Mrs Lee is fantastic. Her prices are reasonable, she is an expert seamstress, and turnaround is perfect.

they ruined my daughter's wedding dress by cutting it too short and told my daughter she needs to wear 1 inch heels instead of the 3 in heels she planned to wear AND they refused to give a refund. Also gave me the dress wrinkled claiming to have pressed it. read more

It doesn't get any better. My wife who is very particular and needs almost everything she wears altered and fitted has been entrusting her wardrobe to Mr Lee for the past 20 years. Since moving to Roswell 6 years ago Mr Lee has fitted me for not only Suits, Pants, Jeans and Shirts but also both my wife and my wedding attire. Mr Lee is fabulous and highly recommended. We're afraid if Mr Lee ever decides to retire, my wife and I will have to follow. read more

Unfortunately, Mr. Lee's English is poor and he is dismissive of your questions. I had to bring back 2 pairs of jeans that he had already altered but he left too long. I asked him when I first brought them in if he could shorten them a little more but he waved me away. My first mistake. I brought a 3rd pair that were overly flared and asked him to leave them boot cut with a light flare. He pinned them in a way that looked too skinny. I asked him to change it and again he waved me off and dismissed me. My second mistake was to assume that he knew what he was doing or understood me. He gave me back tapered pants. I asked for bootcut. He does not listen. That cost me about $250 in loss since the pants look ridiculous now and I don't wear them. read more

3.5 stars for "the best tailor in the world." Yes, I paid a lot of money to get two pairs of pants taken in and hemmed by Mr. Lee. He spent a fair amount of time telling me how he was "the best tailor in the world", and he spent a fair amount of time measuring and marking my new jeans for alterations. But the proof is in end result, and this is where my experience at Lee's went a little sideways. Read on fellow Yelper... The two pair of jeans I got for xmas gifts were not cheap. I was told that they were $300 for both pairs - more than I would spend, but they were gifts. They needed to be taken in at the waist and hemmed. Lee's is 5 stars here on Yelp, so I go with high expectations. I get measured up, and I get his personal spiel about how great he is. I come back about a week later for pickup. I take the jeans home and find the waist to be perfect but the length is way too short. When measured I had asked that the pants be left long, and they looked ok at the shop, but instead they were altered so that the bottoms fall well above the heel, not appropriate with even a no-heeled shoe. Lee charged over $100 for the work and at this point the $300 jeans with $100+ in alterations are Goodwill material. I bring the jeans back to Lee. He has no explanation but takes the pants for more work. A few days later Lee has added a half inch, and the jeans are perfect length. Unfortunately there is now a seam where he added the material. It's not totally invisible, and certainly not what you would want. My waist alterations were a little complicated, and I have to hand it to Mr. Lee that the waist was perfect. But the seemingly simple hemming was inexplicably way too short, and the subsequent fix is less than perfect. Sounds like I got the sizzle and not the steak. Lee's may be good, but based on this job he's got a ways to go to become the best tailor in the world. read more

I have lots of good things to say regarding Mr. Lee and his business. First, I have been very satisfied with the work as well as the friendliness of the store. His family works there as well, and they're all friendly Korean people. Always helpful and cheerful. I have experience using Mr. Lee's services for taking in sport coats, my dress & casual shirts, and 1 time a pair of jeans. He is very experienced, and able to correct issues due to the design of shirts, for example, and explains why when fitting your shirt (or whatever garment) with pins for tailoring it. Don't expect bottom-dollar pricing. You can't expect to get good work for next to nothing. That being said, his prices are similar to other shops, to my knowledge, but I've been happy with the results. Basically, in my case I mostly had shirts tailored. In some instances simply taking it in on the sides isn't enough, and wouldn't give the proper fit. They had to be adjusted properly in the back as well, and Mr. Lee's & his family were able to do so and the results were very nice! It can really make a big difference how a man looks when wearing clothes that have been properly altered to fit him. I would recommend avoiding Crabapple road during the "rush hour" time of the day (after work, say 5-6pm) due to the really heavy traffic. Try to schedule visiting at easier times of the day. I recommend giving them a try! read more

He is excellent and very meticulous!!! I had two suits altered and I was thrilled with his attention to detail. They were big improvements from the adjustment I had when I bought them. He even took the coats back and did them over because he wasn't happy with the results when they looked fine to me the first time. I'm going to have him make a custom suit as well as I have a lot of confidence in his work! read more

My family and I are so lucky to call upon and visit Lee's Tailors as our alterations, custom dress marker, and tailor extraordinaire! 10 out of 10 stars if I could give him that!! He is as good as it gets and no one comes close to him! He is worth every mile, every minute, and any dollar amount you have to get to his tailor shop and for his excellent service that you will receive. My family lives all the way in Lilburn; Gwinnett county and drives thru Duluth, Norcross, and Johns Creek traffic just to get to his shop and for his high level of customer service and his one of kind tailoring work. If you know anything about Atlanta traffic, you know not many things are worth fighting thru Atlanta traffic for. Mr. Lee is an exception and as mentioned above, he is totally worth it and more! He is so extremely talented, generous, professional, fast, passionate, thoughtful, and detailed focused! Like it states, he is THE BEST TAILOR IN THE WORLD! His dedication to his craft and to his customers is bar none, the best there is. He is a genuine and hard working man and also having met his other family members, I can speak to their integrity and kindness as well. He has an eye for what looks best and his aesthetics for fit, drape, length, structure, and so forth for clothing is something you don't see at other places in Atlanta. He has been active in the local community for many years and is well respected and admired. Mr. Lee really strives to form long term and lasting relationships. It is more like family rather than a cold business exchange that you might get at other locations in Atlanta. He takes times to know more about your interests, your events, your family, and much more. He has tailored many items for my family and I, created a custom dress and gown for special occasions, and even created custom garment bags with my name on them for a big event. His craftsmanship, his stitching, his level of detail, his focus, and his overall professionalism is something I personally never honestly seen before at any business establishment in Atlanta. He truly cares for you and wants you, the customer, to be happy and satisfied. I enthusiastically endorse and recommend Mr. Lee for all your tailoring, alterations, and custom garment needs. I promise you, you won't be disappointed! Please tell him that Kimberly Gittings Mills, Miss Georgia USA 2009, sent you! read more

Awesome, fixed my dress right there on the spot! Fair price!! Would definitely go back, wish he would open up a store in the city near me!

Quick alterations and nice work! Mr. Lee has been in business for a long time and he is proud of that fact. I do think the alterations are a bit pricey, but if it is a garment you really want fixed the right way, it is worth it for the money. I have taken a pair of pants and two dresses to Mr. Lee and both were fixed according to plan! read more

Perfection! I had a gown shortened for the first time. The first local place I went to wanted $85 which I thought was pricey. I came to Lee's and they did it for $50 and had a much better hem than the first place showed me (it looked like the original double stitch instead of a single). Mr. Lee spent a very long time perfecting the bottom of the dress with over 50 safety pins and making sure the dress flowed as I walked. The first place just marked it with chalk in 3 places. So wonderful attention to detail. I would go back. read more

The customer service was excellent and the turnaround was quick. Mr. Lee was able to repair the mistakes made by the previous store that tried to alter my suit and it looks great. The price for the quality of work is reasonable. Would definitely recommend. read more

Best tailor in town. Brought in many items over the years and have been happy with them all. Would recommend to anyone.

Mr. Lee did a great job on tailoring three suit coats. I have an athletic build and he made the coats look like custom pieces.

Work is comparable to others but overcharged. When he didn't hem the length he tried to tell me that I told him not to hem! And then he charged me even more when I tried to pick up the pants. Dirty and sneaky. Never again. read more

The work Lee did was fine but his business practices are unethical. I took my wedding dress in and asked for some length taken off the bottom and the sleeves taken in and for it to be done next week. He said he could do it and began pinning the dress and then I prepaid for the work. I thought this was a strange policy as I haven't had to prepay for alteration work at other places but I agreed to his $140 price without haggling and left. When I went to pick up my dress it looked good so I changed back into my clothes and started to leave. Mr. Lee stopped me and said there was a $50 extra charge for "extra work". I politely and firmly told him I didn't ask for extra work. He then says it's because he didn't know there would be so many layers to the dress. I reminded him that he counted the layers when he gave me the original price. He tries once more saying he added a bustle to the dress and points to the ribbon attached to the train that you use to hang the dress. He must of thought I didn't know it was there before I took my dress in, but the reality is that the ribbon there is standard with my dress model. I firmly said "Thank you for your work Mr. Lee" and walked out, in shock that he tried to swindle me at the last minute. $50 in "extra work" he didn't even do and I didn't ask for! Customer beware at Mr. Lees. Trust your instinct and be firm or you might get taken advantage of. read more

Mr. Lee is light's out. Over the years, he's probably altered 10-15 suits, slacks, jeans, and even a dress jacket or two. I was blown away by his jeans alterations, and most recently the suede dinner jacket. Phenomenal. I tell everyone to go see him. read more

I took my husband's white dress shirt there for a monogram on the sleeve and it was done beautifully... so I brought 2 more to be done and that's where the trouble started. I chose the same design and color as before, but when I went to pick them up, not only were they not the right design (font), it was tiny and done badly...not straight and the letters were not all filled in with embroidery. Mr Lee said his son had done the work and was both rude and unprofessional; he kept saying "you take like this" and insisted it could not be done over when I asked for that. When I said I could not accept the shirt like that he reluctantly agreed to remove the cuffs and replace them, reminding me that he will lose money on it. He also had the nerve to say when the work was done " you no come back". I told him that would not be a problem, and said I don't understand why the first shirt was so perfect and these so bad. He was surprised at that and told me to bring the first one in as that was the only way the monogram could be duplicated, despite the fact that I had chosen the style from his book. The end result was not great; he did not replace the cuffs, but tore out the old monogram and re-did it, and that too, had gaps in all the letters with the white shirt showing through. I sat and waited half an hour while he fixed it. I will never go back there... read more
