I came here to get a dress last minute altered for an event. The girl at the front desk was very understanding and efficient. I told them I wanted the dress above my ankles, but the seamstress gave me her blunt but honest opinion that it would look bad that way and recommends covering my heels. I greatly appreciate her honest opinion and know that she has her customers' best interest at heart. I got my measurements done asap, and I was out within 15 mins. And you don't need to worry about forgetting to bring your dress shoes because they have some on hand. They charged a low cost of $5 for same or next day alterations, which I was more than happy to do. I came to pick up my dress by the end of the day. I brought my bridesmaid dress to be altered in the hips. When I received my dress back, there was a lot of puckering on the butt area where the zipper was. They didn't have any solutions except to shorten my full length dress by 4 inches or buy a new dress. Poor experience overall. read more

So....if you want to do business with someone who is rude, talk over you and then sit down at her sewing machine and ignore you, then Hahn's is your place! I stopped by to bring in 3 pieces for alterations. One piece I was unsure of because of the fabric and style, so I had some questions. The lady was rude, not helpful and unprofessional. I'd used her services once a few years ago and that experience was OK as I recall. Not today. Don't know what her problem was/is but I will NEVER, EVER reach out to Hahn's for work again. I cannot/will not patronize businesses who don't respect me. Her prices may have been cheap but her ATTITUDE spoke volumes. read more

I went to Hahn's to get a dress altered that I couldn't fit 1 week before my best friend's wedding. I came in, tried on the dress and 2 of the ladies that run the store told me my options and were very realistic. Because it was a dress from David's bridal and couldn't be taken out much ( due to little to no extra material) they told me up front and recommended taking out the dress as much as they could and/or making a bustier. I agreed to the take out and it was ready I'm 3 days. I will definitely come here again for all my alteration needs and would recommend to anyone seeking alterations !!! She did a horrible job on my daughter's school uniforms. Sure, she is inexpensive but you get what you pay for!! It was a simple hem job-- the lines are uneven and one of the hemlines is falling already. Don't leave her store without inspecting the items carefully!! update-- brought items back for repair and she literally laughed at the job.
