I brought in several items for alterations, and when I returned to pick them up, the owner noticed a design on one of the t-shirts. I shared that it was in memory of my nephew, who passed away in a motorcycle accident. He had been a strength coach at UNC, and the community is raising money to support his widow and child. She was so touched by his story that she refused payment and told me to give the money to his family instead.
