The fried chicken sandwich was a tad dry and felt like it was missing something. I would recommend the breakfast sandwiches instead. I just had the best croissant that I've ever had in my entire life. I never thought I'd be able to top my previous review, but in my very humble opinion, this place is one of the top bakeries in Vancouver along with Small Victory (and Remi Patisserie, but he only does pop ups). Purebred is pretty good too. Anyway, I've decided to drop by and get a few things, and they were all super amazing. Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant (5/5) Yes. Get this. If you take anything away from my review it is to get this. Immediately. Just drop whatever you're doing and get this damn croissant. It's that good. I thought their almond croissant was the best croissant I've ever tried but this is way better. It's super flaky and has the crisp exterior of a perfect, buttery croissant. They don't skimp on the filings either. The whole croissant is stuffed full of hazelnut paste and chocolate. Unlike other places that only use one stick of chocolate, they use two, and the hazelnut paste covers the whole entire croissant so every bite is bursting with flavour. There are also roasted hazelnuts on top, which complete the croissant of my dreams. No other croissant had ever come close to how good this is. It's not super oily either, which is perfect. Almond Croissant (5/5) Still the best almond croissant I've had (see my last review), but for some reason it's not as good as I remember. It's a shame. It's still amazing, but I'll go for the hazelnut one now. Chocolate Chip Cookie (5/5) This is my second or third favourite cookie of all time. First place goes to Small Victory for sure, but this one and the inner from Nemesis Coffee are so amazing as well. All three are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the reason why Small Victory wins is because they use high quality dark chocolate and they don't use sea salt. Walnut Financier (3.5/5) Pretty small for the price, but it tastes pretty good. The flavours were there, the financier was moist (sorry), and there was a generous amount of walnuts. The maple/caramel sauce it was dipped in wasn't overly sweet, and overall it wasn't bad. I probably won't get it again though, since the texture is a little weird. Kouignn Amann (4/5) It was Tonka bean flavoured today, so I decided to give it a shot even though I'm not the biggest fan of vanilla. This is one of the best that I've tried. It could use a little bit more caramelisation, but overall it was good. The pastry was flaky and subtly buttery, unlike places where liquid but just squirts straight into your mouth and make you want to hurl. If you like vanilla this would probably get 4.5-5 stars but unfortunately vanilla isn't my jam. It was still good though. Definitely recommend coming here. Honestly you can't really go wrong with any of their items, but the croissants and cookies are where they truly shine. The ambience is one of the best, and every single thing in that shop is my aesthetic. Their takeaway cups are the cutest and they even have an arcade machine. If you want to take cute insta pics they even have a cute chair with a neon sign and plants behind it. One of the best places here in Vancouver and I cannot recommend it enough. Their There was so busy today when I stopped in! If you already know what you're ordering, I highly reccomend ordering ahead on their website for pickup. They had dine in seating available and followed COVID safety measures with plexiglass dividers, sanitizer and all the employees were wearing masks. I decided to get their infamous fried chicken sandwich and 3 donuts. The donut flavours that they have here are so unique, I got the s'mores crueller, cereal milk mochi and salted caramel espresso crueler. The fried chicken sandwich is one of my all time favourites, I always got it in the evening when they converted to "Hundy" but I found out on Instagram that they won't be operating Hundy anymore at that space which made me so sad but I'm glad that they decided to keep selling the fried chicken sandwiches at Their There, I truly believe they do it the best in town! The sandwich is composed of a brioche bun, jalepeno aioli, shredded lettuce and the most delicious, juicy, crispy boneless chicken thigh. I don't know how they do it but I will never eat a chicken sandwich from any other place because they've just set the bar. It's so nice to see how busy they are, the service was pretty fast for how full it was. The Their There staff is always so friendly, accomodating and helpful. In an era where the aesthetics of your cafe matter just as much as your food offerings, Their There manages to nail both. I've had it on my list for some time now and finally visited today for a quick lunch bite. They've clearly put a lot of thought into the interior - sleek wood panelling, dusty rose terracotta planters, and lots of greenery make the space an instant social media hit. There's one communal table with a mixed granite top (gorgeous!), small tables scattered throughout and window seating for optimal people watching. This place was PACKED on a Saturday afternoon and I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. We ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich ($11) and Pork Cubano ($11), as well as two of their rotating beers on tap. Whoever's curating the craft beers has great taste, with nice picks from Luppolo, 33 Acres, and Twin Sails on the docket today. The fried chicken sandwich came on a potato bun reminiscent of the one from DL on the Drive, but the flavour profile here is completely different. Here you've got a light cabbage slaw and they're light-handed with the condiments, which I appreciate so the chicken really shines through. They've opted for individual pieces vs. one thigh/breast, but the density of the bread helps keep everything intact. I really like the batter they use and I'd say it's very similar to what they offer at their sister restaurant Anna Lena, retaining a nice crunch and moisture throughout. My only complaint is the sandwich lists jalapeno aioli as one of its components and I didn't get any of that flavour whatsoever. All in all, a very solid chicken sando nonetheless. My boyfriend's Cubano sandwich was equally delicious, with thick slices of pork, cheese, homemade sweet pickles and mustard. This was well-balanced and I didn't find any of the ingredients overpowering the others. However, for the same price as the chicken sandwich, it was significantly smaller. I can see someone with a larger appetite needing something more substantial to feel full. Maybe if it was a dollar or two cheaper I'd think it was a better value. I can see why Their There is such a popular spot and I definitely will be back to try some of their enticing baked goods (popcorn cronuts!) and coffee. Saw this place when I was walking on West 4th and I just HAD to come in, since I've heard and saw so much about it on social media! Everything about this place screams "instagramable!" Have been wanting to try this place and finally had my nice walk during lunch break and managed to stop by the place for a quick coffee and pastry. Was a little thrown off by the cashier comment when I was ordering macchiato as she explained that they're not like Starbucks in the sense of size. I was a little thrown off and ended up with a latte. Their pastries on the display all looked so wonderful and mouthwatering, and ended up with Goooood Morning Vietnam, which is a donut, shaped like an eclair and filled with vietnamese coffee pastry cream and layered with chantily cream and coffee flavored toppings. The donut is delicious and the pastry cream was a nice compliment to the donut. But I think the flavor needs a bit more oomphs for lack of better words. My latte was nice, smooth, and well balanced. One of my favourite coffee shops in Vancity! Whenever I'm in Kits, this is my go-to spot for a cup o'joe and sweet treat. I usually go for my usual oat milk latte when I'm here, but have also tried their regular drip and it does just the trick! Their aesthetically pleasing decor and design is great on the eyes and I always find myself always thinking how pretty the entire cafe is when I'm in here. I've heard he buzz about Their There so I decided to check it out on a Thursday afternoon. Shop wasn't busy, had a chilled out but professional vibe. I ordered straight away: Americano (They use Heart Roasters from Portland) $3.50, and a sandwich called the Pork Cubano. This sandwich has roasted pork shoulder, pickles, Swiss cheese and spicy Dijon aioli for $10. The sandwich was super crisp on the outside and piping hot in the middle. Would recommend! The Americano that I ordered was up to par with other coffee spots around Vancouver. Nothing to blow me away, but I would order again! What a great place! Such simple decor and I really really dig their logo! Staff is nice and patient as I stared at all the pastries trying to take it all in. Smoked meat breakfast sandwich was super light and way more filling than you'd expect. Great flavor and moisture, definitely getting this one again. Churro Cronut is the awesome!!!!!! I approve! You can get your latte or Americano, or maybe a glass of Pinot instead! Tasty baked good are available and quite yummy from my personal experience. I tried the Cinnaman! It's basically a cinnamon bun, but almost seems like it's crossed with a croissant? Creamy frosting on top that's not too sweet. $5.50. ALCOHOL: They offer a Pinot Noir, and a Pinot Gris for $9 for a 6 ounce, and bubbles are $12. They also offer a couple draft beers for $6, 33 Acres Pale Ale and Four Winds Lager. FOOD: Sandwiches are on the menu, 2 all day breakfast sandwiches and two lunch sandwiches available after 11:30. You can add a side of egg salad or beef bone broth. What I loved about this cafe?! Nothing like trying to have a conversation over a drink between one guy working on a laptop with his Beats on, and two others with five plates on a table smaller than a cafeteria tray. Love this place for coffee meets or lunch treats. The only downside is that compared to other places the food menu can be limiting. Although straight up they do the things they do really well. Have to give it 5* cause damn that food is goooood. read more

Tried this place a few days ago. I almost missed the entrance because it isn't too obvious. It was packed on a Friday afternoon so that was the only downside. I had the lemon meringue crueller. The barista torched it in front of me so it was a nice touch! The crueller was light, fluffy and creamy, so delicious! Definitely will be back to try more of their pastries. read more
