A+++ work. Things 2 Fix knocked it out of the park!!! We needed a garbage disposal installed and got an *outrageous* estimate from Home Depot where we bought the new unit. Consequently, I sourced multiple estimates here through Yelp and got the run-around from literally everyone EXCEPT Things 2 Fix. Where everyone else had sneaky fees and open-ended pricing, these guys were a beacon of honesty. They quoted me a flat rate and stated, and I quote, "We don't f*@k around with pricing like other companies, LOL." That is the straightforward mentality I needed. I have nothing but great things to say about Things 2 Fix. After a massive renovation project, we were left with two bathtubs that were leaking into the units below us. We had three different contractors come out to repair the leaks. All of them left us with outrageous bills, threats of litigation, and bathtubs that still leaked. After receiving payment, none of them would honor their "warranties" and come back to fix their deficient work. When I initially found Jon on Yelp, I was skeptical. I decided to give him a chance because I had no other options. They were extremely responsive and were able to come out in a few days. They fixed both leaks and honored their warranties for minor things I noticed after they left. Their prices are very reasonable. Furthermore, they are actually licensed, which is rare for most services that you find on Yelp. Most contractors will present a license, but have unlicensed workers do the actual work to cut costs. They are also extremely trustworthy and I would have them work in my home with no one present. If you have any issues, I highly recommend you contact them. They will not disappoint. As to the negative reviews left by Ryenne and Amy, all I can say is that Things 2 Fix was one of the most responsive contractors I have come across. Jon and his crew really saved my porch when most repairmen/contractors weren't doing any outdoor work. We had a cracked stringer in December which is a terrible month for anything on the exterior of a house to need to be repaired. I contacted a bunch of contractors/repairmen who wouldn't do any work at all until March because it's just too cold and snowy. Enter Things 2 Fix. Jon was super quick to respond to give me a quote (through Yelp) and was able to come out two days after our initial contact to look the porch over and make the repair. The Things 2 Fix quote was 50% less (in one case 80% less) than what other places quoted me just to make a repair. One person even said they'd have to rebuild the entire porch for $2000 which is just nuts. Jon and his crew were incredibly professional and took their time to repair the porch so it can actually be used by people coming and going from the front door. The repair itself only took about two hours and Jon was able to use material I'd already purchased (I tried to do this repair myself) so he just charged me for the labor. He had said if they needed supplies they would go to the store the day-of and buy what was necessary and he quoted that as about $25 more, but that ended up being moot. I will for sure call Things 2 Fix again when I need something repaired around my house. Being a homeowner means that there will always be something in need of repair and I can only get so far with YouTube tutorials and the basic tools that I have so I'm sure I'll put Jon on speed dial sometime in the future. They probably could have charged me more due to the fact that the vanity I bought broke and I had to go to Home Depot for a new one but they didn't. When I say honest, I mean honest. I used Things 2 Fix back in January to replace the wax ring of our toilet that was leaking. They completed the job quickly and were very responsive. I asked them to come back out this month (July) after I noticed some pooling of water around the toilet. I thought it needed a new wax ring but it turns out there was a small drip coming from a loose bolt/screw in the toilet tank. No one answered but I received a text saying there was a family emergency and they had to leave town unexpectedly-said he thought they sent cancellation emails out but "just remembered" he didn't get my email address. Whenever I get an email from a tenant, I'm filled with dread. Let the headache begin! Fortunately, Jon and his team was able to alleviate mine very easily. He did a great job with a 2nd floor bathtub that was leaking and damaged a 1st floor bedroom ceiling. He responded to my request immediately and provided a quote that was reasonable and significantly less than others. When the caulking didn't stick because the bathtub was still wet, Jon came back and re-caulked the bathtub with a thicker agent.
