I know the owner pretty well . Ive spent more than $10,000 with them on two audio systems and a fiber line to my office . Im having trouble with there remotes and direct tv systems . I lean on them to be the professionals to get things fixed , but they have worked until something needs an update or rebooted or whatever about a couple weeks later . I call a lot and get zero response . Until i get to pushing them then they show up and it works for a couple weeks then back to pushing them . I really think they're great people, but I think they're too busy to deal with a remote control, but after spending over $10,000 with them, I find myself just as important as any other customer. BEST SERVICE! Jeff and Cesar did an amazing job installing not one but two TV's the same day I got the keys to my new home in Temecula. They showed up on time, knocked out the installs (even cleaned up the wires and connected the receiver that runs the surround sound in the ceiling) and left it as clean as they found it. Let me tell you it was not an easy install to get a 65 inch flush mount in my built in with an old TV mount but they did it. THAT'S NOT ALL! They did so great I had them back to install my two nest thermostats, and over 30 Lutron Cassetta smart dimmer and fan control switches with paired pico remotes. These guys get it done. Nate and his team are incredible! I'm a type-A (control freak) personality with a sprinkle of OCD. I know I'm the worst customer a company could ask for. Nate came in, listened to my basic ideas and went to work on a plan (See initial rendering photo). Had a crew of 3 installers come by and were very courteous and upfront about setting expectations for myself and the job as a whole. We had a TV mounted outside along with 2 outdoor speakers. They made sure everything was waterproofed and looked clean. We also had construction going on that they worked around. We did have 1 "issue" that came up as the receiver I have to run the outdoor speakers could work but it wouldnt get the job done the way we hoped it would. So they suggested a Sonos unit that did cost more but didnt feel pressured into buying it. They just gave recommendations and would do whatever we needed them to. The install was quick, clean and can tell was done right. Really look forward to having them do more projects. read more

Just want to say these are absolutely great! I called Nate on the weekend because we had TVs laying all over the house. I expected weeks before install. Nate and his team were there following day making it happen. In all they installed 4 flat screens , one outside under the gazebo. They wired everything, programmed all the remotes and just generally had great attitudes when I couldn't decide on the height of my main family room 70"so they literally held it up moved it up and down a few times. We ended right back where they first had mentioned. I guess why that's why they are the pros.. They had it all done in a matter of hours. 100% satisfied customer here. Nate and his entire team at Theater Monster are excellent at what they do. I just finished a giant remodel and not only did Nate and his team come in and present ideas and options that I had no idea were even possible, his bid was the most competitive and easy to understand. Home automation and technology in general can be a daunting subject for someone who isn't experienced with it. Nate presented a very understandable plan from beginning to the end... He did all my prewiring, installed 15 TV's and made my house a smart home using Control 4. I can push 1 button and the whole house goes into "Party" mode, it's incredible. They presented great options for our home theater and really made that room something special working within a limited budget. He also integrated 5 old surveillance cameras into our new system which many people told me couldn't be done... Nate did it in about an hour. The Theater Monster Team worked seamlessly with our other subs (ADT, electricians etc) which made the renovation that much better. I contacted Theater Monster to get a quote on installing speakers in my ceiling and setting up surround sound in our movie room. Plus, installing speakers by the pool, a soundbar in our living room, speakers in several other rooms in the house and moving some electrical outlets to make it all super sleek and clean. Nate showed up exactly when he said he would to do a walk through and then sent me a quote the same day - super professional. I worked with Jana, at setting up the installation appointment and getting a few questions answered. We are giving 2 stars only because the techs would show up on time and were always very polite when they came out. From the very beginning it was always difficult to get in contact with the office whether to schedule an appointment or ask questions or to just get an update. We would leave multiple voicemails and still would not get a phone call back. It wasn't until we got Nate's cell phone number that we were actually able to speak with someone to express our concerns. They did a fair job at installing speakers but seemed uncomfortable or unsure about the Smart lighting that we had. They actually installed a light switch that we didn't ask for and charged us for it and still have not been rectified. The projector ended up falling off of the mount which we came to find out that it was due to the wrong screws being used. When we went back to our receipt to find out how to put the mount back together we discovered that the mount that was installed was NOT the mount we paid for. When we reached out to the office regarding the projector falling and having the wrong mount they said that the mount was upgraded due to the orientation of the projector, however this was never communicated to us. They didn't even give us what we asked for! We asked for the Control 4 access to be able to control all the lights, sound, and projector as well as our house cameras but ended up with only being able to turn our projector on and off! We actually had to hire someone else to come in and do all the Control 4 items. They claim to do Control 4 but seemed very unsure about the whole thing. We would not recommend this company. read more
