What you need to know: Super friendly, knows what you look best in, very helpful, and super affordable! Came here because I had a bunch of pants I needed tailored. They had a list of COVID measures that made me feel safe (even though I was the only one in there), the lady was super friendly and helpful with suggestions and making sure I got the styles I wanted, and the prices were SUPER affordable. Ended up paying $36 to get 3 pants hemmed, which is way better than I usually pay. Very big space, and they conveniently have separated dressing stalls if there are multiple people in the store.

Thank you
Jan M.

I bought a pair of stunner silk pants that were too long. I was nervous to have them altered due to the material and age, but this place did an incredible job, and were quick!

Although small, it has enough room for two fitting rooms, a small platform, and a full length mirror. The shared parking lot is massive. I've used their dry cleaning services before and have always been pleased. They only accept cash or check, but are nice enough to give you the option of paying for services when you pick up if you don't have either cash or check on hand. At my last visit, I brought a jumpsuit to be hemmed. Typical me forgot to bring the shoes I plan on wearing with the jumpsuit. The nice lady (not Sue) who was helping me gave me her shoes (just to step on) to get an idea of the hem lenghth I wanted. I just picked up my jumpsuit earlier this week and the lenght is perfect! She also did a great job with the hem. I paid $25. I also want to add that my sister used Sue for her wedding gown alterations in 2016 and she was more than satisfied with the service and the price! She met Sue at Bravura in Snellville for 3-4 fittings, when Sue was the seamstress at Bravura before that location closed. My sister lost weight after every fitting and required lots of alterations. However, Sue did not charge her for the additional work. Sue was very professional and thorough. My sister's dress turned out gorgeous and she was comfortable throughout the day. The bustle was beautiful and and easy to do. It made my job as a MOH easier the day of the wedding!

I typically stay loyal to my tried-and-true alteration shop in Snellville, but I decided to give L…read moreV. Alterations in Lilburn a chance since it is closer to my home. Initially, I was very hopeful after speaking directly with the owner. I brought in two dresses, both with lining, and we discussed in detail the alterations needed. One dress required more work, including taking in the sides and shoulders, raising the hook closure, and stitching the top closed at the bust area. We also discussed pricing. While I initially felt the total of $160 for both dresses was a bit expensive, the owner explained the amount of work involved, and I agreed to move forward. We also discussed the timeline, and I intentionally gave her a full week to complete the work since I would be leaving the country shortly afterward. Unfortunately, when I arrived today on Mother's Day to pick up my dresses, only one dress had been completed. The dress requiring the side alterations, shoulder adjustments, hook closure change, and stitching...had not been touched at all. In fact, the pins from my original fitting were still in the dress exactly as they were placed during our first meeting. That immediately showed me that no work had even been started or attempted on the dress despite the agreed-upon timeline. I was then told that she wanted to speak with me first regarding the hook placement and stitching because those would be an additional cost. But she never called during that week to discuss. This was extremely disappointing because those exact alterations had already been discussed and agreed upon upfront as part of the original price. To be fair, the dress that was completed was done well, and I can acknowledge quality work where it exists. However, I was disappointed by the lack of follow-through, communication, and consistency regarding what was originally agreed upon. And I gave her additional time...1 week to complete both dresses. She stated that was good. As a customer, I value transparency and professionalism, and I do not appreciate when terms change after an agreement has already been made. At that point, I simply asked for my unfinished dress back, and now I am left scrambling to find someone else to complete the work before my trip. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. I do wish them the best moving forward, and I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve communication and customer service for future clients. My advice to others would simply be to proceed with caution and ensure every detail is clearly confirmed before moving forward.

I was told she had a bigger order than mine and she could not fix my items. She didn't even remember anything about my items! She could've called me a week ago telling me this but she waited until I get there and doesn't even remember to do my items. i know she's been in business for a while but Im very dissatisfied!

If you are unsure as to what is correct, go to any store that sells men's suits and ask. Better yet, just do a little google search. New suits (mine at least) have plackets long enough so when hemmed they will not look improper. Sewing them shut is simply incorrect and absolutely not a default choice. No one asked him to create new plackets with extra material. I did not ask him for a cheap option, and I told him to take his time. His dismissive response is misleading at best. When questioned the next day, he used measurements to try to convince me why he had no choice but to do what he did, but those numbers did not check out upon verification at home. Technicalities aside, look at the photos, and think of what other pitfalls you as a customer will need to foresee and avoid. I took the jackets to another alteration shop. As it turned out, Alex had cut out the fabric that was originally in the plackets so his mistake could not be reversed. Another unnecessary violation of a basic rule. The other new jacket, however, has been hemmed properly by her the first time, at a cost comparable to what AA+ charged for the improper and oversimplified job.

I noticed when I dropped off a bedspread (that they have drycleaned multiple times over the years) that there was a new girl. There is a language barrier there and I actually left the drive-thru and parked and went inside to make sure I said 'dry cleaned" not washed. It was always the process in the past that the spread was 'sent out' and based on what day of the week I left it, it would take at the least a week to get it back, as the outside provider only came one day a week to deliver or p/u. Well I was told 3 days. (first red flag) Upon picking it up I did notice that it smelled quite nice (dry cleaned items have no fragrance) (Second red flag) and returning home I opened it and it has been washed and the lining had shrunk away from the fabric and the filling was lumpy. They had washed and dried the spread. Tag on it says Dryclean Only. I returned the next day and the gentlemen inside said it had been washed but they could fix it. Just picked it up and it is even worse. A total loss. Our guest bedroom is decorated around this spread -- pillows, curtains, pictures, paint. I explained this to the man with pictures of the bedroom, and he offered me $150 for the damages. I will not be returning to this establishment, and I had been using them since 1991. In the back you can see a 'village' of people working and he did tell me they do not outsource anything anymore. Until the new owners learn the 'art' of drycleaning I would avoid using them.

The recent owners are HORRIBLE and rude! His teenage kids are sweet and will one day be great business owners if they continue to be themselves and not turn out to be like their father. Lol. I read a different review talking about the horrible guy with the beard, that's him! He does not honor the mistakes made in his establishment. As long time weekly customers that has never complained, you would think he would try to correct an error in his work. Well just the opposite. We will miss them because majority of the work is good but when those 1 or 2 pieces get damaged, this guy does not take responsibility. By the way the ladies in the back are amazingly sweet (they've been there since the last owner). It's just the bearded owner that's a horrible business man!
