I eat "There" quite frequently. It is a perfect spot to hit before or after a movie. Service: Bar staff and servers are always mindful if you tell them that you are trying to make a movie. The owner is a real gem. He values customer feedback and has some really amazing stories to tell as well. I've eaten at the tables and the bar while I like seating, the bar staff is pretty great. Food: They don't change up the menu too frequently, but just enough to keep you on your toes. The continued "go to" and signature dish a THERE is the bison burger. Other apps/salads have come and gone, but there is a reason this is the staple dish that just won't be leaving any time soon. I always sub the garlic rosemary fries with any dish. This is a must. Atmosphere: Varies! I have been here when there was an acoustic cover artist and a huge crowd, but also in on a Friday or Saturday evening where the whole place had one or two tables filled. The confusion of getting a group to this restaurant because of its name is quite comical, but once you're here be ready to enjoy some great tasting food! I came to there for a late Sunday brunch. The place wasn't too packed by 2:00pm which was surprising as most places in the area have long wait times well into the afternoon. I was seated quickly and the waiter quickly explained the specials and deals of the day. I ordered a bloody Mary which was very refreshing and quite spicy. They garnished the drink with only a couple dil pickle chips, which was the only knock on the drink. For my entree I had the There burger, which was cooked a little longer than I would have liked but the flavor was great! The fries were probably my favorite part. I love the innovative dishes and the proximity to my house. My husband and I have enjoyed several meals here, and many times we will just stop in for a drink. You simply must get the Bison Burger. Another favorite of mine is the Reuben. The menu is always changing, and they often have specials based on the produce of the season. I have also enjoyed many of the craft cocktails created here. There also offers a fairly extensive variety of craft beers. The venue is small, service is not always the friendliest but it is always timed appropriately. My only suggestion? More desserts, please. The staff here is always so friendly and upbeat. It's definitely your neighborhood bar but located in the Brookhaven Town Center, it is easily accessible and I'm confident that folks come from all over to check out their menu. On Sundays, they have a live band that plays jazz and their brunch menu rocks. I'm a huge fan of their garlic parmesan fries and their bison burger. Every time I've been here, the overall experience is great and memorable. It's a great date spot or place to gather with friends for a tasty meal and drinks. My family was in town on their way to Florida and we were hanging out in Atlanta for the day. They originally were wanting pizza for dinner but the two restaurants in the area were packed and unable to seat us due to events. We decided to go to There instead and are so glad we did! The food was DELICIOUS! The special for the day was a hot lobster roll, very tasty. Our group also got the prime rib ravioli, hanger steak, fish and chips, and fish sandwich. I wish I had taken a picture because there was not a single crumb left on anyone's plate! The only reason for the 4 stars and not five is due to the speaker on the patio going in and out. It was kind of distracting but not a deal breaker. Our waitress also forgot a beer refill twice once the restaurant got busier. I've met a friend here for drinks twice. Let me get what I don't like out of the way.... It's in a strip mall and not in an acceptable way. There is nothing relaxing about looking at Costco across the street. And I'd prefer not to eat pub food and then have to see fit people coming out of the LA Fitness next door. Bottom line, this location sucks. But it's Brookhaven so I don't expect much anyway. I feel uncomfortable drinking vodka around babies. While I completely respect the parents' desire to be out and about, it still makes me uncomfortable to see babies in places I equate with bars. The bar service here is not awful but it's also nothing to compliment. I think they do what they gotta do but they do not add to a pleasant experience. What I like about There are the garlic rosemary fries and the vodka lemonade. The fries are crispy and delicious with fresh garlic. I could kill a vampire with my breath when I'm done but they are so good I don't care. I love vodka with pretty much anything but fresh lemonade is the best and they make it with fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. They actually ran out of the lemon juice and simple syrup on my last visit which made me very sad but I got over it. You can also park in the very front of Town of Brookhaven area and walk on over. Space - Decent. There are tables outside too. So if you have a dog, you can totally sit outside with them. :D Service - It's a bar. Guy was cool and stuff. Fairly knowledgeable with the beer. My bf and his sister liked the beer listed up front. I've also had the burger here, which was good, but quite a small portion for the price. I give 3 stars for the high prices and portion sizes. I liked the toasted bun, that was a nice touch. The garlic rosemary fries were a let down. "Raw, minced garlic fries" is what they should be renamed. No rosemary flavor at all. The fries were perfectly crispy yet the juice from the minced garlic saturated the bottom of the plate, overpowering the fries. I ate at the bar and noticed a few people moving away! Our server's name was Mark and boy was he great. Attention to detail was on point and gave us wonderful recommendations. I would definitely suggest asking for him, he'll steer you in the right direction. He works from Wednesday-Friday. We had the crawfish etouffee and the pan seared duck. You wont go wrong with either of these, full of flavor and cook to perfection. The crawfish was over a bed of baked grits, very different from the typical rice you are usually served with an etouffee dish. the grits had a nice toast to them. The seared duck was cooked at the perfect temperature kudos to the chef that evening. Duck was over a bed of veggies, mushrooms, carrots, brussel sprouts, etc. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes such as the reuben sandwich suggested by Mark. Usually when I have a bad experience at a restaurant I write a review as soon as I get home. Our experience at There was amazing and somehow can't explain not reviewing while everything was fresh in my mind. We started with the deviled eggs and the smoked trout dip appetizers. Hubby had the corn beef hash and it was delicious. I had the famous bison burger, was the best burger I have eaten in Atlanta and the fries were also the best. Brought half the fries and burger home and they tasted as good as they did at brunch. Unfortunately wanted to have bloody marys but their own pre-made mix was way too spicy for us. It seems we can't find a restaurant that can keeps V8 juice or regular tomato juice to appease those of us who like our bloody marys mild. My only complaint!! Can't wait to go back!! read more

"There" is more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. They change the menu quite often, and the food is good. We have been many times, and the most recent time we went for brunch. We got there at 12:20- right before they could start serving alcohol, so we were able to get a seat at the bar quite easily. The Bloody Marys were tasty- they each come with a full strip of bacon. The unique thing is they have a 3 piece jazz band on Sunday for brunch which adds a nice touch. BY 1:30 there was a line to get in and all the tables were full. Bill the owner is always such a nice guy, he was working the bar, and when I could not drink my second Virgin Mary he gave my husband a free shot of vodka to go with it. This time I've tried the Fried Oysters and Seared Pork Belly, Fried Oysters was buttered in Pollenta, it has a gritty texture, the oysters were plum and juicy, but the sauteed red pepper was a bit too sweet, so I had to pull them off to the side. Next was a Seared pork belly with homemade kimuchi, the pork belly melted in my mouth, I'm not a big fan of kimuchi because it's a bit too hot for me, but the homemade kimuchi was just perfect, and it worked very well together. Presentation is simple but nice, so I had to take my camera and my video light to shoot the photos. It's great that I can enjoy a gourmet meal at a fraction of the cost, and knowing it's made from scratch, I would go back there again and try something else! read more

One of my favorite places. I like the There burger and garlic fries. The burger is always a consistent choice and the fries are great with ranch. I do feel my cholesterol popping up while I am there though. The atmosphere is sometimes very calm, but I have been when they have a band on a weeknight. I would not recommend going then if you want to talk to anyone you go with. Their indoor dining is very small to begin with, so having a band and any number of patrons makes it loud and crowded. The establishment is relatively new, and with that, there is growing pains, menu changes, some times shortages, and I understand this, considering its not a chain, its a small time local business. Despite the goof ups sometimes, they have always made things right and made up for it. Mind you, this experience was within the first week they opened, I've been back numerous times since and without a hitch! Beer selection is good, but I have a small palate for that. However, the menu, while not huge, has a good selection of various foods. The Mahi Cubano has got to be my absolute favorite tho!
