So I had originally bought a floor length pea coat... very cute and I'm thinking I'm 5'6. I'm…read moreusually on the taller side of things so it's going to be perfect. It wiped the floor, so I started looking up alteration places that were close by and I couldn't find one lol so I drove past Tina's and ended up walking in. I don't know it just looked like the type of shopping center that would have an alterations situation. AND I WAS RIGHT. But I walked into Tina's. I was greeted immediately. The whole process took less than five minutes. I told her I had this really nice jacket that I just bought and it drug the floor. She asked how much I wanted to be taken up and I told her 1 inch so she had me put the jacket on stand in the mirror and she showed me 1 inch lol it was not enough so we went up 2 inches. I asked her if she was just going to fold it under and stitch it and she told me no she's going to cut everything, cut the fabric and sew it how the jacket is originally stitched. I will not be able to tell the difference. That is exactly what they did and now the cut is the perfect length and it looks seamless. Definitely better than me just going to buy a piece of double-sided fabric tape and trying to fold it in on itself and hope it holds. The service was $60 which is about normal and I didn't know what to expect on the timeframe, but they told me to come back in a week which I thought might've been a little long for 2 inches but I have never had anything altered. And also they did look like they had quite a bit of business in there waiting to be altered. But it definitely was ready by the day she told me to come back. I asked her if I need to call her they call me she said no you could walk in on Wednesday and pick it up. It definitely was ready and I lost my ticket and I described my item to her and she went to get it for me no problem. If I need anything, I'll be back. They did a great job.

I came last to get my son's suit altered for his Prom which is tomorrow. I came and picked up the…read moresuit around 1:20pm got home around 1:38pm I called them to let them know they missed up the lining of the jacket and that it is to late to fix it and I just wanted half of the money back because the jacket was the most expensive. I spent around $187.00 just for the alteration. I bring the jacket and show the ladies how unprofessional it looks and they start yelling and tell me why the jacket looks like this and that this isn't their fault. But I paid y'all to do a service that I was unhappy with. I didn't ask for a full refund just a partial refund and the deny me the refund and called the police and told them I was bulling. By asking for my money back. They DO NOT LIKE BLACK/BROWN PEOPLE!!!!!!! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSSINESS...

My experience at this store was horrible! I had my dress altered for a wedding. The…read moreseamstress/owner took my measurements and assured me that everything would be perfect. Unfortunately, tere was no sign of perfection involved in the finished product! I tried on my dress the day before the wedding, and to my dismay, the front was longer than the back. The front of the dress was so long that it touched the floor and caused me to trip as I attempted to walk. Can you imagine walking down the isle and tripping in the middle of a wedding ceremony? What's was more frustrating is I was already in another state and was unable to return to the shop for additional alterations. I called the owner and informed her of my situation and said I expected a refund. She immediately became defensive and said she has been doing this job for many years and does excellent work. She asked if I had on the same shoes worn during her measurements. I told her I did have on the same shoes. She then told me several times that I could come back to the shop to have the dress altered. I kept informing her that I was already in another state and unable to return. I told her since there wasn't anything she could do at that time, I was only calling to make her aware of the situation and to inform her that I expected a refund upon my return. She was still very defensive and continued to tell me how she provides quality work and this inaccuracy in measurements is not possible. I continued to state my purpose for calling - I wanted a refund - and she eventually hung up on me. Since many stores were closed that evening, I had to spend the morning of the wedding frantically searching for safety pins. I ended up pinning the midsection of the dress to make it lift off the floor. Unfortunately, the pins were slightly visible during the ceremony. Very frustrating!

I've had several items tailored here and everything has been as I wanted…read more Each time I've been the owner/seamstress will instruct you to put on whatever is being tailored and stand on this platform. She then will eyeball what alterations are needed and pin them so you will see what the finished product will look like. This means you need to wear the shoes you will wear if you are messing with the length. It's a pretty exact measurement. This is a small shop, I've only ever seen one other person besides myself and the owner in there at a time. She only accepts cash and checks. Prices seem reasonable I believe it was maybe $25 or so to hem the bridesmaids dresses (each), maybe $30 or so to take in the bodice. Items tailored: 1. Bridesmaid dress- shortened. I wanted it floor length and it was. 2. bridesmaid dress #2 - shortened and taken in a bodice 3. Pants - shortened
