So I had originally bought a floor length pea coat... very cute and I'm thinking I'm 5'6. I'm usually on the taller side of things so it's going to be perfect. It wiped the floor, so I started looking up alteration places that were close by and I couldn't find one lol so I drove past Tina's and ended up walking in. I don't know it just looked like the type of shopping center that would have an alterations situation. AND I WAS RIGHT. But I walked into Tina's. I was greeted immediately. The whole process took less than five minutes. I told her I had this really nice jacket that I just bought and it drug the floor. She asked how much I wanted to be taken up and I told her 1 inch so she had me put the jacket on stand in the mirror and she showed me 1 inch lol it was not enough so we went up 2 inches. I asked her if she was just going to fold it under and stitch it and she told me no she's going to cut everything, cut the fabric and sew it how the jacket is originally stitched. I will not be able to tell the difference. That is exactly what they did and now the cut is the perfect length and it looks seamless. Definitely better than me just going to buy a piece of double-sided fabric tape and trying to fold it in on itself and hope it holds. The service was $60 which is about normal and I didn't know what to expect on the timeframe, but they told me to come back in a week which I thought might've been a little long for 2 inches but I have never had anything altered. And also they did look like they had quite a bit of business in there waiting to be altered. But it definitely was ready by the day she told me to come back. I asked her if I need to call her they call me she said no you could walk in on Wednesday and pick it up. It definitely was ready and I lost my ticket and I described my item to her and she went to get it for me no problem. If I need anything, I'll be back. They did a great job. read more

I came last to get my son's suit altered for his Prom which is tomorrow. I came and picked up the suit around 1:20pm got home around 1:38pm I called them to let them know they missed up the lining of the jacket and that it is to late to fix it and I just wanted half of the money back because the jacket was the most expensive. I spent around $187.00 just for the alteration. I bring the jacket and show the ladies how unprofessional it looks and they start yelling and tell me why the jacket looks like this and that this isn't their fault. But I paid y'all to do a service that I was unhappy with. I didn't ask for a full refund just a partial refund and the deny me the refund and called the police and told them I was bulling. After getting the wife's wedding dress altered here, I knew that I was going to come back here to alter my suit. I lost some weight during COVID pandemic (I know, surprising it wasn't the other way around) so suits needed to be altered. They were great at tailoring my suit. It cost $80 to change the shoulders, arm length, and waist. I thought they did a great job, and it was pretty painless. I was so frustrated. I need to pick up the dress and on their pick up tab it clearly said they were open till 630. I called to make sure what time they're open till and the lady told me 6 PM...OK fine. I was going to be close so I tried calling at 5:25 just to make sure I could come by. No answer to any of 6 calls!! So I I called earlier today, this time they close at five and I'm like OK so yesterday you close at six but you only stay till 520 today you close at five, what's the deal. I get off work at 5 PM. She's like I can't stay so I'll leave early to get the dress. So finally I pick up the dress and try it on there at the shop to make sure it's fine. She did the alteration to high, it was wrong and as a result made the dress too tight. I know I haven't gained a whole dress size in less than two weeks. And this idiot goes to so far as to point out it's too tight! She says"also here in this spot too, you need to lose weight!" I couldn't believe it!! I looked at her in the mirror and was like, you're going to close early yesterday and then tell me I need to lose weight! Just unzip me so I can leave. When unprofessional moron!! Cant say enough good things about this shop. I've only had one thing altered here but it'll be my go to place from now on. I needed a bridesmaid gown altered 3 weeks before the wedding. And they did it! For a very reasonable price! Background- I had to order my bridesmaid gown when I was pregnant, ordered it 2 sizes up, thinking that it might fit once I was 4 months postpartum. It did not! Too long, too big in the bottom part but not big enough in the boobs, I couldn't even zip it up all the way. 3 other shops said they couldn't help me because the opening gap was too big, even with the extra fabric that I had. I found Tina's and they figured it out. I came in 3 wks before the wedding and she had it ready in 2 wks. She had to use my extra fabric plus some of the fabric from one of the under layers but my dress turned out fabulous! read more

Panicked, I hopped the flight to Atlanta and called Tina who personally assured me that she could help me with my emergency and alter the dress in a matter of hours so that I could have it for the wedding the following day. It is pretty shameful that I had items that still had tags on them or haven't even worn yet because they needed alterations. Tina's Alterations saved me! I decided on Tina's after reading their amazing review online. I brought in a pair of jeans that were missing the button to close them and an off-the-shoulder top that had ripped. Tina's Alterations was my life saver as I was preparing for my wedding in August! I had a terrible experience going to Go 2 Bella who quoted me almost ~$700 for the work that Tina quoted me ~$200! At first I was skeptical that because the cost was much lower, the quality might also be lower but I was so wrong! The shop doesn't look very fancy, it is definitely a hole in the wall, but don't be fooled by that! And although English is not their first language, they are top quality alteration professionals who are skilled at their craft and know what they are doing. I took a chance and trusted them with my wedding dress and that was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process! After my boyfriend and I changed into our formal attire she and who I believe is her husband (idk lol) worked very fast while asking if everything felt good or if I needed any adjustments. I came here to get my wedding dress altered, but Tina does a lot more than bridal alterations. I just needed my dress taken in a little and a bustle added. Tina helped me get into my dress and buttoned all the way up to see what exactly needed to be done. Other, more expensive, alterations shops I visited didn't even see the dress on me before they quoted a price. I was really surprised when Tina told me it would only take two weeks! Took a pair of motorcycle pants in today. She was honest and said she could not take an inch out of the waist or cut them to length. I appreciate the up front honesty but didn't think that the cutting and heming the length at least would be a huge undertaking. Simply told me that she didn't want to mess up the pants and I needed to go to a professional.
