    Queen's has been my saving Grace! The sweetest person inside and outward! She always comes through for me. ...and did I mention she absolutely knows her stuff! I needed my jumpsuit altered literally within 48 hours and Queen's came through. Yes, I had to pay a rush fee, but it was ok because it was last minute on my part. She's a little more expensive than others but her work speaks for itself.

    I use Queen for all our alterations and I'm never disappointed. Thank you for making our daughters prom perfect!

    Queen altered my baby's dress for homecoming!  She did an awesome job pretty last minute for us!

On or about December 23rd…read more2025 I delivered a jacket and matching sweater to, (The Cleaners, at 2148 Scenic Hwy-N Snellville) for cleaning. Upon picking it up on 01/02/2026 payment was requested by the manger and paid by myself at which time I departed. Upon arriving at my home it was observed that the sweater had been damaged,(excessively shrunken) to the point of being unusable by anyone but a small child, ( I am 5'11" and a 190lbs). I returned to the above location and spoke with the manager, (Chris Suh) who insisted that I had caused this damage prior to leaving it with them and refused to except any responsibility for what is clearly, damage caused by their neglect or at best their willful incompetence.

In the past, I've picked up dresses missing their belts, and on another occasion, I was charged separately for a skirt that was supposed to be part of a suit set. These might seem like small issues, but they're avoidable mistakes that add up. Most recently, I dropped off a leather jacket for cleaning. It's been nearly three weeks, and each time I've stopped by, I'm told it hasn't returned from the third-party leather cleaner. Despite multiple visits, there seems to be no effort to ensure the jacket is back in a timely manner--or at all. On my third visit, I was again told it would arrive in a few days. Frustrated, I left without my jacket. If you need your clothing back when promised, think twice before trusting this business. Sadly, my experience has been far from professional. Proceed with caution.

I called at 10am and…read morespoke to the first dressmaker I'd found online, texted him pictures and a video, and got pricing from him and how much fabric I would need to purchase on that initial call. I then called Berty and got her voicemail. I texted a message along with the pictures & video to her phone. After about 3 hours and no response, I called again and once again got her voicemail. Hmmmm... ok... this IS a business day within business hours right?? This time I left a message. Berty called me back about a half hour later. She stated that she was "in a meeting" and started chatting me up about the dress. She stated that she had some beautiful material that I might want to use and that she's designed for many many clients, blah, blah, bluuuuhhh... ok cool. So when I asked about pricing she started telling me that I needed to come by her shop to take measurements and that she needed my email to send me her address? Okkkkaayyy... we got off the phone once I told her I'd text her my email. I sent her my email and also wrote that I needed a price quote to be included when she emails me her address. She then texts me her address with no price quote! SO, I ask myself, "Self, why did she ask for my email if all she was going to do was text it to me? MAYBE she's just going to email the quote by itself." Welp, THAT was 7 days ago and I've recieved absolutely no further correspondence from Berty whatsoever. Why couldn't I just get a quote over the phone like the other dressmaker did?!? I mean, THIS is what you do right?!?!? THIS is your area of expertise right?!?!? At least TELL me you not going to be sending ANYTHING, smdh. Very unprofessional... SO, I guess I will be contacting Daba Dressmaker back since Berty obviously doesn't want my business.

    Update: See the proprietor's response. What he did is…read moredefinitely not "common sense matters". However, we do know now that it is to him. If you are unsure as to what is correct, go to any store that sells men's suits and ask. Better yet, just do a little google search. New suits (mine at least) have plackets long enough so when hemmed they will not look improper. Sewing them shut is simply incorrect and absolutely not a default choice. No one asked him to create new plackets with extra material. I did not ask him for a cheap option, and I told him to take his time. His dismissive response is misleading at best. When questioned the next day, he used measurements to try to convince me why he had no choice but to do what he did, but those numbers did not check out upon verification at home. Technicalities aside, look at the photos, and think of what other pitfalls you as a customer will need to foresee and avoid. I took the jackets to another alteration shop. As it turned out, Alex had cut out the fabric that was originally in the plackets so his mistake could not be reversed. Another unnecessary violation of a basic rule. The other new jacket, however, has been hemmed properly by her the first time, at a cost comparable to what AA+ charged for the improper and oversimplified job.

    I typically stay loyal to my tried-and-true alteration shop in Snellville, but I decided to give L…read moreV. Alterations in Lilburn a chance since it is closer to my home. Initially, I was very hopeful after speaking directly with the owner. I brought in two dresses, both with lining, and we discussed in detail the alterations needed. One dress required more work, including taking in the sides and shoulders, raising the hook closure, and stitching the top closed at the bust area. We also discussed pricing. While I initially felt the total of $160 for both dresses was a bit expensive, the owner explained the amount of work involved, and I agreed to move forward. We also discussed the timeline, and I intentionally gave her a full week to complete the work since I would be leaving the country shortly afterward. Unfortunately, when I arrived today on Mother's Day to pick up my dresses, only one dress had been completed. The dress requiring the side alterations, shoulder adjustments, hook closure change, and stitching...had not been touched at all. In fact, the pins from my original fitting were still in the dress exactly as they were placed during our first meeting. That immediately showed me that no work had even been started or attempted on the dress despite the agreed-upon timeline. I was then told that she wanted to speak with me first regarding the hook placement and stitching because those would be an additional cost. But she never called during that week to discuss. This was extremely disappointing because those exact alterations had already been discussed and agreed upon upfront as part of the original price. To be fair, the dress that was completed was done well, and I can acknowledge quality work where it exists. However, I was disappointed by the lack of follow-through, communication, and consistency regarding what was originally agreed upon. And I gave her additional time...1 week to complete both dresses. She stated that was good. As a customer, I value transparency and professionalism, and I do not appreciate when terms change after an agreement has already been made. At that point, I simply asked for my unfinished dress back, and now I am left scrambling to find someone else to complete the work before my trip. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. I do wish them the best moving forward, and I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve communication and customer service for future clients. My advice to others would simply be to proceed with caution and ensure every detail is clearly confirmed before moving forward.

I love that I can pull up and they will grab a comforter from my backseat, give me a ticket and send me on my way. The entire interaction for a drop off took all of 2 minutes and 11 seconds. Yes ... I timed it. Customer service: The owner is amazing. He always greets me with a smile and goes out of his way to make sure I'm pleased. Value: A king comforter cleaning runs me about $30-$40. I'm sure I can likely find somewhere cheaper, but the experience here makes it worth it.

The recent owners are HORRIBLE and rude! His teenage kids are sweet and will one day be great business owners if they continue to be themselves and not turn out to be like their father. Lol. I read a different review talking about the horrible guy with the beard, that's him! He does not honor the mistakes made in his establishment. As long time weekly customers that has never complained, you would think he would try to correct an error in his work. Well just the opposite. We will miss them because majority of the work is good but when those 1 or 2 pieces get damaged, this guy does not take responsibility. By the way the ladies in the back are amazingly sweet (they've been there since the last owner). It's just the bearded owner that's a horrible business man!
