Took two bridesmaids dresses in to be hemmed. I noticed the previous reviews saying that items were not ready at the designated time, and was wondering if that would be the case. Was told it would be a week, went back in a week and the dresses had not even been touched. As the previous reviews stated, no apology or conversation about why they weren't ready, just told to come back in another week. The woman behind me in line had brought a bathrobe in to be hemmed, and it was her second time coming back to pick it up (since it wasn't ready the first time). My daughter had come down from Kennesaw to try the dress on to be sure it was hemmed at the correct length. We took the dresses and left, went to IP Alterations (where I have been going for at least 15 years and should have gone this time), and had them back in two days. Terrible service. read more

I would not recommend this place. I walked in to this tailor shop and was immediately disgusted. They had puppies running around the shop and one of the puppies had peed on the floor. The shop was a complete mess. Clothes just thrown everywhere, the puppies were even around some clothes ready to get picked up. They were chewing on garments! They take over a week to service clothes and sometimes they will not be ready in a week! Take my advice& just go somewhere else read more

This place is appalling! After my clothes had been there for a week, they still were not ready when I arrived. I had to demand they alter my clothes while I wait. They took offense because I asked for a discount due to their lack of professionalism, so the attendant/tailor didn't even press the hem on the garments.I attribute that to their unprofessional demeanor. I don't care if they did end up doing work for free. They are rude and sorry. If they had performed the work in a more professional manner, I may have been convinced to ignore their faux pas and recommend more customers to them. NOT NOW! read more

I've gone to this establishment twice and both times they failed to have my items completed as promised. The incident today was the last straw for me. I took two pants and a suit coat in Wednesday two weeks ago. The lady promised to have them done within the week. I returned the following Wednesday and she told me that she had not had time to get to them and to return the next day, Thursday. I was unable to come Thursday and so I came Friday. Again, she said they were not ready and for me to return Monday. I went back Monday afternoon and again she had not even started on the items. She asked me to come back today, Tuesday, at noon. I arrived at the shop at 1:30pm and again she had not gotten to my items. That was enough for me. I will never again do business with this shop. No professionalism, no appreciation of their customers. Just the worst ladies I've ever dealt with. Please don't waste your time dealing with these people. read more

Horrible Service....this was my first time going to this business. I am huge on customer service, I am a loyal patron and will make many referrals to your business if you have great customer service. I dropped off two pair pants to get altered. The woman who assisted me is named Petra I believe. She promised to have the items back to me in a week (Thursday) which was fine. I wasn't able to make it on Thursday so I came Friday. I walked in and she didn't greet me, the first thing she said was your items aren't done. I let her know she told me Thursday last week(which is on my ticket) She told me I'm about to do them now can you come back tomorrow I let her know I couldn't come back because I was going out of town in a few hours she shrugged her shoulders and said "well??? And rolled her eyes" She didn't apologize, try to accommodate me, nothing. I let her know I was disappointed in the customer service and would come back the following week. I come on Wednesday to pick up my pants and when I walked in she didnt greet me as at all and is having a conversation with another customer about personal matters (they are very loud when talking and plus I'm standing right behind them) I patiently take a seat and wait for 5-6 minutes for them to finish. When they were through talking she did not address me, sat down continuing her work and called someone from the back to check me out! Seriously! She could have had someone else (whom I believe was the owner) to check me out while she has her personal convo. No apology nothing. Bad service just horrible. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I used Thea's for years and was satisfied with their work. A couple years ago I took pants to be hemmed and when I came back to pick them up, a week later as agreed, they were not ready. No explanation and seemingly little concern about the inconvenience. I was frustrated but I was willing to view it as a one-off lapse in service. This month I took pants to be hemmed, and when I arrived on the agreed-upon date they were not ready; I asked for a firm commitment when they would be ready. Four days later I returned to pick them up and they still were not ready. The THIRD time I arrived they were ready. I wondered if they would charge me, or at least offer a discount for the poor service. They charged me in full, without even apologizing for the delays, and I paid, making a mental note that in exchange for their lack of courtesy and respect [not to mention business sense], I would write a truthful negative review here. I don't like having to do this, but I cannot support a business that is so inattentive to service. At the very least they could have said, "We are so sorry that this happened, and your next alteration will be free." At the very least. But they just don't seem to care. In future I will drive to Atlanta if I have to for tailoring. read more

Took in a $400 designer dress to have shortened. It had alot of dangly silver pieces on the front, but they said they could do it. The dress was destroyed. Though it was mint condition when we took it in, when we got it back there were broken threads and the pieces started falling off. Somehow the back zipper was pulled from the fabric (about 1/3 inch). The seam on one side was pulled badly. There were unsightly random wrinkles in the dress where some thread was pulled too tight. It appears as though they bit off more than they could chew and tried to cover it up. I bought this dress for my wife for a special date I set up for this weekend, but it is not wearable. They decided to charge me, anyways, even though I showed them pictures. I went ahead and paid, but never again will we go back there. I also had to return multiple times because it wasn't ready by the set date. I was truly shocked that they destroyed the dress and still charged me. The experience, for us, was bad. read more
