't necessarily go outside. They regularly post photos to their private Facebook group so you can see what's going on inside of the classroom. We love Arrowhead Inglemoor Preschool, it is has been a great fit for our family! Note: This is a preschool that runs out of Epiphany Lutheran Church and they will sing Christmas songs, and go to chapel once a month and learn a Bible story. If that is something that bothers you, this probably isn't the right preschool for you!

Just like most new moms, I was very nervous leaving my baby and going back to work but the Goddard staff made us so comfortable from the beginning by providing kind, supportive, educated communication. The owner, Shauna, and the entire administrative staff are fantastic. Very hands on and with great communication, always open to answering questions and providing updates. The teachers in the infant class are caring, loving and provide a safe environment for babies to grow and explore. My son moved from the infants to toddler room a few months ago and the teachers in toddler class (Squirrels) are just as amazing. They do such a great job of taking care of the kids, teaching them, making connection with them and making sure they have fun. We were amazed when my son started doing sign language to communicate and it seems like he is learning something new everyday. He loves going to school and he loves his teachers, and enjoys the wide range of activities specially music class and going out. It has been an incredible journey for us to see him grow and learn new things and we owe it to the fantastic team at Goddard. We highly recommend The Goddard at Redmond Ridge to anyone looking for a safe and caring daycare and school with high standards.

On top of wonderful people, the curriculum and activities are so good for her! She learned sign language, foundational concepts like sharing, saying please and thank you, and fun things like painting and music! They've handled the Covid-19 crisis like pros and we feel very comfortable with the extra measures they take to make sure everyone stays healthy. You really can't find a better place than here.

After a few years of happy learning alongside great friends in a nurturing environment and we sent our daughter off to Kindergarten with a full heart and a thirst for learning. April's Play School was a very peaceful place filled with laughter and respectful friends. A couple years following her final Pre K class, she decided to bring the same fun curriculum to an outdoor summer camp and invite older kids to join along as participants or even junior counselors. Our youngest joined in for a week of camp along with her cousins. They had an amazing time. It's so fun to know that the kids are just being kids (with supervision), in nature, making up games and stories, building forts or even doing a structured project like washing berries and making jam. They took hikes and collected bugs. They did kid stuff and got dirty and maybe a little sweaty and they just had a blast. I was thrilled to hear that Camp Roots was gearing up for a 6 week run this summer. I immediately signed my little one up for 3 weeks and my Freshman aged son up to participate in the volunteering program. I'm expecting the same old thing as last time: slightly dirty, extremely happy & tired kids, competing with each other to over share their accomplishments of the day with me over dinner. It's soul filling to drop the hyper academic stuff for a few weeks and watch the kids truly enjoy (fairly) unstructured summer play. Go Camp Roots!!!

The drama program for my kids is also nice. When Studio East started at Somerset they offered enrollment and we raced to get in on time. Anyone who has tried to get their kid into an after-school activity knows that it is the Thunderdome.... If the Thunderdome were waking up super early and refreshing a page over and over in the hopes that you beat all the other parents in entering your kid's information on time. My Mavis Teaches Typing powers must have been on point that morning. But when you do that race once, you don't have to do it over and over again. This is because they are supposed to offer priority registration to existing students so that they can have something resembling a continuity to their experience. Pretty important. But instead of that they just offered open enrollment again. It was a mistake. Their exact words were, "we didn't think it would be so popular, sorry" That's not smart, but I would never leave a 1-star review because of a mistake. I leave 1-star reviews when the mistake is brought to their attention and they not only don't fix it, but they say that they will do priority registration in the future. This means they have now made it COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE for my daughter to ever be part of the after-school camp in the future. If they fix this then I would remove this review. This is a very binary failure. --- They fixed it by adding a teacher. YAY to the company!!!

The video lessons are short and easily understood, while the practice exercises work great on a smart board or a projector. There are four levels of instruction: Pawn, Knight, Bishop and Rook. This allowed our kids to be separated into two separate groups and be challenged at the level that was most appropriate for them. The online portal also allows kids to play against the computer and one another online. Chess4Life not only offers a great program, they also give back to the community and care about the kids. Their presence is felt in many of the chess tournaments throughout the state and they run and volunteer at many of the chess events. I am glad to have selected Chess4Life and will recommend that both clubs continue to use them for future curriculum. Thank you!

I've attended the Club Teen Center for years, and there used to really be a community there of supportive and loving staff and people. There were actually alumnis who would return with college degrees or jobs or kids. But ever since the new CEO, Tim Motts, entered, he cut our funding, said he wanted to "stick [his] shoe up [a youth's] ass" for misbehaving, ignored blatant safety violations that have been properly reported (such as when Nicole aggressively grabbed a club youth), and worst of all, fired our staff who have supported youth for decades simply for disagreeing with him. It's absolutely unbelievable how badly he's hit our club, and I can't imagine how other clubs have also been impacted, in less than a year. I was really planning on coming back when I'm in college or after I get a job, now, I realize my last time will be in high school. Tim Motts does not have the youth in mind in his decisions and policies, he simply wants to feed his ego and reputation to impress the Boys and Girls Club of America and his other selfish goals. You can't have a selfish person be in charge of a child-care program, or stuff like this will happen, and your childhood places will turn bland and empty. Updating my review…read more I am so disheartened to be leaving a negative review of this school, but it is warranted. The teachers and directors responsible for my daughters amazing transition are no longer working at this school. It happened so fast which lets me know there were some management issues from the people at the top. I stand by the teachers and former directors of this school who ensured my daughter was seen and well looked after. My family and I have referred so many families to this school even with the high price point. Now we have made the decision to leave Primrose and go back to her former franchise and notified those families as well. If you are reading this and contemplating whether to trust this school with your children, I would say the answer should be no. The owners should do better. Be blessed!
