After being turned away by another Business claiming they do "Alterations While You Wait", I came here and got the Customer Service that I had hoped for. After a friendly greeting I was told it would only be 10 to 15 minutes for my pants to be hemmed and it would be just $15 instead of the $20+ other places ask for. Sure enough 15 minutes later the pants were hemmed, both legs even, and I got the perfect length. Cant really ask for anything more. read more

I had been coming here for years - at least 10 or more. Recently, the shop has changed ownership like 3 times in the past three years. The shoe repair guy had been there for 8 years until the new owner took over. He did great work and could turn around quick shoe jobs in minutes. Since the ownership changes, the prices keep going up and the policy that was changed 4 years ago to pay for work before the service is performed has remained in effect by each new owner under the pretense that customers were NOT picking up their alterations. The new owner, Jinny, does not like a customer to question her on why prices have changed dramatically so much. She gets a little offended. Then I wanted 4 brand new pair of shoes to have lifts put on them that used to cost $5.00 a pair a year ago now she wants $8.00 a pair for it. That was a service that one could wait on while they do it there in the store (it takes about 10 minutes to do right - if you know what you're doing) but she wanted me to leave them there and pick them up in 5 days because she was busy working on something else for another customer. This despite the fact that I am in the store waiting for a service that can be done while I wait but she chooses not to do that because it is not convenient for her. So, I questioned why I had to wait for a service that can be performed while I wait in the store and she didn't like that. As far as she is concerned, the customer is NOT always right and we both decided that I would seek another provider who had a more customer friendly and less owner centric view of doing business. I can only imagine what would happen if she didn't do something right after I had already paid for it in advance and complained. read more

This place is terrible! I have to review them based on my experience which didn't actually include having any work done. I refuse to give them money after the way I was treated by the owner. I walked in and showed her what I wanted done. She took my information and asked for payment. When I asked why pay in advance and what would happen if I wasn't happy with the work (I haven't patronized many shoe shops that ask for full payment up front), she told me I could go somewhere else. I was floored! When I remarked that that probably shouldn't be the first response to a customer who's questioning about services, she said, "I already discussed that. We guarantee our work." She NEVER mentioned anything about guarantees; if she had, I wouldn't be writing this review right now. She proceeded to talk over me when I told her again that she didn't say they guaranteed their work and that they make sure it was done correctly. "We've been here 30 years!" After a few more words, I left. She didn't seem to care. On the way out, I told her that is no way to treat a customer. If she doesn't get better at "customer service", they're going to go out of business. read more

Good quality service. Not sure if I will go back though because it's a bit pricey and have to make payment when you're dropping your clothes off. She says it's because people do not come back to pick it up, however there is still too much risk for me not knowing how it will turn out and I am leaving my clothes there. read more

I had an expensive boots that had large calf for me. We came in, lady took my measurements and told us to come back in couple of hours. When I got my boots back they were perfectly fit and looked just like the original one. Very professional, very skillful and very welcoming staff. Not to mention great price for such a job. Yikes! This place left me in a disaster. I left 2 pairs of dress pants to be hemmed and was very clear that I had to have them before Saturday as I had to officiate at a memorial service on Saturday and participate in a Service on Sunday! They assured me they would be ready. Friday at 5:45 I went to pick them up and found they had not been touched! Their excuse: "I think she forgot" It's not Friday night and I'm up the Chatahoochee with no paddle! read more
